## What is Xtract for Alteryx?

Xtract for Alteryx is SAP connector software enabling seamless data integration between SAP systems and Alteryx Designer via a drag-and-drop interface. Integrated into the Alteryx tool palette, it provides access to SAP data without coding expertise and supports SAP ERP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, HANA, and BW/4HANA systems, including tables, InfoCubes, BAPIs, DataSources, CDS views, and reports. Optimized for large datasets, Xtract features high-performance extraction, parallel processing, and incremental updates to reduce transfer times and resource usage. The Table CDC component captures data changes since the last load, while DeltaQ and ODP components enable incremental extraction with minimal SAP system modifications. The BW Cube component supports OLAP BAPI and BICS interfaces. With metadata support, type safety, and filters, Xtract enables dynamic workflows. Configuration is handled through Alteryx Data Connection Manager or the tool interface, eliminating manual exports or conversions.
