## What is OnCrew?

OnCrew is an AI answering service built for home-service contractors: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing. A conversational AI receptionist answers inbound calls in about two rings, 24/7, greets callers by business name, and runs trade-specific intake: name, callback number, service address, what is broken, and how urgent it is. Emergency triage flags urgent jobs like a flooding basement or a burning smell and alerts the owner right away; routine requests are captured for normal follow-up. After each call the owner receives an email with a short summary, the full transcript, and a recording, so they can call back with context. Setup takes minutes: sign up, describe the business, and forward an existing line to the dedicated number, or use the new number directly. Robocalls and solicitors are screened politely. A Google Calendar connection is available. Plans start at $49 per month with a 14-day free trial; each plan includes a monthly call allowance with $0.99 per additional call.
