January 5, 2023 5.0 I've been amazed. I can't say enough about how intuitive this program is, which is a huge time saver when you're planning a hybrid larger-attendance event. I would highly recommend Eventleaf! You simply aren't going to get the same quality of software without paying out the nose, even then, you won't get the same level of customer service or a platform that requires little assistance from customer care. Believe me, I am talking from experience! Pros I love the intuitiveness of Eventleaf. Our organization poured money into a a global-brand event management software company for more than a decade, and hated every minute of it. It was exhausting. Eventleaf offers the same functionality (more! It has an app!) and is a fraction of the cost of our past partners. Eventleaf is largely customizable, has an attractive layout, and requires significantly less man hours to manage. I met with around a dozen other companies before deciding on Eventleaf, and its been a God-send! Cons I wouldn't mind further control over design, but then again, Eventleaf ensures a user-friendly experience, which might be lost if the layout was 100% customizable. Their customer service was amazing and ultimately the reason we decided to do our event again with them this year. Pros We used EventLeaf for a nationwide event for 300 of our customers. EventLeaf covered all of our needs:-Simple tracking of registrations/invoicing -Create a dynamic landing page with ample information -Send communications, surveys, polls, and certificates -An intuitive and interactive app -Streamlined check in processes for the events and each session Cons I believe we didn’t take advantage of the games and prizes capabilities, the available integrations, or the social media/promotion aspects (that was done via our own platforms). I believe I had issues with the name tags and certifications because they weren't as dynamic looking as I would've liked. I had an issue importing videos into the emails. My experience has been great. The set up for a conference event is easy and there are many options with the free. I have printed attendee badges, set up exhibitors and granted access to each vendor to add their own information. I like that you can email the attendees and include a PDF if needed. This next event Im hosting I am going to go to the business side as this will allow check-in of attendees. This is a very important feature as last year we had people try to snap photos of the registered attendees as we had a paper version. There are many features that I have not yet used, but as my business continues to grow, I will be looking into them, such as the polls and questions for attendees, virtual options. I also will be moving to using the registration for vendors next event. Currently only use for the attendees Pros ease of use, customer service is outstanding, set up of event on website, features available. I absolutely love this website. Before I began hosting this event, all registrations, notifications, marketing was done via email format. This took the conference to the next level. Cons Not many color options available for overall website color of event. The cost for a business profile is steep, however nice that you can email customer service for different options based on event needs. I host small a small conference once a year, so the base price doesnt make sense for me to pay. Tiered options would be great, based on size of event. We are unable to manually keep track of the registrations we receive and Eventleaf does that and so much more. Pros Eventleaf is super easy to use, the interface is self explanatory. The platform can be as basic as you want it, or it can be elevated to a more tech savvy experience depending on your needs. Cons I find that uploading new lists to send invites to is a bit of a lengthy process. We often have an initial list of invitees which we send our invitation to, and then we have invitees to add to our list later on. The platform is user-friendly and intuitive, enabling senior technologists to set up an event without needing a support call. The comprehensive online documentation provided valuable insights into advanced settings. Crucially, Eventleaf's compatibility with our Zebra printers proved indispensable. Pros One standout feature of Eventleaf's attendee management system is its efficient check-in process, which is crucial for minimizing long queues at registration points. It enables quick attendee lookup and immediate check-in, coupled with the capability to print name tags directly using Zebra printers. The compatibility with Zebra printers is particularly valuable, given their prevalence in our existing resources. After evaluating multiple options, it became clear that few vendors offer this level of compatibility. Eventleaf not only supports this integration seamlessly but also features a straightforward setup process. We were able to create an event page from scratch that looks extremely professional. The registration and attendee tracking are excellent features. Inviting our exhibitors to edit their exhibitor profiles was also a huge plus. Cons The inability to customize badges by registration type was a bit of a letdown. The lead retrieval feature is also not customizable, it is limited to leaving a starred review and some notes. Eventleaf checks all the boxes and then some. I have used it for