## What is Xtract Universal?

Xtract Universal is a data integration platform that automates SAP data extraction and transfer to databases, cloud storage, and BI tools. Operating independently of ETL or data warehouses, it integrates seamlessly into any data strategy. Specialized components handle various SAP data sources. BW Cube extracts from SAP BW objects, Table enables high-performance SAP table extraction with Open SQL joins, and Table CDC supports incremental loading by capturing changes since the last extraction. Other components include BAPI for remote function calls, Query for SAP ERP queries, Reports for ABAP reports, and DeltaQ/ODP for DataSources and CDS views. The Hierarchy component extracts SAP BW hierarchies in parent/child or flattened formats. Configuration is code-free via the Xtract Universal Designer, supporting multiple targets like SQL Server, Amazon S3, Snowflake, and Power BI. A Usage Statistics Dashboard provides insights into performance, enabling process optimization.
