We needed a platform that would handle event registrations, mobile agendas, and event check-ins. Our organization needed some custom attributes for our attendees. We were able to utilized Eventleaf's API to do this. We evaluated other event management software, but their API was either not modern or non-existent. Eventleaf's API documentation is easy to understand and easy to use. Eventleaf's pricing plans are flexible for our organization. Setting up and event within Eventleaf is easy. I was able to setup custom ticket types easily too. The mobile app is easy to use. We were able to add our logo within the event page and mobile app/agenda too. Overall, I would recommend Eventleaf as an event management platform. Pros I loved the API access for our custom needs. I loved the mobile app too. It is really easy to setup and publish events. It is easy to duplicate events too. I really appreciate the Eventleaf customer service too. All my questions were answered quickly and thoughtfully. I love the flexibility of the pricing plans too. Pros The scalability for small to large sized events. As a faith-based non-profit it is essential to have a tool that you can rely on to give robost event support for a wide range of participants without sacrificing quality. Integration with supporting tools like ZOOM. PDF, and Microsof Office s a must, and Eventleaf does it well. Cons Eventleaf did not have a step by step how to video when we first started using the platform. I had to make one that fit the community I served. It had to be tailored for the user who was more mature and had a built in fear of technology. They needed hand holding and the videoo provided that safty net.. September 24, 2024 2.0 I was really hopeful about this app, but it ended up not working and became frustrating for me (the event planner) and for the attendees. Pros I like that there is an app for phones and a website. I like the overall look of the platform. Cons It was difficult to navigate. It was easy to confuse the Guide and the Check-In. Once we figured that out, some teachers could check-in to sessions and some kept getting error messages. We have been using EventLeaf for three years and are extremely pleased with the program, the accompanying apps and the exceptional customer service. Pros I use to track Rsvps by sending out emails and then putting it into a spreadsheet, Eventleaf has saved me so many hours of responding to emails and data entry. Also the reminder process again has saved me so many hours of chasing people up! I also loved the survey option, we have needed a way to get back feedback about our events and this feature was great! I have also had positive feedback from our invitees, saying how easy and efficient it was to use. Also, the features of being able to have different categories of invitees and sub categories within that allows me to collect all the necessary information. The event page itself looks very professional. Cons When I signed up I was interested in all the features, especially the QR Code sign in. We need all our attendees to sign in and this can be a tedious process when they write their name and sign a piece of paper, and unfortunately this wasn't part of the basic plan. Pros Building registration forms and website information is extremely easy and fairly intuitive. It took me about a week to create my first event (working on it when I had time). I had 8 months between events and was able to easily create the registration screens for my new event. I recently copied an event and made the revisions to the registration screens and website within a day. Cons I would like to:- Be able to create my own reports.- More flexibility in the registration options.- More flexibility in the font type and size for the event details. The depth that Eventleaf has is vast and we are excited to continue exploration and utilization of all its capabilities in the future. Pros Eventleaf has been very helpful in streamlining the check in process at our events. Guests are constantly impressed by the sleek design and simple process. On our end, it has been extremely helpful in setting up guest events around the demonstrations hosted on site. The wireless guest badge printing and sign in process has helped our check in area stay organized and seamless. The data collection acquired after every event has been vital in tracking our efficiency and influx of attendees. Most importantly, the customer service offered by Eventleaf has been unmatched regarding any questions or issues that may arise with the software. They've been able to assist with everything from financing to tutorial help on how to use the software to its full capability. Cons One issue we noticed with Eventleaf is that the printing quality for badges from the iPad is lower than the printing capabilities from the desktop. You can build out your event in minutes and and send out invites immediately. The platform offers 3 different mobile applications as well. You can make changes after publishing the event and once you build out your first event, you can duplicate the event to use it as a template. No need to waste any time on designing the website every time you plan to host an event. You can also collect payments online and the platform also offers a built in reporting dashboard along with reports for different data points. The attendee app also allows you to host Live Polls and QnA sessions during the event and display the responses using a projector. Cons Nothing that I can point out. Pros Simply put, EventLeaf's customer service is top notch. Forget chat bots and virtual assistants. Don't fret that you'll be directed to FAQs without a real person to answer your questions. I've worked with several reps at EventLeaf, and they're consistently available by phone and video chat, and they explain and troubleshoot well. It's hard to overemphasize how important this has been to our successful use of EventLeaf. When big events like our fall conference come around, the rep will make a point of clearing their schedule in case you have any emergency issues. Two thumbs up! Cons The reports in EventLeaf can be somewhat limited. For example, the first year that we used EventLeaf, we couldn't get head counts for each session at our conference. We are unable to manually keep track of the registrations we receive and Eventleaf does that and so much more. Pros Eventleaf is super easy to use, the interface is self explanatory. The platform can be as basic as you want it, or it can be elevated to a more tech savvy experience depending on your needs. Cons I find that uploading new lists to send invites to is a bit of a lengthy process. We often have an initial list of invitees which we send our invitation to, and then we have invitees to add to our list later on. In this process, we typically have to clone the invite and send to the new invitees which can take some time. Reason for choosing Eventleaf We did not consider alternatives. Also, the attendee mobile app is a great feature.Finally, in our experience, the support has been fantastic, from the original product demo, all the way through to getting solid answers to questions we've asked along the way. Cons A couple minor interface issues...-Changing the times of events on the agenda is a little cumbersome, but nothing serious.-We'd like to have the option for certain content of the website to be able to be restricted based on attendee type or group. For example, when a user registers as a specific attendee type, it only shows that attendee the events that are applicable to them (Great feature). In addition, it would be nice if there were some website content fields that could only be shown to a certain user type, instead of just the customized agenda. September 25, 2018 5.0 Pros A straightforward interface is easy to use and understand. Having different needs for levels of event planning, I have found this product to be great for smaller event coordination with the option to upgrade for larger events. We have held smaller events with 50 participants and used the program with ease, as well as larger events with participant numbers up to 1,000. Pricing tiers are great for companies of any size - with even a free option. The option to print nametags for planned attendees was a nice feature. I receive regular updates from the Eventleaf team and find them very helpful. This is a product that is affordable, easy to use, and I would defenitley reccomend. Cons I did find an issue that once I had changed a date for an event I was unable to make a few edits to who had registered. I was able to contact customer support and they advised me on how to correct my error. Turns out it was my mistake - my complaint was that it wasn't easy to determine my error. However, I would not call this a "con" as the customer sopport was top-notch.
