Pros

The Onboarding staff were all so friendly and helpful, they actually made it fun. Now that I'm up and running, OwnerRez is wonderful. It make managing my properties effortless. I'm impressed with how efficient the employees and tools. Hip hip hooray so happy picked the righ Property Management System!!!

Cons

So much to offer yet a little scary to get started. The onboarding team made the process easy and got back immediately when needed.

We used OwnerRez for five years and it completely transformed how we managed our rental. From booking management to guest communication, financial syncing, and payment processing, everything worked seamlessly. It gave us peace of mind knowing we had a reliable, all-in-one system with outstanding support behind it. OwnerRez allowed us to focus less on admin and more on giving our guests a great experience.

Pros

Everything about the platform is top-notch. The API integrations with Vrbo, Airbnb, and Booking.com were seamless, and syncing with QuickBooks kept our financials clean. Their CRM, automated guest communications, renter agreements, credit card processing, and website development tools made running our Outer Banks STR smooth and professional. The customer service team was always fast, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.

Cons

Honestly, nothing significant. Like any robust platform, there’s a learning curve at the beginning, but once you’re up and running, it’s extremely intuitive.

The system works that it is important and their pricing it is competitive something that I appreciate but the system needs a lot of improvement

Cons

I would love to get hear by OwnerRez. We have problems because we can't get response from customer support. They are telling us that the problem is our something that it is not and every time we need something we got no answer. I would like to SPEAK with them but they don't even provide a phone number to users ( you can imagine) , also many promised things are not complete . I would like to tell all of this directly to them but it is impossible. Maybe once you put this kind of " reviews" they can hear you

Pros

Their software is so customizable you can make it do anything. Their customer service is how future customer service will be conducted. They are way ahead of their time in everything.

Cons

Their program is a little less user friendly when you first start using it but once you get the hang of it, it's so powerful.

With such terrific support and a terrific product I would say its been terrific. \[sensitive content hidden\] encouraged me to just take one step at a time..... so i am trying to do that. \[sensitive content hidden\] was so patient and walked me through everything so it was set up well. It is very rare to find this based on my experiences!

Pros

After trying a year with Lodgify and a few months with Hospitable I was ready to skip PMS's all together. OR thinks of everything! There is a lot to know but the support is so helpful and encouraging unlike any of the others i worked with! ALso, it is less expensive!

Cons

The amount of information to learn~ the capabilities are so incredible but its overwhelming to learn it all.

It has been a fantastic experience! I love everything that you can do with this system - down to the smallest detail! I appreciate the hand holding while users are getting up to speed on each specific area throughout the site. Its a genius tool and its worth every penny!

Pros

OwnerRez is such a fantastic system that streamlines and makes my job so much easier. The staff support is the best I have seen! When I ask questions or need assistance they are always so quick to respond and help! Even after a few messages back and forth they are still so kind and gracious while I am learning and trying to understand the process! Every single host has gone above and beyond to help me through this adjustment!

Cons

I wish there was a phone app for this site - I do feel like I need to lean on the Airbnb/VRBO notifications in order to stay up on the guest communications - I don't want to miss anything so until I can make sure it's all covered then I cannot full let go of the other platforms!

My overall experience has been great. Now that the growing pains are mostly behind me I am able to manage my listings.

Pros

I love that it’s very robust and has a ton of features that many other PMS systems do not. They also integrate in with more than any other PMS.

Cons

The worst thing about OwnerRez is the learning curve. It was extremely difficult getting started with them. Even though they did offer one on one training. It took me a few of them and many hours to get the hang of it.

The onboarding was thorough. Even when I wanted to rush forward with making it live \[sensitive content hidden\] made sure we took the time to make sure everything was implemented correctly.

Pros

I'm relatively new to the software. It appears to me to be very robust and have received comments when integrating with other software that it is very quick. It's a solid foundation for my business and with 3rd party apps I've been able to streamline my business to remain competitive.

Cons

This isn't a critique of OwnerRez as so much as Booking.com. I'm looking forward to OwnerRez mastering pushing data into Booking.com. At the same time I understand Booking.com doesn't make it easy.

