All activities monitored and flagged no missed inspections and 100% audit compliance. Working on condition monitoring with Fluke vibration sensors that are excellent addition to our CMMS. Workload is captured/measured and adds value to our technicians performance and enables them to further develop and realise were we are falling behind. Senior Managers are impressed to have data presented to them and available when needed. Pros Ease of use, simple data importing strategy using excel, navigation, dashboards Cons You need to double-click on side tabs bar (ex. Dashboard, Assets) to select the items it's really annoying should be one click and to display my data list. It's good to have right click option on column to add new field (asset info, description or etc.) and drag columns to put them in preferred order instead arranging them in the window menu. Plant Manager Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Used the software for: 2+ years ### "So much functionality" August 20, 2018 5.0 Pros \-Endless customization to your needs -Adding work orders (or work order requests) is straightforward -User hierarchy is very useful for giving access levels throughout the organization -Web-based so you can access it anywhere -They will send trainers out to your site to teach you and your team how to set up and use the software -Can connect it to monitoring tools for easier data collection Cons The reports themselves can be quite difficult to set up. When I called customer service, they told me they'd rather set the reports up for the end users rather than trying to train people how to set up their own reports. October 18, 2016 5.0 We have implemented eMaint for fleet maintenance and then expanded the setup to include some compliance and purchasing options. While the base design is geared towards building and facility maintenance, it was very flexible, so adapting forms, adding tables, and building new data relationships was very quick. We also utilize some of their automation functions, such as workflows, triggered emails, and API calls to access/update data. The customer service team is absolutely awesome - whether by phone or by chat, they are very knowledgeable and nearly always able to correct the issue within minutes. Any escalation comes with constant communication and indepth calls to make sure the problem is fixed the first time. We really could not be happier with this solution! Pros Flexible solution, Great Customer Service, SaaS solution (web-based) Cons Limited Mobile Functionality - the newer interface is great for desktop or large tablet setups, but it does not render well on smaller or older tablet devices. Pros The best preventative maintenance system out there for the money for small businesses who need a way to track their assets and keep track of contracts and work orders! Once you understand the basics of how all of the subsystems (i.e. work orders, assets, inventory, scheduled activity, tasks, etc.) inter-relate and work together, navigating the system becomes second nature. Pros The entire process from demonstration to implementation has been phenomenal. Every person I have interacted with along the way have been friendly, courteous and knowledgeable with the Fluke eMaint system! The on sight kick off was definitely worth the cost! Cons The only thing that i feel could use a little tweaking is the mobel version of eMaint. I feel like it could be a little more user friendly (note: I primarily use the full desktop version). We have not had any major downtimes with their service and they are responsive to feedback. Some development takes long, especiall when they are working on new updates. Pros it is powerful and has a variety of features suitable for most maintenance or factory settings. Implementation process was quite well laid out and executed. Both eMaint and our own team work very well together to ensure the success of both parties. Response to questions and or needs whether out of the box functionality/features or custom have been well received and thoroughly thought out. Cons Streamline the WO process(s) for the end user and or management could use some refinement. July 15, 2017 1.0 Do your home work and buy a tool that works well. Pros This has a good database back end. It can track key assets and associated costs. It can track inventory, but not easily. Cons The work order forms has no logical flow. The graphical user interface is very slow and has major flaws. There are a lot of wasted steps. Data entry comes at a high cost in labor time. This tool is not able to directly import a file it just exported. The user forum web page need tech support help to join. Our sight had been stuck with this package for five years. We are a fairly new customer and so my experience is limited at this time. Pros I like the flexibility of the program. Just about anything is possible and X5 will be even better when we are ready to switch over. I like the look and organization of the program. Customer service is very helpful and responsive. The reporting functions are very flexible and useful. I like the flexibility with the user rights that can be based on the type of user role they are assigned or by the individual if special privileges are needed. Cons There are some pieces of the program that are hard to find. Part of the problem is that there are pieces of eMaint that still run on the X3 platform as well as X5. It will be great when everything runs off of X5. The mobile program is a little inflexible which is frustrating. Again, with X5 the mobile will also run on X5 which should be a huge improvement. Their support is top notch, and any problems we had were resolved very quickly! Pros The ability to customise forms is always there, and allows you to link many things together. Good way to keep track of work orders, and schedule preventative maintenance Cons The amount of customisation can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what you are doing. It is a bit convoluted for the basic user. If you are not database savvy, you can paint yourself into a corner quickly. Pros On the other side, the multitude of functions allows allotting of versatility. Cons Busy for the basic user. Its easy to get lost in the X3, X4 differences.
