### "eMaint Features "

March 11, 2026

5.0

It’s a good system to work in. I have learned a lot about how the system works and what I can do to make it user friendly for others.

Pros

There are a lot of great features to work with. It’s easy to understand and teach others how to use this feature.

Cons

Would like to see what else is offered in X4. There are a lot of features that are hidden. I was able to find a lot by reading through the documentation.

Hi Victoria, Thank you for sharing your feedback. It’s good to hear that you’ve found many of the features straightforward to use and easy to teach to others. Clear usability is an important part of the system’s design. We also appreciate your note about X4 features being difficult to find. Your experience highlights the need for better visibility into available functionality so users don’t have to rely heavily on documentation to uncover what’s included. Thank you for sharing that the system has helped you learn more about configuration and how to make it user‑friendly for others. Your perspective is helpful as we continue improving the platform.

### "Good input"

March 10, 2026

5.0

I think the system has a lot of good information and can relate to my technicians what they need to know to do a proper PM on equipment and track it for MTTRNMTBF

Pros

Easy to use, these systems are very customizable. A lot of additional features can be added along with inventory part number storage.

Cons

A little complicated for regular maintenance tech. The system needs to talk to a purchasing system other than its own like sap or QAD.

### "X4 emaint cmms review "

March 11, 2026

Currently using x4, great CMMS with extreme flexibility when customizing what you need, very good fluke team that stands behind the product the only con is x4 servers can be slow sometimes

Pros

Extremely flexible when using the API to submit work orders and create dashboards, the workflows can be customized to fit virtually every need to organize and create seamless data transactions

Cons

The x4 servers can be slow, which creates issues, when multiple users logged into admin account the session is not isolated and you can run into collisions with other users

### "eMaint CMMS: A Data Tracking Powerhouse"

March 11, 2026

5.0

Overall eMaint CMMS has been a fantastic product that supports my company's needs. It goes above and beyond my company's requirements for tracking data trails and parts management as well as supporting the team in task and project management.

Pros

EMaint CMMS has excellent customizability in all fields plus the ability to add in features via workflows that are not currently native helps support the unique nuances to a specific industry. Additionally, it allows for custom prioritization of tasks for technicians through priority fields or custom fields.

Cons

The lack of some basic features on startup, such as cost analysis dashboards and connected sub-assets. While these features are easily configurable, they are fairly common in most industries and it would be beneficial to have some options for pre-built models that can be modified after the fact.

Hi Braeden, Thank you for sharing your feedback. It’s good to hear that the level of customization in eMaint — including configurable fields, workflows, and prioritization options — has supported the specific needs of your operation. That flexibility is intended to help teams adapt the system to their industry requirements. We also appreciate your comments about missing pre‑built features such as cost analysis dashboards and connected sub‑assets. Your input highlights areas where having more out‑of‑the‑box models could reduce setup time for new users. Thank you for noting that the system has been effective for data tracking, parts management, and task coordination. Your perspective is helpful as we continue improving the platform.

### "X5 - More than 20 years history in less than 5. "

March 9, 2026

5.0

We have used x5 for over 5 years and have collected more data on the equipment than we had in the previous 20 years. When we have access we are able to review the historical data to help us build critical spare parts, and find common failures that repeatedly occur. It is a great system.

Pros

Having the ability to track specific data associated with assets building or even areas within our facilities that can include pictorial data.

Cons

Managements control restrictions along with slow updating of the data. Parts data has not yet completely been restored.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re glad to hear that eMaint’s ability to track detailed, asset‑specific and location‑specific data — including pictorial information — has been valuable for your operations. It’s also wonderful to know you’ve been able to gather more equipment insights in five years than in the previous twenty. That kind of progress is exactly what eMaint is designed to support. We appreciate your honesty regarding management control restrictions and the slow updating of certain data, especially around parts information. We understand how important accurate inventory and timely updates are, and we’re committed to helping ensure your data is fully restored and functioning smoothly. Its a great tool that allows us to keep our operations running smoothly. We are scratching the surface on all its features.

Pros

Cons

### "Approachable with Limited Database Understanding"

March 11, 2026

4.0

Coming from running companies and wearing many hats, including maintenance technician and manager, knowing how databases like SAP and NetSuite work and are implemented greatly decreased the learning curve for eMaint and increased the rate of making meaningful and productive changes to an existing, mismanaged, system

Pros

Customer Support, amazing and friendly people that are invested in your success. For one-off requests, they get it done. For requests that will we be repeated they will figure out the needs, the solution, then when asked are incredibly invested in teaching the HOW and WHY so I get more understanding of the database.

