### "LiveAgent as a live chat service"

We loved it's appearance, it's integration with our internal systems (not so easily done), but we hope you could improve desktop notifications.

Pros

It's a powerful, elegant and quite complete helpdesk/live chat/ticket handling solution. It has a very complete free tier and powerful (if expensive for us) premium features.

Cons

It doesn't have a desktop app and the browser notifications do not meet our expectations since we need assurance that not a single message is leaved unanswered.

all queries are all brought together on this tool, from emails to call, ensuring that all important issues are dealt with by the support staff, i highly recommend live agent

Pros

an amazing customer support tool, comes with many features but most important feature to me is the FAQ in which customers with common queries can find help without necessarily calling on help desk, this gives room for more urgent and serious inquiries to be handled.

Cons

is not just a buy and use tool, as for advanced features, it's little difficult to set it up and implement it. hence requires enough time to understand it and implement.

Pros

The location report (which shows a user's location anywhere in the world). Also, the ability to send a chat invitation to a user while browsing your website. Being able to record and store the calls received from the clients is also helpful.

Cons

The software is pretty complete. Nothing to dislike really.

### "Good Support ticket and Live Chat app"

I got a sweet deal when it was on AppSumo (LifeTime deal of 2 seats) and have been using it since for slidedog.com

Pros

The desktop app is very powerful and has a lot of customization options

Cons

Their mobile app for iOS could be a lot better. I don't really trust it to alert me, as it's been buggy over the years that I've used it.

Reason for choosing LiveAgent

Mainly because of the very good deal we got on AppSumo back in the day.

### "New company - but only ever one option"

I have used LA since 2011. Whenever I get the chance, I use it. I have successfully installed it on companies ranging from 9 to 125 agent seats. and it is my 'go to' application. Yes, there are tiny bugs, like any platform, but they are always quickly updated and resolved. In 7 years of using (and suggesting) LA, I've only had one bad experience with their customer service (and, OK, it WAS poor service), but it was quickly spotted and dealt with. Simply put - If you are reading this review - you have found the CS platform you need, with the support you deserve.

Pros

Live Agent (LA) offers 'everything' for any size CS operation.| Their support is always fast and friendly. It simply 'works'

Cons

Some internal rule options could be added to expand the options.

We are very satisfied with what the system offers us, simple and easy to operate, generation of eports and control of agents with easy access and configuration

Pros

Dynamics, simplicity, and self-explanatory the whole system, basically people with little knowledge of IT can manage and operate the system

Cons

So far there is nothing that doesn't just like an observation that it would be interesting to have automatic translation integration in the chats

The biggest benefit we get from is being able to communicate with customers and immediately see their order history (shopify integration) and their previous messages with our support team. This saves time for both us and the customer.

Pros

The plethora of functionalities and having all support channels in 1 app: live chat, email, social and phone. I also highly value great support. A great app with mediocre support is not a great app. So, besides all the options in the app I was also happy to find has a great support team themselves.

Cons

Compared to our last support app the dashboard feels very cluttered, but also has lots more functions, so it's not a big deal. Once you're used to it, you don't notice it anymore.

We needed a solution that also integrated with social & phone. In Help Scout there was a work around option to achieve this but it didn't really fit our needs. So we started looking for reviews of other apps and asking other business owners what they used. came up a couple of times as the best solution. When we saw there was a deal for a lifetime license we decided to give it a go and we never looked back.

I like the fact you are able to integrate numerous email inboxes to it and assign each agent emails.

Cons

When searching for past emails it can sometimes get a little confusing ensuring you select the correct filters, otherwise you will not find what you are looking for.

Pros

The things that stand out to me about are the automation tools we have access to even with the basic plan. It's helped our support team get organized while scaling our team and handling a surging volume of customer inquiries. The technical support we receive is literally instant, and i've only had to go through their chat service to get problems solved. Super easy and each time I speak with one of their agents I learn something new.

Cons

There are so many features, that sometimes I don't realize some of the amazing tools available to me. I guess you can't call that a con though. The one thing that I'm missing is an undo button when replying to emails.

I like the fact that they integrate with all of our tool including our telephony provider

Cons

Ticket numbers are difficult to translate to a customer verbally. Interface is not the softest on the eyes.

Great customer service on their end, and their service offers a ton of great features that I didn't think I'd need at first, but after just a little while, I quickly came to appreciate all the functionality I get, for such a low price.

Pros

lets me interact with my customers in real time, integrating a knowledge base to help me and my team of just 2 others, solve customer problems much faster and way more efficiently than any other customer support platform I've used to date. The set up process is very easy, and I love the all-in-one inbox . I'm sure to never miss any support tickets or requests, which was sometimes a problem with other similar apps I've worked with in the past.

Cons

Honestly, there are no pros. The price point is pretty solid - after all, it's just myself and 2 reps for my small business - but even if I had a larger support team, doesn't break the bank.

We tried many solutions and are very satisfied with LA.

Pros

LA is very easy to use. We mainly use the ticket system of LA. We have a good overview of all tickets (thousands). It's perfect that you can create automation, too. Depending on the optinform or keyword, the tickets can be processed by the right employee. It is good, too, that we can put tickets back for some days. Also good: you can add notes to each ticket and you can see the history of the ticket AND the customer, too..

Cons

The knowledge database is a nice idea, but it is not yet perfect. It would be good if you could convert tickets directly into an articles. It would be important to be able to add "private" fields, e.g. do not publish passwords.

### "Great tool for managing customer service"

Live Agent is a great tool to manage and take care of your customer service.

Pros

I like the option to set a time frame when tickets need to be solved by the latest (for example within 48 hours). Live Agent automatically tags all tickets that already exceeded the time and needs to be solved ASAP. The overall process of managing the tickets is simple and clear. I also like that multiple tickets from the same users can be merged together into one conversation.

Cons

The search option doesn’t work very well. When trying to search for a certain phrase in a ticket, it usually displays all irrelevant tickets that do not even mention the phrase. Also, the Spam filter doesn’t work really well, because we keep receiving spam emails from the same email address over and over, although we’ve marked them as spam multiple times.

### "Live agent - it's just there.."

Very good

Pros

Before I started using Live Agent I had used a few CRM systems over the 35 years I have been in business but this software is not really a CRM and is not really targeted at accountants but I find it really easy and useful and I wouldn't now be without it. It is one of those bits of software which fades into the back ground as it's just there and does it's thing and doesn't get in the way. I have also now linked it to my website so I can get calls that way, just no one has called on it so far...

Cons

Nothing really come to mind. I picked this up on a appsumo deal so maybe the deal only the 2 agents, but I am sure that could be increased it needed. I just don't need more than 2 agents in my business.
