Pros

Easy to customize and navigate. Side menu is very helpful to see related entities, documents, etc. Scheduler 2.0 is great, easy to use. Flexibility of SWO maintenance types is an excellent addition. Document and pic upload is much better than x4 and actually pleasant to do. Global search is instrumental.

Cons

I'd like to see some mobile licenses included with the x5 subscription. x5 is missing a way to enforce naming conventions that should be added in where at either shared or site-specific level, rules for naming schema can be created an enforced. It is also missing a built-in workflow for approvals of when new items/entities are created. Could be based on user roles and permissions.

Overall ... experience is slightly favorable. but because of so much customization, no two systems will be similar.

Pros

Reports and dashboards, good training materials. excellent customer support and CSM, easy scheduling with scheduler 2.0 .. looking forward to having upgrade to schedule based on rating shifts a preset work assignments.

Cons

is a very clunky system. the structure is scattered all over and should be more chain linked together to make it more user friendly. this system allows too much customization and tries to act more like an ERP system vs a user-friendly maintenance management system. Licensing is crazy... the scheduling needs the ability to rotate calendars by a pitman schedule shift assignments.

Pros

There are a lot of great features to work with. It’s easy to understand and teach others how to use this feature.

Cons

Would like to see what else is offered in X4. There are a lot of features that are hidden. I was able to find a lot by reading through the documentation.

Overall my experience with E-maintenance is exceptional. The team has worked with me to modify our accounts to fit our specific needs. Our CSM is always touching base to see if there is more that they able to do to assist our needs. Hopefully our team decides to move to X5. I llok forward to working with the team in the future.

Pros

I find the system easy to navigate and to editable to our companies need. I have the ability to adjust all the forms and criteria to meet the standards that are needed for our procedures.

Cons

I believe this is a con just because we are still using X4, but i would say that my biggest problem with with the system is that as a admin i have to consistently adjust licensing for users via email chains whenever my operations team members move sites or are then positioned over multiple sites. I think once a user is added to the system that i should be able to just allow them to see what is needed.

There are some features that are a big improvements like parent child PMs and the layout of the user interface. Support system is not helpful.

Pros

New layout is much better than X4. Meter reading and parent child features are a big plus. Overlapping PM monthly weekly is a big plus and good feature.

Cons

Limited customization. X4 had capabilities of individual customization. Support ticket system. With X4 I could email a customer service rep. Replies were quick within the same day typically and I could directly hold a conversation for assistance. Now I am limited to placing a ticket and it takes weeks for a response. Searching seems clunky and too specific

Overall, E maintenance has been a great tool for us here at my facility. It make it easy to find documents that may be needed later to prove that the work has been done .

Pros

The main thing I like about E maint is it helps me keep up with my schedule on my PMs inspections and upcoming work that has to be done. The days of pencil and paper are gone.

Cons

The thing that I dislike about is not being able to navigate everything as I should be. I know they are different levels of access, but I just think it should be easy for everyone.

Pros

The customer support has been very helpful. The implementation team is doing a great job demonstrating how the system works for us.

Cons

Trying to implement other sites on my own. I found it difficult not having the training to do it. This is where I used customer support for answers.

Very good. Fairly intuitive for users. \[sensitive content hidden\] my CSM account manager has been extremely helpful in getting things done.

Pros

ease of use by end user technician. My team has adapted to it nicely, entering work orders, checking off and closing out PMs etc.

Cons

Tech support by phone call rarely does anyone answer. It is nice to be able to ask someone the best next step so I can send out emails with issues with the right information.

Ai help is only available on X5 version. The Excelerate Conference needs to move back to Florida area.

We have used x5 for over 5 years and have collected more data on the equipment than we had in the previous 20 years. When we have access we are able to review the historical data to help us build critical spare parts, and find common failures that repeatedly occur. It is a great system.

Pros

Having the ability to track specific data associated with assets building or even areas within our facilities that can include pictorial data.

Cons

Managements control restrictions along with slow updating of the data. Parts data has not yet completely been restored.

As someone who has implemented a CMMS before this process was easy. The CSM and implementation specialists work with you at every step of the way. While some times I felt they did not have the expertise I needed for a highly regulated company, once we met and went through iterations of what we were trying to achieve we got to the correct solutions. The training is great and the hands on experience you get there is priceless.

Pros

The is highly configurable, priced reasonably or even better than other competitors for what you get, and is easy to use for forecasted work orders and continuous improvement on your maintenence program.

Cons

During our implementation we have struggled with the workflows for approvals. In my industry there are a lot of regulations and quality oversight is mandatory. Only having status of open, complete, and closed made it difficult for my team to get on board with the approval process workflow.

My overall experience with using eMaint has been great. I am currently working on plans to integrate from X4 to X5 enterprise and looking forward to the added functionality and new interface.

