It was disastrous. We came back and are very happy. Pros Eventleaf staff are immediately responsive. They do not mind hand-holding and are patient and gracious with us. We are primarily a volunteer organization which holds a conference 1200 attendees, as well as smaller events during the year. We are not particularly tech savvy, and Eventleaf staff have made the process less painful. We especially like that multiple enrollees can use the same email address and still get individualized programs. Other platforms that we tried do not offer that option. Website creation was easy, and users liked the simplicity of registration. Cons When sending out emails, you can only do a limited number at a time. It would be helpful if you could push a button and all users got the email simultaneously. It replaced a patchwork of forms, spreadsheets, and a separate payment link, and it has held up as our attendance has grown. Pros Registration pages are easy to build and look professional without a designer. Payments flow straight into the registrant record, so reconciling after the event is simple. Badge printing and on-site check-in are the features our volunteers appreciate most because they just work. The mobile app gave our attendees the agenda and speaker info without us printing programs. Nonprofit pricing is available if you ask. Pros We've used Eventleaf for 3 years now for several of our larger events (300+ people events), and it has never failed us. The features Eventleaf offers are amazing, and we take advantage of all of them, and it's our lives so much easier! The sign-in feature, the apps (attendee vs. exhibitors), the games and prizes, the classes, etc., were all well thought out and have made our side a lot easier to make our event more available to our attendees. We needed a platform that would handle event registrations, mobile agendas, and event check-ins. Our organization needed some custom attributes for our attendees. We were able to utilized Eventleaf's API to do this. We evaluated other event management software, but their API was either not modern or non-existent. Eventleaf's API documentation is easy to understand and easy to use. Eventleaf's pricing plans are flexible for our organization. Setting up and event within Eventleaf is easy. I was able to setup custom ticket types easily too. The mobile app is easy to use. We were able to add our logo within the event page and mobile app/agenda too. Overall, I would recommend Eventleaf as an event management platform. Pros I loved the API access for our custom needs. I loved the mobile app too. It is really easy to setup and publish events. It is easy to duplicate events too. I really appreciate the Eventleaf customer service too. All my questions were answered quickly and thoughtfully. I love the flexibility of the pricing plans too. Once we figured that out, some teachers could check-in to sessions and some kept getting error messages. As a faith-based non-profit it is essential to have a tool that you can rely on to give robost event support for a wide range of participants without sacrificing quality. Integration with supporting tools like ZOOM. PDF, and Microsof Office s a must, and Eventleaf does it well. Cons Eventleaf did not have a step by step how to video when we first started using the platform. I had to make one that fit the community I served. It had to be tailored for the user who was more mature and had a built in fear of technology. They needed hand holding and the videoo provided that safty net.. Cons I don't have anything negative to say about the Eventleaf platform. The only constructive feedback might be to consider having a plan in between starter and basic, or reduce the minimum number on the basic plan from 500 to 250. After much research and many demos, someone suggested I try EventLeaf. Following a demo and welcome call with EventLeaf, I was hooked! We have been using EventLeaf for three years and are extremely pleased with the program, the accompanying apps and the exceptional customer service. The UX is excellent and makes for a stunning website. We also like that it builds both the website and mobile app at the same time. Cons Not being able to bill fees to participant revenue. It's so easy to create really dynamic registration for various attendee types. Most of the platform is "just enough" customization where you can set up a really clean design without being overwhelmed by features. The integrated electronic payments has made our work much easier, and we'll continue to explore the at-event features this fall! The dashboards and reports have already been amazing, but we'll continue to explore those as well. Cons I'd like to see the page design options made a little more robust, specifically the general information section (formatting is tricky) and being able to reorder the sections. I'd also love to see the ability to upload a logo within the registration, and the ability to back-end tag registrants. You can build out your event in minutes and and send out invites immediately. The platform offers 3 different mobile applications as well. You can make changes after publishing the event and once you build out your first event, you can duplicate the event to use it as a template. No need to waste any time on designing the website every time you plan to host an event. You can also collect payments online and the platform also offers a built in reporting dashboard along with reports for different data points. The attendee app also allows you to host Live Polls and QnA sessions during the event and display the responses using a projector. Cons Nothing that I can point out. I can't say enough about how intuitive this program is, which is a huge time saver when you're planning a hybrid larger-attendance event. I would highly recommend Eventleaf! You simply aren't going to get the same quality of software without paying out the nose, even then, you won't get the same level of customer service or a platform that requires little assistance from customer care. Our organization poured money into a a global-brand event management software company for more than a decade, and hated every minute of it. It was exhausting. Eventleaf offers the same functionality (more! It has an app!) and is a fraction of the cost of our past partners. Eventleaf is largely customizable, has an attractive layout, and requires significantly less man hours to manage. I met with around a dozen other companies before deciding on Eventleaf, and its been a God-send! The comprehensive online documentation provided valuable insights into advanced settings. Crucially, Eventleaf's compatibility with our Zebra printers proved indispensable. Pros One standout feature of Eventleaf's attendee management system is its efficient check-in process, which is crucial for minimizing long queues at registration points. It enables quick attendee lookup and immediate check-in, coupled with the capability to print name tags directly using Zebra printers. The compatibility with Zebra printers is particularly valuable, given their prevalence in our existing resources. After evaluating multiple options, it became clear that few vendors offer this level of compatibility. Eventleaf not only supports this integration seamlessly but also features a straightforward setup process. Our event team could easily connect to the printers without the need for extensive training, streamlining the entire attendee management at our events. Cons I have no cons. Pros It is easy to navigate, and the payment process and payout processes are remarkably not complex. Cons I didn't like that the software does not keep people who register together in terms of registering in a group under a specific company.
