We have been with Big Contacts for over five years. We were looking for a program that was web based that would allow us to track customer information in over 40 states. BC has delivered everything we needed and more. One of the most valuable tools is the history and the email tracking capabilities. This program offers many utilities and options to increase sales and lower the sales cycle. I highly recommend this product for anyone that is in need of monitoring sales calls and customer information.

The to-do lists are a total savior sometimes when you are busy and take a second to look at your list.

Pros

Adjusting to working with the software is very easy, users can share information and view each others activities related to certain job tasks. Also allows you to keep notes on system so that you can keep better track on your work.

Cons

Updating contacts when their information changes can be tricky because you must add another contact and then it can become confusing when trying to figure out which one is correct.

I can know about the person I am talking to on the phone instantly by typing their name, and better yet... I have all their communications and emails and my notes to make sure I always sound informed. Great product when you have lots of clients and realtors.

Pros

Speed of data return, social media updating on contacts, email templates

Don't know how to send emails to a group of leads yet.. also, sometimes the emails I send are not instant.

I have had a positive experience with BigContacts. It meets my needs and I really appreciate the swift response of their customer service.

Pros

The software is intuitive and easy to operate. I can capture incoming and outgoing emails as well, which is important.

Cons

I wish I could link emails to a client after the fact, sometimes I forget to cc myself and I miss capturing an email in real time.

It allows me to keep everything organized, contacts are easy to find and I don't waste valuable time searching for information like I used to before. Everything is simple and laid out well. Overall my experience is great! Very straight forward program that delivers exactly what business need in order to keep organized and on track.

Pros

It is very easy to learn and use. I recently changed careers and this is my first time working in an office setting and using Big Contacts. I learned how to use it very quickly and it is very easy to understand.

Cons

I don't like the reporting options. I wish there was a way to organize and list the data in alphabetical or numerical ways.

BigContacts is a very easy-to-use system for keeping track of your calendar and contacts.

Pros

Very easy to set up and use. Easy to import data from previous database (ACT V6). Very easy to train new users. It's so intuitive you don't even need a manual. It's perfect for sharing calendars and contact information between two agents working as a team. System response time is good most of the time.

Cons

I have found the system unavailable for use around 10 p.m. Pacific Time, apparently while the data is being backed up. Response times are occasionally slowed during the day, possibly due to heavy system use. The letter-writing and label-generation functionality is poor to non-existent, but it's easy to work around these deficiencies using the excellent tools for exporting to Excel, then using Microsoft mail-merge.

I don't know if the number of people using the system has increased considerably in a short period of time, but maybe another server would help the issue with the program locking up.

Pros

It keeps everything very organized for us. There are multiple employees contacting the same people, and we can easily record everything we do. It is also great that we can access the program from anywhere - it increases the convenience of the system since we aren't tied down to one computer. The customer service BigContacsts provides is amazing! It has been great how helpful the staff has been with my questions as I've learned to use the program.

Cons

The system sometimes freezes, since it is web-based. Sometimes it doesn't register that it has sent an email, so we are unable to know if it has sent or not. It doesn't reflect well on our company.

While bigcontacts seems like a nice alternative to the other complicated systems, they are completely asleep at the wheel. You are only as strong as your weakest link.

Pros

It was easy to set up until I had a problem. That's when the support could have really shined and showed that if I had a problem they would be there to help.

Cons

8 day response to customer support request. They don't number their service tickets so it's obvious they really have no system in place to track any issues. There is also no way to contact by phone anywhere on the site. When a customer service rep does email back there still is no phone option.

I use Big Contacts to track our inbound and customer leads and it is easy to use and helpful. The only recommendation would be to have ability to create a sales leads report that is more of what we need.

Pros

Ease of use, easy search options, there is probably more features than I realize.

Cons

The sales report my boss wants cannot be pulled out of Big Contacts, it lacks all the information so I am tracking on a spreadsheet. I think I use it less than I would because of this.

I would give it a 7/10.

Pros

I like big contacts. It is easy to use. It has lots of space to store files. I can assign tasks to others and see if others have completed them yet or not.

Cons

Does not sync with outlook. Is not available on an app for mobile phones except on iphone. I have a droid phone and would love it to sync with my google calendar and outlook.

Good product that allows for effective customizing of data and management tools.A few glitches and limitations require some attention, but overall we are pleased with the system.

\- Affordable - Custom data fields are extremely important for our organization and Big Contacts has made it easy to tailor the system to our needs - Good email function - Ability to convert searches to excel is very helpful - Very prompt and attentive customer support

Cons

\- It would be extremely helpful to be have special search functions available for custom data fields. - Some glitches: business names are sometimes deleted for no apparent reason, leaving contacts linked with the business difficult to find. - Contact table is extremely slow and often freezes the system for quite a long time -

(name, address, phone, email, custom fields) 2) Custom Data Import - here we do the import for you and can bring over all of your notes, history, email and even calendar events. I was looking for a client management system that was easy to use. I had experience with Outlook Express and one other CRM previously that was $40/month. I am not very tech saavy. I was told there was a CRM that was easy to use and very reasonably priced. I checked out Big Contacts and used their free trial. I only needed something basic for my business. I wanted something that would track my clients names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, dates of birth and a system that would allow me to keep notes. Big Contacts has been very easy for even me to use! I know it has even more features that I access and maybe I will need them in the future , but for now, it works great!

In my new job for a small business there was no contact management system in place. I had about 110 new contacts/clients to talk to and learn their businesses. I used ACT many, many years ago so I did a trial with them. It was a nightmare getting started as no one was available to provide support. They finally told me they didn't provide support at all for individual users. I discovered Big Contacts and got EXCELLENT support from the very beginning from Adam Yapkowitz and his team. He helped me import my contacts from Excel and has been available any time I have a question. My experience with Big Contacts is five star!!!
