June 4, 2025 5.0 Overall this platform is amazing, saves me 100s hours of work and has the ability to be very customised. Pros I use to track Rsvps by sending out emails and then putting it into a spreadsheet, Eventleaf has saved me so many hours of responding to emails and data entry. Also the reminder process again has saved me so many hours of chasing people up! I also loved the survey option, we have needed a way to get back feedback about our events and this feature was great! I have also had positive feedback from our invitees, saying how easy and efficient it was to use. Also, the features of being able to have different categories of invitees and sub categories within that allows me to collect all the necessary information. The event page itself looks very professional. Cons When I signed up I was interested in all the features, especially the QR Code sign in. We need all our attendees to sign in and this can be a tedious process when they write their name and sign a piece of paper, and unfortunately this wasn't part of the basic plan. I needed proof this platform was efficient before asking my Board to pay for a subscription. They have developed an excellent, user-friendly product. The UX is also very good. Pros Eventleaf is a very well-designed product that is easy to use. The UX is excellent and makes for a stunning website. We also like that it builds both the website and mobile app at the same time. Cons Not being able to bill fees to participant revenue. The interface is intuitive, and I was able to upload my attendee list (created from our company-created event site) and customize badges quickly. I have used a couple of other event management and registration systems, including one of the major ones in the event industry (you know who I'm talking about). While I do like those options, it's great to have the option to work on the fly for my smaller events without all the fuss. I also appreciate that it works smoothly with the iPad and Zebra printer rented from Choose2rent. Plus, the sales team and support staff have been great. I'm excited to use it fully on the day of the event!! Pros Eventleaf is easy to set up for badge printing. It works well with rented equipment, allowing me to create a whole check-in experience. Cons I would appreciate access to professional-tier features on the free tier for small events with fewer than 50 people. Having the option to automatically activate that tier (if available) through my account would have been nice. I’m not too tech savvy however it was fairly simple. Pros Being able to personalize our event and the support received from their support team. Also, being able to give our attendees the option of having a payment plan. Cons I can’t say there was anything I disliked. Customer support has been very responsive and it is very easy to use - I bet I am only using a fraction of its capabilities. Pros From the back end Eventleaf is so easy to use and covers all the basis for event management. For the end user, the event information and registration process becomes beautiful, intuitive and easy to use. The few questions I had during the first few weeks of using it were answered promptly with great customer support. Cons Not sure this counts and I have to stretch to find something but I wish I could create a default for registration report which would save me a click or 2. Pros The ease of all the admin tasks! From setting up the event, adding check-in staff & pulling reports - it was all so easy and user-friendly! Cons I wish there was an option to do a "mass" check-in or out for attendees. My experience has been great. The set up for a conference event is easy and there are many options with the free. I have printed attendee badges, set up exhibitors and granted access to each vendor to add their own information. I like that you can email the attendees and include a PDF if needed. This next event Im hosting I am going to go to the business side as this will allow check-in of attendees. This is a very important feature as last year we had people try to snap photos of the registered attendees as we had a paper version. There are many features that I have not yet used, but as my business continues to grow, I will be looking into them, such as the polls and questions for attendees, virtual options. I also will be moving to using the registration for vendors next event. Currently only use for the attendees Pros ease of use, customer service is outstanding, set up of event on website, features available. I absolutely love this website. Before I began hosting this event, all registrations, notifications, marketing was done via email format. This took the conference to the next level. Cons Not many color options available for overall website color of event. The cost for a business profile is steep, however nice that you can email customer service for different options based on event needs. I host small a small conference once a year, so the base price doesnt make sense for me to pay. Tiered options would be great, based on size of event. Cons The largest issue we had was with need for a registration site that can be used in multiple languages (not the most common issue for most), they had a work around for registrations but it made check-ins much more time consuming and we had to make/print lists. We have used other registration softwares in the past that were not nearly as beneficial. We loved that we could customize the page with our branded colors and logos. It makes for a seamless transition between our webpage and the EventLeaf site. We could even customize the URL! We were excited to be able to upload our contacts and send them from this platform, instead of having to use another platform to communicate. We are excited to have an integrated app that we can edit and customize. We loved how the software is structured for our event. It is easy to know where all the different pieces of information go. The default confirmations are great too, and we don’t have to create everything from scratch. We look forward to our future events with EventLeaf and only wish we had found it sooner! Our organization researched a few different platforms and for the scope of our three day conference, this checked almost every box. We appreciate the customer service that also goes along with the tool, including the technology partnership with Hartford to make our onsite processes straightforward for staff and attendees. Cons The only thing we would recommend would be a more robust or extensive support library. While there are many how to guides, this area overall could be more user friendly.
