We needed a platform that would handle event registrations, mobile agendas, and event check-ins. Our organization needed some custom attributes for our attendees. We were able to utilized Eventleaf's API to do this. We evaluated other event management software, but their API was either not modern or non-existent. Eventleaf's API documentation is easy to understand and easy to use. Eventleaf's pricing plans are flexible for our organization. Setting up and event within Eventleaf is easy. I was able to setup custom ticket types easily too. The mobile app is easy to use. We were able to add our logo within the event page and mobile app/agenda too. Overall, I would recommend Eventleaf as an event management platform. Pros I loved the API access for our custom needs. I loved the mobile app too. It is really easy to setup and publish events. It is easy to duplicate events too. I really appreciate the Eventleaf customer service too. All my questions were answered quickly and thoughtfully. I love the flexibility of the pricing plans too. Pros The scalability for small to large sized events. As a faith-based non-profit it is essential to have a tool that you can rely on to give robost event support for a wide range of participants without sacrificing quality. Integration with supporting tools like ZOOM. PDF, and Microsof Office s a must, and Eventleaf does it well. Cons Eventleaf did not have a step by step how to video when we first started using the platform. I had to make one that fit the community I served. It had to be tailored for the user who was more mature and had a built in fear of technology. They needed hand holding and the videoo provided that safty net.. September 24, 2024 2.0 I was really hopeful about this app, but it ended up not working and became frustrating for me (the event planner) and for the attendees. Pros I like that there is an app for phones and a website. I like the overall look of the platform. Cons It was difficult to navigate. It was easy to confuse the Guide and the Check-In. Once we figured that out, some teachers could check-in to sessions and some kept getting error messages. After much research and many demos, someone suggested I try EventLeaf. Following a demo and welcome call with EventLeaf, I was hooked! We have been using EventLeaf for three years and are extremely pleased with the program, the accompanying apps and the exceptional customer service. QR code scanning via the check-in app worked a treat and could handle multiple sessions within an event easily. The synchronisation of event registrations with the main contact list didn't seem to work very well for our scenario (although, we had unusual requirements in this area). After looking at many companies, Eventleaf was the only one to check all of the boxes. We are excited to start using their product for our conference in a few months. Pros Received detailed demo, easy to get follow up questions answered by email, and was able to test the product before committing. Great customer service. We were looking for a product that allowed attendees to select multiple registration options while only entering their information once, connected to name badge printing software, and had lead retrieval integration. Eventleaf had all 3, and even has their own payment gateway with payouts monthly to our bank account. You can also include registration types/options on name badge with customized “badge friendly” names. Lastly, you can create a basic registration page or build out with more detail through suggested tabs. As we just signed up, we haven’t been able to test out the reporting, name badge printing, or lead retrieval in action, but so far they seem to be great and meet all of our needs. Cons It took some time to set up the registration platform from scratch, but we were able to build out the registration options exactly as we needed and our Eventleaf contact was able to help us with any questions. Common registration fields need to be built from scratch, whereas other registration platforms have questions already built out. For example, you have to upload file of all states and countries when building the address fields to allow them to be a drop down. However, seems like we can copy/paste these fields for future registrations once created. As for the website, there is basic functionality and customization options when creating your registration webpage but it still worked for our needs. Pros Building registration forms and website information is extremely easy and fairly intuitive. It took me about a week to create my first event (working on it when I had time). I had 8 months between events and was able to easily create the registration screens for my new event. I recently copied an event and made the revisions to the registration screens and website within a day. Cons I would like to:- Be able to create my own reports.- More flexibility in the registration options.- More flexibility in the font type and size for the event details. I enjoyed the fact that you get a full free-trial demo so you can play around with the system as much or as little as you want. I really liked the fact that the registration page had so many options for promo-code control, etc. Cons The poor controls for logo uploads. I was disappointed with the final event page link that I was provided with. I wasn't impressed with the cookie-cutter basic web design controls, limited color schemes, and a very blocky feel. Their customer service was amazing and ultimately the reason we decided to do our event again with them this year. Pros We used EventLeaf for a nationwide event for 300 of our customers. EventLeaf covered all of our needs:-Simple tracking of registrations/invoicing -Create a dynamic landing page with ample information -Send communications, surveys, polls, and certificates -An intuitive and interactive app -Streamlined check in processes for the events and each session Cons I believe we didn’t take advantage of the games and prizes capabilities, the available integrations, or the social media/promotion aspects (that was done via our own platforms). I believe I had issues with the name tags and certifications because they weren't as dynamic looking as I would've liked. I had an issue importing videos into the emails. We are unable to manually keep track of the registrations we receive and Eventleaf does that and so much more. Pros Eventleaf is super easy to use, the interface is self explanatory. The platform can be as basic as you want it, or it can be elevated to a more tech savvy experience depending on your needs. Cons I find that uploading new lists to send invites to is a bit of a lengthy process. We often have an initial list of invitees which we send our invitation to, and then we have invitees to add to our list later on. We love the survey feature, and while we haven't used the 'polls' feature yet, we're excited to employ the feature in our next event. Also, the attendee mobile app is a great feature.Finally, in our experience, the support has been fantastic, from the original product demo, all the way through to getting solid answers to questions we've asked along the way. Cons A couple minor interface issues...-Changing the times of events on the agenda is a little cumbersome, but nothing serious.-We'd like to have the option for certain content of the website to be able to be restricted based on attendee type or group. For example, when a user registers as a specific attendee type, it only shows that attendee the events that are applicable to them (Great feature). In addition, it would be nice if there were some website content fields that could only be shown to a certain user type, instead of just the customized agenda. Having different needs for levels of event planning, I have found this product to be great for smaller event coordination with the option to upgrade for larger events. We have held smaller events with 50 participants and used the program with ease, as well as larger events with participant numbers up to 1,000. Pricing tiers are great for companies of any size - with even a free option. The option to print nametags for planned attendees was a nice feature. I receive regular updates from the Eventleaf team and find them very helpful. This is a product that is affordable, easy to use, and I would defenitley reccomend. Cons I did find an issue that once I had changed a date for an event I was unable to make a few edits to who had registered. I was able to contact customer support and they advised me on how to correct my error. Turns out it was my mistake - my complaint was that it wasn't easy to determine my error. However, I would not call this a "con" as the customer sopport was top-notch.
