All were professional and extremely helpful. We now have asset and parts inventory which we never had before. Pros The customer service was phenomenal! The software was easy to use and has a multitude of options. The integrated facility mapping is a bonus. Cons I can't think of any. This was not the cheapest of the 8 options we trialed but it was the best and offered the greatest options. Reason for choosing eMaint CMMS The scheduling portion offered us the ability to expand the use of the CMMS on our campus. October 20, 2016 4.0 We have moved all of our functions from separate spread sheets and databases to using eMaint X3 for a majority of our processes. This includes inventory, purchasing and maintenance. However, when we attempted to use the requisition system, there were quite a few road blocks. So many in fact we decided to go in a different direction. The system as a whole is great, but can be cumbersome for what should be simple operations. We are going into our 4th year of using eMaintenance, and hope that as new changes are made to the system, we can use all of the tools the system has to offer to help our productivity. Pros Availability of reports is helpful. The dashboard is great for monitoring a wide variety of functions. Can use the system for a variety of different functions across multiple departments. Cons No wizard for creating simple reports. The requisition and stock order functions could use some work. Review Source BL Brian L. The customer service representative, is always there for us, and the help desk is very helpful. Pros Great features, very customizable. The ability of the software to amtch your needs is fantastic! It is as in depth as you want it to be, or as simple as you need. Cons The setup can sometimes be cumbersome, but once it is setup, it runs great. One thing that was certainly a benifit was the fact we had the 1 week on-site Kick start. Pros The system was easy to setup and import all of our data. Cons Really nothing yet. Maybe as we get going something will popup. The link between assets, PMs and work orders is simple. The ability to navigate in and out of assets and work orders is quick and easy to learn and understand. Cons Dislike the inability to create usernames. The system must create them. Pros Completing a work order is simple for technicians Cons There is not a user manual. Everything is either a case study, blog, article or video. When contacting support they can only guide you to the blogs, articles, videos. The experts can't answer simple questions. I would steer clear unless you know how everything works in eMaint. You are able to set up all of your assets and then track WO history by type of service you have set up. You can see what parts have been used on any asset or narrow it down to a specific WO. Gives you control over costs and inventory control. You can scale it to the size that you want, from basic PM generation to full asset tracking and management. Pros Web based so it can be accessed anywhere you can get internet service. Great customer service and technical help when you need it. You can have a dedicated account manager for your account depending on your package choice. On-line help and tutorials to help you expand you knowledge base of the product and features of the software. Cons Web based if you have poor internet service. Review Source JK Jeremy K. Pros Easy to use, very customizable, can be as detailed or vague as you want it to be Cons Some of the reporting is not what I hoped for. Seems like when you call customer service for help with dashboards after the initial startup, your expected to be an expert and help with changed can be hard. Our Metalics group has been using this system for some time now with great success. We are transitioning from a different software into Emaint and using this system within our Fluids group. Pros Product is easy to use for all disciplines within our facility. Charting capability is great for tracking KOI's Cons Nothing at this time. Still a new system for our location. Here we receive about 1,500 request a month. Originally those were all handled by phone. Now we are receiving them online and by phone, relieving all of the office staffs time on the phone. I have since rolled the system out to several of our sites in other states. When all is said and done I will have this system in eleven states. Pros Easy learning curve.
