We used the platforms' own reporting channels and we involved the authorities. Neither stopped it. Content would come down and reappear, which is the worst outcome because it consumes attention without solving anything. Revelum ran a one-month engagement and ended the campaign at the source. In our business, impersonation of the CEO is not a reputation issue, it is a fraud vector aimed at clients moving money. Closing it mattered well beyond the takedown count. Four months on, nothing has come back. Pros They went after the infrastructure producing the deepfakes, not just the visible content. That is the difference between a takedown and a fix, and it is why the problem stopped instead of repeating. 55 deepfakes removed in a one-month engagement, and nothing has resurfaced since 21 May. There is effectively no learning curve. We handed over the case and they ran it. No dashboard to master, no internal process to build, no headcount pulled off other work. For a company our size that matters as much as the result itself. Support was responsive throughout and did not need chasing. They also handled sensitive material about our executives and our brand with the discretion you would expect in financial services. Cons Nothing to report.
