Treasurer Religious Institutions Used the software for: 2+ years ### "EasyWorship - A Great Worship Tool" April 6, 2026 5.0 I've been using EasyWorship for many years and one of things that I find helpful is when I do have an issue with the software that I'm able to go to EasyWorship and create a support ticket and know that I'm going to receive a response within a good time frame and that they work with me until the issue/concern has been resolved. I recently worked with \[sensitive content hidden\] who was great in helping me. Pros EasyWorship is very user friendly and makes scheduling your service easy. It allows you to move things around in the schedule, you can add notes that help when ordering the service and being able to look at your order at a glance. You can easily navigate back and forth on slide during the preview of things that are ready for "Go Live". Cons I would like to be able to move things that are in either media or images into collection folders and once you've done that they don't remain in the general video or image folders. March 12, 2026 5.0 What I like most about EasyWorship is its ability to put videos with slides with announcements of what’s going on at church and the ability to promote activities or events in all the ministries and age groups. Pros Their customer service! My personal laptop is a Mac. The lap top in our media room is a Windows. I love Easyworship’s remote capability to come on your screen and show you (let me watch) how to resolve my problem. Cons I would say it’s not offered on Mac used to be what I liked least. However, I learned on a customer service call they have began testing the waters with a Mac version. I only bought a new Windows operated laptop just to be able to invest in Easyworship. Technical team lead Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Good Price, good features but signifiant problems " December 9, 2018 3.0 I've been using this software since Dec 2014. Then, the version was "Easy Worship 2009". It was a great product at a great price. But EW redesigned the product to add more features, called it "Easy Worship 6". It was full of bugs and lacked many features many people loved in EW2009, "checking for changes" and basic "copy/paste/undo" commands. The new features of EW6 was the creation of "themes". Nice, but not necessary. I endured EW6 and the many patches. It became stable in Dec 2017 and they brought back "check for changes". However, in late 2017, they decided to make the product subscription based. We decided to go with an annual subscription in June 2018. The product has been working great, allowing me to mix PowerPoint, EW7 created choruses, scripture, video and even web pages. Then sometime betw 11/24/18 and 12/01/18, the product stopped working. EW7 believed I was not an active subscriber even after both EW staff and myself verified our registration. Support was not very helpful. They asked the standard questions - did you receive an update from Windows or any other product? Can you restore your computer to a point in time when EW7 was working? Seriously? Finally, support pushed a beta copy of the next release to me and EW7 worked again. 3 days later, the same problem re-occurred. It has not been resolved. Pros 1\. It was the most feature-rich product for the price. Now, the product has too many bugs to consider it "reasonably priced". 2. I liked the "check for changes" options as it allows multiple people to contribute to a worship schedule. However, you have to manually start it. It used to be automatic. 3. I like how you can import PowerPoint presentations with all the basic PowerPoint controls. 4. I like how well you can mix audio, PowerPoint and EW7 created media in the same schedule. Cons 1\. Support is average. They believe the only way to solve a problem is to login to your computer and take control, not acceptable. 2. You can't export the text of anything you create in EW7. So, if you create 200+ songs in EW7 you can't port them to somewhere else. All you can do is export a list of songs or open each song and copy all the text. 3. Even after multiple releases of EW6 and EW7, PowerPoint presentations will sometimes stop working. The PP slides turn black and instead of seeing 12 separate slides, you only see 1 black slide. 4. If you resize the Application screen, EW7 will not remember how you sized the panels the next time you start it up. 5. You can run an audio travt in the background while you display a video or image file. Before 2008 for sure! I like it because it's EASY! Cons We don't use the product exactly as designed, and we sometimes make up our own workarounds for our church. Pros It is a great value for what it costs, it is easy to use, and the customer support is outstanding. It is used for our worship service, and it is very user friendly and has very helpful and attractive media that I use. I pay extra for the premium subscription as it is a very valuable quality. I wish that I would have done it sooner! I am a very satisfied customer. Pros 1\. User friendly which is important when training new volunteers. 2. One license covers several installations at a Church, home or elsewhere. 3. Direct link to Songselect making the download of lyrics easy and automatic reporting of song usage is a no brainer. 4. Direct link to media that can be used for countdowns, song themes, scripture themes, etc. 5. On-line training videos make it easy for a new volunteer to learn the basics and more advanced features fo the software. 6, On-line streaming capability. 7. On-line support when needed is helpful. 8. The interface just works. It's so easy to understand. 9. Multiple outputs. Currently we use 3 different outputs. 10. Powerful search tool make finding worship songs or Bible scriptures a simple task. Cons 1\. This is not the fault of the software, but the complexity of hardware and software integration is beyond the capabilities of the average user or volunteer, especially with respect to on-line streaming. There are so many options that depend not only on budget but also on the ability of staff and/or volunteers to implement it. Easy to understand information was available as we were in the evaluation phase. Very satisfied. Pros As this is an update for us, the seamlessnes of the transition is tremendous. It also found the multiple screen offset settings without hassle. Cons The only setting that didn't transfer was 'always live at startup ' and that fooled me for a good while. Otherwise, having to wait until people in the USA wake up in our late afternoon is a bit of a drag.