Cons

X4 mobile and the customer support search bar, the support search bar function could be a lot better in finding resources for your version. Results are flooded with release notes that bury the walk throughs resulting in needing to chat with an agent more often and often leading to them finding the resource for us after the chat.

### "•“Great Tool for Maintenance and Asset Management"

March 11, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with eMaint CMMS has been positive. The platform provides a comprehensive set of tools that help streamline maintenance operations, manage assets, and track work orders efficiently. Its preventive maintenance scheduling and task management features help reduce downtime and ensure that maintenance activities are completed on time. The system also improves visibility by centralizing asset information, maintenance history, and reports in one place, making it easier for teams to access important data and make informed decisions. While there is a learning curve during the initial setup and configuration, the flexibility of the system allows organizations to customize workflows based on their operational needs. In addition, the availability of customer support and training resources helps users adapt to the platform more easily. Overall, eMaint CMMS is a reliable solution for organizations looking to improve maintenance planning, increase operational efficiency, and maintain better control over their assets and maintenance tasks.

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of eMaint CMMS is its strong security and reliability, which ensures that maintenance data and asset information remain protected and accessible only to authorized users. The platform also provides excellent value for money, offering a wide range of maintenance management tools without requiring expensive custom development.

Cons

While eMaint CMMS is a powerful platform, there are a few areas that could be improved. The user interface, although functional, can sometimes feel outdated and not as intuitive for new users. Navigating between modules or finding certain features may require additional training, especially for teams that are new to CMMS systems. Another challenge is the initial setup and customization. Because the system is highly configurable, setting up assets, workflows, and reports can take time and may require guidance from support or additional documentation. In terms of performance, some users may occasionally experience slower loading times when working with large datasets or complex reports. Additionally, while customer support is generally helpful, response times can sometimes vary depending on the complexity of the issue. Overall, these limitations do not outweigh the benefits of the platform, but improvements in interface design, faster performance, and simpler configuration would make the system even more user-friendly.

March 10, 2026

Overall I think it’s feasible, reliable, effective and makes my team and company function effectively and productivity. Great in having the know where, when, and how your technician are being efficient.

Pros

I like the most it’s a world of its own and can be created to any department specifications need for that area. Operation has data to show the up and down time on equipment. Engineers have a structure for SOP to be followed in precise order.

Cons

The creating of dashboards, however learn a new few easy steps to do them in the weeks conference, has put me in a better mindset. The mobile version but I just learn about the mobile app and will bring it back to the IT team to see if our IP can be fully protected to use. ### "Evan’s Review"

March 10, 2026

5.0

With it being my 3rd CMMS I have used, emaint is the most user friendly and configurable option and easiest to train on.

Pros

The configurability to be able to show the same information in multitude of ways. People learn differently, so allowing users the freedom to see information through various export options is vital. Also, it is extremely easy to manage PM work orders including assignments, tasks, and all personnel records to ensure the system is true. The support team at emaint is fantastic. If there are ever any issues/delays, it is very easy to get ahold of proper contact.

Cons

Overall, it has been good. There is a learning curve to a software system especially switching from X4 to X5. A lot of the programmable options like custom expression require some background in coding or logic

### "Easy Navigation, Outstanding Support, Preventative Maintenance vs Reactive Maintenance "

March 10, 2026

4.0

Our company was rather timid to begin. At least our plant. The tech’s didn’t understand, they didn’t like the change. From management perspective, being able to track pm’s, being able to look at preventative maintenance instead of chasing the fire has been a relief! Focusing on the health of an asset and even the costs, the system has paid for itself. In the background, it even weeded out some technicians that weren’t performing pm’s correctly and stealing company time.

Pros

The system can easily be navigated, information is easily accessible and amazing support offered. The interface is self explanatory or easy to figure out where you should be and steps are laid out very well. If there’s any questions, the support page is an outstanding source for help, eMaint university has useful information and our cms can be noted as a reason for success.

Cons

Very little within the system itself. My issue would be from the admin down and lack of communication

### "A flexible and customizable CMMS"

November 17, 2025

We have been thoroughly impressed with the customer service provided. The team has been outstanding in supporting any requests and issues we have, addressing them promptly and efficiently. The high level of technical support offered at little to no cost, such as assistance with setting up APIs with other programs, has been invaluable to us.

Pros

We love the flexibility that the X4 system offers. It's fantastic that as long as one knows the back end of the system, all configurations and administrative tasks can be performed without needing to contact Emaint or a third party directly.

