## What is git & fit?

git & fit is a VS Code extension promoting exercise breaks after meaningful code commits. It monitors the git log and triggers notifications for significant changes, like modifying multiple files or adding substantial lines. By default, it activates after five files and two hundred lines are changed, with a sixty-minute cooldown to prevent frequent alerts. Notifications offer three choices: Do it, Snooze, or Skip. Selecting Do it starts a three to five-minute exercise routine in the editor, including strength training, stretching, and posture correction. Exercises last about thirty seconds and adjust intensity based on sprint phases. The extension works offline, storing data locally. Teams can share a .gitnfit.json file for consistent thresholds and preferences. Accessibility features include keyboard shortcuts, screen reader support, and injury-aware profiles. Open source under the MIT license, it fosters healthier coding habits.
