Data entry can be tedious. Once setup up is situated the results are great! A great Company Management Software from time sheets to taxes. Pros electronic time sheets, Project Detail reports, billing, client/Vendor/ contact database, marketing/ proposal tracking. Reports are fabulous. Payroll/ HR, hyperlinks, did I mention reporting. Can easily learn to use the software in a day. Cons Sometimes the application would freeze but closing browser and re-opening would work. Would not work properly on certain web browsers. Cons Nobody enjoys doing expenses, and Maconomy unfortunately doesn't make it much easier. It's not very intuitive and can be slow, but it gets the job done (may take a while though). August 9, 2017 3.0 Pros Deltek is very user friendly and very easy to use. I love that you can download almost any report as a word doc, excel doc or PDF. Cons I feel like there are so many steps in posting transactions and cutting checks. Extensive training is not needed. Very well built especially for government contracting company Cons There are no cons really. Easy software to use once you understand it. Cons If the correct engagement number is not used at the beginning you will need to void the expense report instead of correcting the error. Cons Every single action takes about 10 seconds of lag time before you can move to the next task. Just toggling between tabs brings up an icon where you have to wait 5-10 seconds. Speaking of tabs, there are so many tabs and panels and screens that finding exactly what you need is like looking for a needle in a haystack at times. The way our system is configured makes data entry and retrieval a very arduous and painful process. This is a platform that is highly prone to user-error, it takes forever to actually get it to work, and it is not user-friendly whatsoever. Review Source CF Chris F.
