Lab is a browser-based platform offering hands-on training in server hardening, Linux security, and web application deployment using isolated virtual machines. Each learner gets an isolated Hetzner Cloud VM with external firewall protection for secure sessions. Modules include SSH hardening, UFW, fail2ban, nginx, TLS, Docker, HTTPS deployment, and basics such as Linux commands, HTML, Python, Git, and SQL. An automated validator provides instant feedback on tasks. Security measures detect and terminate suspicious activities such as crypto mining to ensure platform integrity. Sessions are managed via a web interface or CLI with role-based access controls. GDPR-compliant, the platform requires parental consent for users under 16, supports one-click account deletion, and hosts TLS-encrypted data in Germany without tracking unless explicitly consented.