Pros

Intuitive and easy to navigate, especially for managing work orders and preventive maintenance. Strong customization options for dashboards, reports, and workflows allow tailoring to specific industry needs. Supports mobile workforce management, enabling field technicians to access and update data on the go. Customer service is highly responsive and helpful support teams. Useful for inventory and work order management, even without internet access

Cons

The UI can be confusing at times, especially when dealing with multiple options or navigating work orders. Customizing work orders and purchase orders can be difficult without support. Occasional slow speeds and glitches, particularly with data imports and visualizations.

I can't say enough good thi gs about it. X5 is better than i expected. So customizable, easy to filter, very user friendly and easy to understand.

Pros

It is very customizable and easy to set up and use both on desktop and mobile, it has everything you need to support purchasing, inventory and purchasing.

Cons

Creating custom reports with expressions can be very difficult unless you are familiar with SQL language

Coming from running companies and wearing many hats, including maintenance technician and manager, knowing how databases like SAP and NetSuite work and are implemented greatly decreased the learning curve for eMaint and increased the rate of making meaningful and productive changes to an existing, mismanaged, system

Pros

Customer Support, amazing and friendly people that are invested in your success. For one-off requests, they get it done. For requests that will we be repeated they will figure out the needs, the solution, then when asked are incredibly invested in teaching the HOW and WHY so I get more understanding of the database.

Cons

X4 mobile and the customer support search bar, the support search bar function could be a lot better in finding resources for your version. Results are flooded with release notes that bury the walk throughs resulting in needing to chat with an agent more often and often leading to them finding the resource for us after the chat.

Overall has been a fantastic product that supports my company's needs. It goes above and beyond my company's requirements for tracking data trails and parts management as well as supporting the team in task and project management.

Pros

has excellent customizability in all fields plus the ability to add in features via workflows that are not currently native helps support the unique nuances to a specific industry. Additionally, it allows for custom prioritization of tasks for technicians through priority fields or custom fields.

Cons

The lack of some basic features on startup, such as cost analysis dashboards and connected sub-assets. While these features are easily configurable, they are fairly common in most industries and it would be beneficial to have some options for pre-built models that can be modified after the fact.

With it being my 3rd CMMS I have used, emaint is the most user friendly and configurable option and easiest to train on.

Pros

The configurability to be able to show the same information in multitude of ways. People learn differently, so allowing users the freedom to see information through various export options is vital. Also, it is extremely easy to manage PM work orders including assignments, tasks, and all personnel records to ensure the system is true. The support team at emaint is fantastic. If there are ever any issues/delays, it is very easy to get ahold of proper contact.

Cons

Overall, it has been good. There is a learning curve to a software system especially switching from X4 to X5. A lot of the programmable options like custom expression require some background in coding or logic

Pros

Our team is gnar gnar pow pow. We ask and they deliver. They have always worked well with us to build our unique solutions to appease our company restrictions.

Cons

Logging in to several instances for the various business cases we utilize is annoying. We have 5 instances that we utilize and it is a nightmare managing the user experience.

Working towards getting all the plants in X5, and what started as an Inventory management tool has evolved into PM management, Asset management and Procurement tool. A lot of features are available, sometimes it’s hard to grasp them all.

Pros

The ability to being able to customize it allows it to be valuable. Customer support has been really helpful to provide solutions and suggestions.

Cons

I have used a lot of customer support. And I see a difference in the ability to provide answers and sometimes the solutions don’t seem to match. (The best one I think is \[sensitive content hidden\]). Updates tend to be hard to follow up, and with the one on feb 9th, not even customer support and product specialist have been able to solve my cycle count issue.

It has been a wonderful experience all together after implementation into x5. X4 was very limited to organization and capabilities compared to what we were showed in X5. And expectations are very well worth the wait.

Pros

I love the application for emaint mobile. The ease of the application has helped as a technician. I cant wait for the further advancement with AI to take place.

Cons

The transition from x4 to x5 was very difficult. But our implementation rep and our customer succession planner Carlos has been the reason why will never leave emaint.

Sometimes difficult to get issues resolved. No technical service calls available on Fridays is sometimes a challenge.

I have been working with emaint for around 6 months now. I started using emaint on the technician level and am now using as an admin creating a new site based on experiences learned from using it at a lower level

Pros

The biggest thing that I like about is the customer service. Every time I have had an issue I have been helped to find a solution and if one can’t be found I’m directed to someone that does know.

Cons

My least favorite thing about emaint has to do with our company and that is the security firewall don’t let emaint talk with our plc and other plant systems

### "Emaint Review"

I love the systems. It is extremely easy to use. Fluke Mobile has been a lifesaver with the ease of use for the maintenance team.

Pros

User interface, having the same tasks for multiple plants, having all plants on one platform. It is easy for the plants to look up another plants spare parts, which means they don’t have to get a hold of me to see if someone else has a part

Cons

I personally have a hard time making reports, nothing on the CMMS though. I am hoping in the future I can tell the AI to create a report for me.