live events and virtual and it has been a wonderful registration tool for both. Pros It is so affordable and easy to use with excellent customer service. I have tried many software platforms over the years and this is by far my favorite. I love the responsive design of the custom event website, and how easy it is to build. I also love the app that is included. No need to enter information into a separate app or platform. Fully integrated into the system. Cons I sometimes am looking for a little more detailed reporting options. It is not always intuitive when building a survey or form, and there is a little bit of a learning curve. I always get support from customer service and they help me right away. Pros Eventleaf has been very helpful in streamlining the check in process at our events. Guests are constantly impressed by the sleek design and simple process. On our end, it has been extremely helpful in setting up guest events around the demonstrations hosted on site. The wireless guest badge printing and sign in process has helped our check in area stay organized and seamless. The data collection acquired after every event has been vital in tracking our efficiency and influx of attendees. Most importantly, the customer service offered by Eventleaf has been unmatched regarding any questions or issues that may arise with the software. They've been able to assist with everything from financing to tutorial help on how to use the software to its full capability. Cons One issue we noticed with Eventleaf is that the printing quality for badges from the iPad is lower than the printing capabilities from the desktop. Pros Building registration forms and website information is extremely easy and fairly intuitive. It took me about a week to create my first event (working on it when I had time). I had 8 months between events and was able to easily create the registration screens for my new event. I recently copied an event and made the revisions to the registration screens and website within a day. Cons I would like to:- Be able to create my own reports.- More flexibility in the registration options.- More flexibility in the font type and size for the event details. Cons Minor customizations aren't available but nothing note worthy is a major con. Reason for choosing Eventleaf The benefit of having the mobile app immediately available upon subscribing annually made it a no brainer. We have not used the mobile app with our attendees yet but we like that we have the opportunity to grow into the Eventleaf features instead of need to replace them in the future. We love the survey feature, and while we haven't used the 'polls' feature yet, we're excited to employ the feature in our next event. Love the attendee segmentation, and ability for user-customized agendas. Also, the attendee mobile app is a great feature.Finally, in our experience, the support has been fantastic, from the original product demo, all the way through to getting solid answers to questions we've asked along the way. Cons A couple minor interface issues...-Changing the times of events on the agenda is a little cumbersome, but nothing serious.-We'd like to have the option for certain content of the website to be able to be restricted based on attendee type or group. For example, when a user registers as a specific attendee type, it only shows that attendee the events that are applicable to them (Great feature). In addition, it would be nice if there were some website content fields that could only be shown to a certain user type, instead of just the customized agenda. September 25, 2018 5.0 Pros A straightforward interface is easy to use and understand. Having different needs for levels of event planning, I have found this product to be great for smaller event coordination with the option to upgrade for larger events. We have held smaller events with 50 participants and used the program with ease, as well as larger events with participant numbers up to 1,000. Pricing tiers are great for companies of any size - with even a free option. The option to print nametags for planned attendees was a nice feature. I receive regular updates from the Eventleaf team and find them very helpful. This is a product that is affordable, easy to use, and I would defenitley reccomend. Cons I did find an issue that once I had changed a date for an event I was unable to make a few edits to who had registered. I was able to contact customer support and they advised me on how to correct my error. Turns out it was my mistake - my complaint was that it wasn't easy to determine my error. We have used other registration softwares in the past that were not nearly as beneficial. We loved that we could customize the page with our branded colors and logos. It makes for a seamless transition between our webpage and the EventLeaf site. We could even customize the URL! We were excited to be able to upload our contacts and send them from this platform, instead of having to use another platform to communicate. We are excited to have an integrated app that we can edit and customize. We loved how the software is structured for our event. It is easy to know where all the different pieces of information go. The default confirmations are great too, and we don’t have to create everything from scratch. We look forward to our future events with EventLeaf and only wish we had found it sooner!
