## What is WebSage?

WebSage is an AI customer support platform that automates website inquiries, appointment management, and escalation to human agents. The platform learns from web pages, FAQs, PDFs, and other content to deliver responses with source citations. Visitors can book, reschedule, and confirm appointments within the chat interface, with all bookings appearing in a dashboard. The system detects and responds in six European languages during customer interactions. Installation requires one line of embed code for WordPress, Shopify, HTML sites, and similar platforms. When the AI cannot confidently answer a question, it transfers the conversation to a human agent with the complete chat history attached. WebSage encrypts data in transit and at rest, hosts information on EU infrastructure, and maintains GDPR compliance. The platform does not use customer data to train external AI models. Organizations retain the ability to export or delete their data at any time.
