Project Timeline

## What is Project Timeline?

Project Timeline is a browser-based Gantt chart and project timeline maker in which the chart itself is the editor: bars are dragged to schedule, linked by dragging from one bar to another, and dates cascade along an automatically highlighted critical path. A built-in AI assistant edits the plan from plain-English instructions, such as shifting every task after a milestone by two weeks, and every change can be undone. Resource utilisation appears as a heat-map under the schedule, day rates roll up into cost totals per task, person and project, and baselines show slippage in days and in cost. Working calendars skip weekends, public holidays for 14 countries and personal days off. Charts export as PNG (copied to the clipboard for pasting into slides), vector SVG, PDF with clickable links, CSV and JSON, and GanttProject files import directly. A free plan works without an account; Pro adds sharing, teams, baselines, a cross-project team view and higher limits.
