It writes great quality code for the most part, but is an amazing research assistant as well. Pros Claude is one of the best AI coding agents available. It's extremely helpful to do full research of the code base, the product, the designs, and the goals prior to implementation. It's not just a good coder, it's an excellent assistant that also writes code. Cons Token usage. It's very heavy on token usage, but I use specific skills to keep token usage down. Sometimes Claude will get lost or forget certain things, and I need to remind it where we are. Claude is not the best frontend engineer and has trouble with visual design.
