Aminova Health

## What is Aminova Health?

Aminova runs the whole practice, not just the chart. The day is on one screen: who's arriving, waiting, in a room or done, and what's been collected so far. Online booking only offers times when the right provider and room are free, and reminders, refill nudges and aftercare go out on their own. Checkout is one tap: card on file, tap-to-pay terminals, pay links, deposits and automatic receipts, with Stripe, Square or PayBright (the high-risk processor we recommend for peptides and GLP-1s). Memberships and packages bill themselves, overdue balances get a one-click reminder, and reports show revenue, recurring revenue, no-shows, rebooking and commission by team member. Intake forms, e-consents, inventory, messaging and a patient app are built in. Built for cash-pay hormone, weight loss, peptide, longevity and med spa practices. $199/month with one prescriber, unlimited staff.

As someone who works with multiple platforms in the health tech space, and EHRs. Working with the Aminova team has been a genuinely positive experience. Their communication makes a real difference when you’re transitioning to a new system, and they’ve been patient and supportive throughout our entire onboarding. We’re so glad we chose them and relieved that everything we expected has superseded our expectations... which is rare to say for any tool.

Pros

The team’s responsiveness. From the very first onboarding call, they took the time to walk us through the platform clearly and answered every question we brought, including the ones we came back with later. Whenever we had a question during setup, they were quick to help and always upfront about next steps. The platform itself is thoughtfully built, and it’s clear they care about getting their clients up and running well. \[sensitive content hidden\] is amazing!

Cons

As with any new platform, there’s a learning curve while you set things up to fit your own workflows. That said, the team’s support made it much easier to work through. Additionally, since we started there is now an entire university of resources and ai that supports us incredibly well!

Healthie was not meeting the flexibility we needed with patient care, especially for this client who is in all 50states and the concierge medicine / GLP-1 & Peptide space.

Choosing Aminova Health was one of the best decisions I made in launching NORRENNE. As a solo NP founded practice, I don't have an IT department, so the people behind the software matter as much as the software itself. Aminova's team has been incredibly hands on from day one. Every question, issue and hiccup I've brought to them has been met with a fast, thoughtful response, and they genuinely listen to provider feedback. I can see the platform improving day after day. It feels less like buying software and more like having a partner invested in my practice's success.

Pros

I evaluated several EMR and practice management platforms (OptiMantra, Prospyr, Boulevard, Dr. Chrono, PatientNow and others) before choosing Aminova for NORRENNE, my NP led aesthetic, hormone, weight-management and wellness practice. As a solo practitioner, I needed one system that could handle charting, scheduling and the business side without juggling five tools. Aminova delivered, and the team behind it has been the real difference. They're responsive, they actually listen to provider feedback, and the platform improves visibly everyday. Pros: \*Built for the clinics I run - aesthetics, hormones, peptides and weight management all fit naturally \*Customizable note templates with named sections and starting text make charting fast and consistent \*QuickBooks Online integration keeps my clinical and financial sides in sync \*Support is personal; questions get real answers quickly from people who care \*Constant improvements - you can tell the site is constantly improving

Cons

Because the platform evolves so quickly, there's occasionally a new feature to learn, which is a good problem to have.

Reasons for choosing Aminova Health

More user friendly and ease of setting the system up. The best part has been the customer service. At my previous practice, it was challenging to have someone contact us to fix a problem with the software; with Aminova I simply send them an email and I hear back with either a fix to the program or an explanation on how to do the task I am having issues with. No more waiting around for help. It has been incredible.

This has been the most amazing switch. I've used multiple EHRs, and none of them came close to this experience. I run a cash-pay functional, regenerative, and longevity practice in Dallas with hormones, weight loss, aesthetics, labs, and direct primary care under one roof, and Aminova handles all of it. If something isn't built in yet, you can ask \[sensitive content hidden\] and he'll help you figure out how to make it work or try to integrate it. He has literally saved my life during this setup. I'm so glad I switched.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] Every time I've had an issue, I've emailed him and he's fixed it almost immediately. When I want to add something, he tells me up front whether it's a quick change or something that will take a while, and I appreciate that honesty more than I can say. I can send him a list of what I need and he answers every single bullet point and shows me how to do each one. Beyond the support, everything I need is inside the system. Each service carries its own intake and consent, memberships bill on schedule, prepaid series count down session by session, and patients book straight from my website. It looks great on my end. And my patients tell me it looks great on theirs too.

Cons

There's a learning curve. I work a lot and set everything up on my own, so building recurring programs as memberships, spacing out my PDF forms for the signature and checkbox overlays, and learning which settings to skip all took time. But this is a newer system, so you will run into things that need fixing. Bring them to \[sensitive content hidden\]. He will do everything in his power to fix whatever you need, and he usually does it fast.

Switched from

[OptiMantra](https://www.capterra.com/p/159365/OptiMantra/)

I wanted one system that ran my whole cash-pay practice. Booking, intake, consents, memberships, and billing all needed to live in the same place and talk to each other. I compared Aminova against Cerbo, and Aminova's customer service won during the demo. That held up after I signed. \[sensitive content hidden\] answers every question, tells me honestly what's quick and what will take time, and fixes issues almost immediately. I've used multiple EHRs, and this has been the best switch I've made.

Alternatives considered

[Cerbo](https://www.capterra.com/p/211395/Cerbo/)

Reasons for choosing Aminova Health

I looked hard at Cerbo. But Aminova's customer service stood out from the very first demo, and that turned out to be exactly what I'd get after signing. \[sensitive content hidden\] answers every question I send, tells me honestly what's quick and what will take time, and fixes issues almost immediately. When you're building out a practice largely on your own, that kind of support decides it.