Cons

It would be great if the reporting functions output was more flexible, allowing for more customized reports. Additionally, having conditional logic built within the form templates would significantly enhance our workflow. Another feature that would be highly beneficial is the ability to drag and drop attachments directly into the system. Lastly, we feel that MX Mobile could use an upgrade to match the efficiency of the other components.

September 30, 2025

4.0

My overall experience with using eMaint has been great. I am currently working on plans to integrate from X4 to X5 enterprise and looking forward to the added functionality and new interface.

Useful for inventory and work order management, even without internet access

### "Overall eMaint Review from a Pharma Company"

March 11, 2026

5.0

As someone who has implemented a CMMS before this process was easy. The CSM and implementation specialists work with you at every step of the way. While some times I felt they did not have the expertise I needed for a highly regulated company, once we met and went through iterations of what we were trying to achieve we got to the correct solutions. The training is great and the hands on experience you get there is priceless.

Pros

The eMaint CMMS is highly configurable, priced reasonably or even better than other competitors for what you get, and is easy to use for forecasted work orders and continuous improvement on your maintenence program.

Cons

During our implementation we have struggled with the workflows for approvals. In my industry there are a lot of regulations and quality oversight is mandatory. Only having status of open, complete, and closed made it difficult for my team to get on board with the approval process workflow.

### "Emaint X4 wins over other CMMS platforms!"

March 10, 2026

5.0

The overall experience with Emaint X4 product has been enjoyable. There was a learning curve when transitioning from another CMMS platform, however, the platform is friendly to the average user.

Pros

I have worked through multiple CMMS platforms and I really enjoy being able to use one platform for tracking equipment, pms, inventory, and daily tasks. The platform offers everything that the maintenance departments needs at a price point that makes sense to accounting.

Cons

Working with the X4 platform has not had many cons at this point. One thing that I would like to change is the way images show on printed documents. The file formatting has not converted well to printed documents.

### "X5 is worth it 100%"

March 10, 2026

5.0

It has been a wonderful experience all together after implementation into x5. X4 was very limited to organization and capabilities compared to what we were showed in X5. And expectations are very well worth the wait.

Pros

I love the application for emaint mobile. The ease of the application has helped as a technician. I cant wait for the further advancement with AI to take place.

Cons

The transition from x4 to x5 was very difficult. But our implementation rep and our customer succession planner Carlos has been the reason why will never leave emaint.

### "Emaint review "

March 9, 2026

4.0

Our team Uses it for a lot of our work documentation beyond just pms and general requests. It’s been great for history records and having information needed for audits

Pros

The flexibility to make it fit to your teams needs with specific/own fields and forms and not just defaults. Also able to modify view

Cons

A lot of back and forth into different “tables or references and entities” to build out a single form.

Giving teams the power to adapt the system to their exact workflows is one of our core goals, so it’s great to know that capability is supporting your success. ### "Review of eMaint"

October 9, 2025

4.0

eMaint is a very good tool, with lots of opportunities. It can be quite daunting with all the new features that appear, but am glad that eMaint is proactively updating the system. Would appreciate more examples of coding custom expressions and giving examples. For example, some easy things that are done in excel, are a bit tricky to make happen in eMaint. An example would be a scoring table based on an answer in a reference table.

Pros

eMaint is very malleable and helps us make the program look how we want. We also find the mobile tool very helpful in delivering a sustainable approach - which supports efficiency.

Cons

\-Single Workorder multiple asset setup needs alot of improvement. -Assets don't import per excel sheet, causing the structure to be skewed in Asset Trees -If customer support chat cannot help solve, it can take quite a while to get feedback. I would appreciate an easier path to the more advanced implementation specialists

### "Wins with E-maint"

March 11, 2026

5.0

It’s been a great dollar around experience. We have seen that we have gotten in front of many problems since we have the ability to go back and look at the things that keep happening over and over.

Pros

The ability to document all the maintenance we do in particular assets, not having to go back through pieces of paper or different files to pull that maintenance and know what we did

Cons

Having to run Internet or broadband throughout the plant, so the guys could do their inspections with their tablets in the field

Hi Miles, Thank you for sharing your feedback. It’s good to hear that consolidating maintenance records for each asset has been useful and has removed the need to search through paper files or scattered documents. Having that information organized in one place is a key benefit of the system. We also appreciate your note about extending internet or broadband coverage to support field inspections on tablets. Connectivity requirements can be a challenge in large plant environments, and your comment highlights that dependency clearly. Thank you as well for sharing the positive impact you’ve seen in identifying recurring issues and getting ahead of problems. Your experience provides helpful insight into how the platform supports long‑term maintenance visibility.
