Our overall experience with Dentomation has been positive. It helps organise the practice better and gives the team better visibility across appointments, patients, tasks, compliance, staff and communication. The AI automation is useful for reducing manual admin and keeping patient contact more consistent. It feels like a modern system made for UK dental practices, especially for teams wanting to replace several separate tools with one connected platform.

Pros

Dentomation brings the main parts of the practice into one place. The diary, patient management, communication, compliance, HR and reporting are all connected, so the team does not need to move between different systems. I liked the AI automation for reception, calls, emails and reminders, as it helps reduce admin work and missed enquiries. The interface is clear and the platform feels built around how a dental practice works day to day.

Cons

As with any full practice management system, the team needs some training at the start. There are a lot of features, so it takes time to understand the full workflow. Some areas could benefit from more onboarding videos and step by step guides for new users.

We moved from CareStack, VoiceStack and Boxly because we wanted one connected system rather than using separate tools for practice management, voice automation and patient communication. Dentomation gave us the main workflows in one place, including diary, patient management, communication, automation, compliance, HR and reporting. It also reduced the need to manage different logins, separate systems and extra integrations. The AI automation was a big reason for the switch, as it supports reception, calls, reminders, emails and patient follow up inside the same platform.