I highly recommend OwnerRez to people when given the opportunity, as it has helped streamline and automate our business. Also, you are able to run a wide variety of reports.

Pros

Excellent and customizable product and functions for managing our STR. If I ever have a question or a need, their tech support is stellar. They are patient and thorough. There is a setting for automatic good reviews and delayed reviews, which can be helpful if you've had a problem guest. It syncs well with Airbnb and other platforms, so you can manage your listing from one place. Also, you can have a dedicated website through them, as well as integrate your smart locks and send custom lock codes to your guests.

Cons

I have not experienced any cons in the 2-3 years I've used OwnerRez. It takes a while to learn everything, but that's because there is so much you can do with it.

What really stands out? The ongoing training and webinars. OwnerRez wants you to succeed — they invest in your understanding of the platform so you can squeeze every drop of value from it. If you're serious about running your STR business like a business, and not just a side hustle, OwnerRez gives you the tools, support, and control to do it.

Pros

OwnerRez offers monthly webinars and Q&A. I try to attend as many of these as possible to learn more about the many features available. I love OwnerRez, but I'm sure there are SO many features I haven't begun to take advantage of.

Cons

I am not sure why you REQUIRE a con... OwnerRez is incredible. It might not be as "pretty" as other options, but the functionality is amazing.

From initial setup to ongoing maintenance and customer support, OwnerRez has truly allowed us to be successful in our first STR. I think the OwnerRez staff and support team is probably their greatest strength. Whenever I ask a question, not only do they answer the question thoroughly but also take the time to review my listing and preferences to give specific insight and suggestions on adjustments I can make to address my problem/question. This takes extra time on their end, but is why their product is so good.

Pros

The quality of OwnerRez is top notch. All functionality seems to work flawlessly, and if there are any questions the support team is quick to respond and gives thorough feedback.

Cons

I would love to see additional functionality and customization options with the hosted websites.

Just starting with two properties to get oriented. I will be adding another six. It is still too early in my experience but so far I am impressed.

Pros

Comprehensive solution to managing multiple property integrations with multiple channels. Excellent integrations with other 3rd party solutions; e.g. automatic code generation & management ofschlage Encode locks, dynamic pricing platforms (I use Beyond), etc. Excellent tutorials and education; I was particularly impressed with the 1.5 hours they spend on a video call to orient me and jump start onboarding. The rep was very knowledgeable.

Cons

There is a lot of work to prep the listings for communication with the various listing channels (API.) I suspect that is just the way it is with any platform. OwnerRez seems powerful and as with anything like this, there is a learning curve to become proficient and efficient. I would like to have option for additional one-on-one tutorials.

OwnerRez platform is a great tool for individuals who want to manage their own property! The support team is friendly and very knowledgable regarding their platform and VRBO/Airbnb platforms. There are plenty of help tutorials and instructions to assist in building your site. If you are a newcomer to property management - I highly recommend ProConnect.

There is nothing at this point that I least like regarding OwnerRez

Fantastic! Definitely the best channel manageement system end-to-end with a superlative support team.

Pros

Effectively managing a short term rental is complicated. I did a lot of research and even tried another channel management system before settling on OwnerRez. It's a very powerful platform for not only channel management but, through its best-of-breed integrations, facilitating every aspect of your SRT business. Most importantly, they provide the best support I have encountered for any software product -- full stop. Beyond extensive online support, they are behind you every step of the way with insightful answers and suggestions that that make it clear you are dealing with a team with deep knowledge of and passion for the STR business.

Cons

There is nothing not to like. As with any business software, you get out of it what you put in, but the effort will pay dividends if you are serious about optimizing your STRs.

Owner Rez has far exceeded my expectations. I've onboarded with many different companies for different business solutions and this was hands-down the best experience I've ever had on a product I was very green with to start.

Pros

The onboarding experience was incredible. I was shocked at not only the functionality that it offered, but how quickly \[sensitive content hidden\] was able to teach me to navigate everything. She was thorough, and she took ALL the notes for me and gave me step-by-step instructions for each thing I needed after the call to set things up exactly how I want them. It was nice to be able to focus fully on learning the system since she was tracking all my action-items for me.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind, I am so sure I made the right choice!
