Our overall experience has been pretty good I would have to say. Seems like the eMaint Customer Success is something they strive for as a company. They want you to help you succeed with the CMMS and tailor it to fit you company's needs.

Pros

Compared to Maximo, which we used for 13+ years the associated cost is way more affordable. Also, our CSM is a great communicator as well as a get it done type of person. Willing to try and help however possible to resolve your issues.

Cons

The worst thing for us as a group is the future work orders and how they work with workflow rules. They just need to generate to open status with regards to lead-time days/ projection length. Sometimes the rules seem to get confused and when they do populate from future to open some of the fields may not be filled in thus requiring some effort to get those corrected. Also, you need to be able to put a due date of your choice in when building the PM. You should not have to write a workflow rule to make it have a due date at the end of the month.

The annual re-occurring cost of Maximo vs eMaint was a key factor. eMaint was more affordable for our company size and structure.

We as a company of 120+ reviewed several CMMS programs when trying to make a decision of whether or not to retain Maximo or jump ship to a new platform. At the end of the day, eMaint was to most functional and cost-effective solution for us. It gives the end user many tools to configure the CMMS to their liking and business expectations.

Overall my experience with E-maintenance is exceptional. The team has worked with me to modify our accounts to fit our specific needs. Our CSM is always touching base to see if there is more that they able to do to assist our needs. Hopefully our team decides to move to X5. I llok forward to working with the team in the future.

Pros

I find the system easy to navigate and to editable to our companies need. I have the ability to adjust all the forms and criteria to meet the standards that are needed for our procedures.

Cons

I believe this is a con just because we are still using X4, but i would say that my biggest problem with with the system is that as a admin i have to consistently adjust licensing for users via email chains whenever my operations team members move sites or are then positioned over multiple sites. I think once a user is added to the system that i should be able to just allow them to see what is needed.

eMaint has proven to be a highly valued collaborator and an indispensable tool for our maintenance department. Their level of support has been exceptional, from the dedicated assistance provided by \[sensitive content hidden\] to the responsiveness of their technical support team, who have consistently helped with reporting and system customizations.

Pros

Delivers an intuitive user experience while maintaining a robust feature set - PM scheduling, Inventory management, and detailed reporting.

Cons

Subscription model (billing) + legacy support. The payment model is subjective but maybe offering a standalone executable with one limited support could be a viable option. Especially considering some customer may only need local access and prefer the legacy interface.

I like the general ease of using the platform and the responsiveness when an issue arises. I like that a library of reports was set up for me to draw from.

I wish the platform was more education focused and that there was a way to set up folders to store old work orders and other data.

We have been partnered with eMaint since 2019, and the service, relationship, and product has exceeded our expectations.

Pros

Its is customizable to meet our industries needs and workflows. We are able to get all of the information we need for asset reliability and management with the fewest keystrokes and ease.

Cons

While the end users and day to day technicians' screens are easily set up to be simple and error proof, to be an effective administrator of the system require bootcamps and hours of training.

I have not had much experience with other CMMS so don't have a lot to compare it to but I think the software works really well for us. It seems it has a lot of extra functions we don't even take full advantage of currently. Our maintenance team is pretty understaffed but once we hire a larger team, we can hopefully utilize the system even more and learn more about other features, such as all the reporting

Pros

I like the addition of the scheduler. We have some work to do on our end to fully utilize it but this could be a good addition to get our maintenance completed on time

Cons

Not really a critique of the software itself, but the whole migration and learning a new system can be tricky in the middle of running a manufacturing operation

The experience has been will worth the investment for the past 11 years. Eventually the X5 switch will be worth more.

Pros

The system is easily compatible to our needs, awesome customization and the Emaint support team is always helpful and response times are great.

Cons

Ai help is only available on X5 version. The Excelerate Conference needs to move back to Florida area.

Pros

Easy to customize and navigate. Side menu is very helpful to see related entities, documents, etc. Scheduler 2.0 is great, easy to use. Flexibility of SWO maintenance types is an excellent addition. Document and pic upload is much better than x4 and actually pleasant to do. Global search is instrumental.

Cons

I'd like to see some mobile licenses included with the x5 subscription. x5 is missing a way to enforce naming conventions that should be added in where at either shared or site-specific level, rules for naming schema can be created an enforced. It is also missing a built-in workflow for approvals of when new items/entities are created. Could be based on user roles and permissions.

X4 was a slow learn for me, but the Support team worked with me to bring it to where we needed it to be. They earned my trust - can ask them to do simple tasks to complex system transformations.

Pros

Flexible - timely - competent. The responsive Support team, from instantaneous chat support to Customer Success Manager - all are competent, solutions oriented & timely in their response - our CSM good at bringing needed resources in the organization together to answer questions. They have mitigated any difficulties/streamlined any solutions needed when using X4 and have helped us chart an achievable path to upgrading to X5.

Cons

Only a couple of instances where CSM contacts were not available & had no forwarding contact for urgent requests. That hasn't happened in the past 4 months.

By far the best program I've used for CMMS, especially when it comes to data tracking, accountability, and being able to stay very customizable.

Pros

The user interface is much cleaner than most that I'm familiar with, making it easier for both users and administrators

Cons

The biggest con is the amount of work that still needs to be done to the base architecture that is scheduled for release in the future. With how long X5 has been in development, it seems like the program should be a little further along.
