## What is ZSvirt?

ZSvirt is an on-premises, open-source virtualization platform that helps IT teams manage virtual machines, storage, and networking from a single control plane. It supports environments ranging from small homelabs to large enterprise deployments with 10,000+ hosts and VMs configured with up to 768 vCPUs. Businesses use ZSvirt to run production workloads, migrate away from VMware without guest agents, and manage both VMs and bare metal servers from one web-based interface. The built-in migration toolset handles full-disk copy and incremental sync, with cutovers in as little as 5 minutes. Core features include SR-IOV networking, VM encryption, SecureBoot, vTPM 2.0, multi-factor authentication, immutable audit logs, high availability, snapshots, and cloning. It also offers over 2,000 API endpoints and native Terraform support for teams that use infrastructure-as-code tools.
