Pros AIMS is a flexible application that supports the complete granting process from start to end. AIMS provides workflow tools to design and maintain specific business processes. The rights of internal users and external applicants can be authorized in great detail. Digital application forms are integrated. These ‘smartforms’ can be designed according to the requirements of the organisation. Questions can be shown or hidden dynamically by the use of logics. Or made mandatory etcetera. Information entered in the digital forms can be automatically stored in the AIMS database. AIMS also has an integrated tool for developing standard letters in which relevant data from the database can automatically be entered. Cons On the other hand, the overall flexibility of the system implies that the maintenance is somewhat labor-intensive. The system gives a lot in return though. It can be implemented without technical knowledge and it can be made suitable for all kind of organisations, great, small, complex or international. Aims is a workflow based system which covers the procedures, stores all the documents and provides with forms and template letters all the basics for correspondence with the clients. Aims is completely webbased, so flexible working is no problem. Pros \-Complete for grant management -Flexible -Suitable for each organisation -Fully webbased -Implementation without technical knowledge -used without manual, because of the possibilities to give your own hints to the users. Cons \-the system is still expanding and improving, but that's not really a con, because it fits more and more the clients'needs.
