Pros

Ease of use. All my data stored in the cloud, access from anywhere. Phone app is really useful when "on the road."

Cons

On the phone app I have to hit the contact name twice in order for it to pop up. I know I'm knit picking but that's the only negative for me.

Does a pretty darn good job for a great price.

Pros

We've been using Big Contacts for a while now to manage our appointment scheduling, customer and vendor database, sales and lead info. We specifically got iPhones so we could access Big Contacts out in the field. Love accessing Google maps through contact info for navigational help en route to appointments. Also like that calendar can be broken down into 15 min. segments.

Cons

Wish that contact data entry was expedited, say by only needing to type in zipcode and have the system plug in the city, state. You have to type in every entry in full. But that is a fine point. Occasionally have lost tag clouds for no known reason. Customer service quickly restores, but is an odd kink.

The customer support is very willing to help and is fairly quick to respond. The program is easy to learn and simple for basic things.

Cons

Could use more features and better reporting. Also, better layout for new features.

Before finding Big Contacts, we looked at virtually every contact management system we could find and had just about given up because we didn't like any of them. Our IT dept was going to have to build one in-house. Big Contacts is what we'd have built if we'd done it ourselves, only much better.

Pros

Easy to use, economical and provides everything we need to schedule follow-ups and communicate with customers. Auto-pilot campaigns allow us to stay in touch with clients behind the scenes, and email templates provide me with a way to ensure my sales people are sending effective and professional communication in an incredibly time-efficient fashion.

Cons

I have submitted some requests for improvements, specifically to the sales opportunity features, which have not yet been implemented.

After researching and testing dozens of CRM options, we chose Big Contacts because it was the best fit for our unique needs. We've been able to customize and now have 8 users to help manage our contacts.

Pros

The ability to customize fields

Cons

The inability to merge companies and contacts, as we have several redundant contacts. I would like more direction and training on how to utilize Big Contacts to suit our needs.

Pros

There are actually two things that I love most about BigContacts: 1. The autopilot function. I like knowing that each new consultant or lead is getting the same information each time. I don't have to wonder if I remembered to send them something or think about where I saved the file to send them. 2. Daily Task. It really is my second brain. I can step away for a couple of days and know exactly what I need to do when I sit down at my desk. Nothing falls between the cracks since I have started using BigContacts.

Cons

Pulling reports could be a little easier, but it could be user error. I might just need to get more training in this area. I really don't have any complaints about BigContacts.

The price and ease of use. It's easy to set up and helps manage day to day tasks.

Cons

The customer service is terrible. If you have a problem there is no one to speak with. I've had an issue with the software and they have never resolved it.

Web Based. Easy to track all actions completed for specific contacts in one simple to use format

Cons

Can not get our partner to move to it as he uses his Smartphone (not an iphone) and says BigContacts only supports the iphone. So I feel you need to get a got mobile phone app in place asap.

I love using Big Contacts to organize my customer and prospects contact info...it also let's me make notes about sales conversations, birthdays and social media contacts. The ability to integrate with email and my newsletter tool--Mail Chimp is also a BIG plus!

I tried to use this program to track real estate leads. It was very time consuming to enter the information because they have crammed too much information on the contacts page so you are constantly scrolling. Next, the program had a problem and stopped showing all of my contacts. It would only show the first 25. This was complicated by the fact that it would duplicate and sometimes triple an individual contact for no reason. Finally, when the add contact page stopped opening, I gave up. Now all 68 of my new contacts are gone. Thanks but no thanks to Big Contacts.

Pros

The service has been able for our team to be on top of interactions with client via the note capabilities. The client / vendor phone numbers, address & other related infromation is at you finger tips where ever you might be. The IPhone app connectivity has been the best enhancement to date... it is fast & makes available in an orderly format all that you need on the contact... the data base if very robust & easy to use.

Cons

Not a con but i would like to see soon "voice recognition" for entering notes on client meeting action items, etc. as well as being able to speak for the desired client name, phone # etc.

I have been with my director sales company for over 6 years, and a leader for 5 of those. While I LOVE creating systems, and using them, paper just wasn't working for me, and I was inconsistent, and drowning, trying to keep up with my customers, hostesses, and my team. In February, I decided to "try" big contacts for 3 months, with the agreement of my husband that if we didn't see significant improvement, I would stop using it. Just TWO months in, and I earned my highest commission check ever! I have systems for everything now, and nothing gets lost because I didn't open my planner! I am in front of my computer daily, so all it takes is logging in, and working down my task list. I have referred many people to BigContacts, and they all thank me profusely after using it!

I've used many CRM packages over the years, and I find Big Contacts to be superior to them all.

Pros

I like the comprehensive "dash board" look and feel of Big Contacts. The web based product is far superior to ACT! in ease of use, and ease of access by pc, blackberry, or a client's computer. No more "syncing" of data later! Also, their customer service is timely and accurate.

Cons

The only functionality it doesn't seem to have that I would like is the ability to "color code" different types of tasks, as in Outlook. Since different users are color coded instead, this is not possible in Big Contacts at this time.

Highly recommend the application!

Pros

I have been a Big Contact online user for about a year and find it a wonderful program. I was a long time Act user and I really like Big Contacts compared to Act. The pricing is also very attractive. When the application came up for the IPhone it was a no brainer and downloaded it immediately! Now I have all my contacts for my business in one place. I still use the Iphone contacts but that is for all my family and friends. Now I have two great databases.

Cons

Does not have all the features of the online subscription version but it does what it needs to do.

pretty good CRM

Pros

Easy to transfer date from exsisting CRM. Easy to schedule appointments, track sales, & input data

Cons

Sometimes it has some clitches. Takes a long time to load data with new software. Can not keep information just with me and my partner. So I can not share a client with him without sharing with the whole group

I am new to my company and work as the Administrative Executive, following our Continuity book Sherry had created for us, the BIG CONTACTS section was very navigable and coming to the site for the first time, it was easy to find what I needed to start the process and pick up where we left for our business. Also, the one hour demo for the website was very helpful too.

It's step by step, very neatly formatted and makes it easy to find what you need

I would heartily recommend bigcontacts to a small business that needs a easy-to-use, quick-to-implement cms that can scale easily.

Pros

I've looked at a handful of cms', but bigcontacts really outshined the others by allowing the user to quickly edit contact info, add tasks, log calls etc quickly, without having to navigate to other sceens. This is what we needed - CMS structure without having that structure get in my way.

Cons

Sometimes (because of either their server or our internet access) the interface becomes unresponsive - ie, you click "update comment" on a contact and nothing happens.

All the CRM features a small business needs on a budget that all can afford. Great customer support - best I have seen for any online product solution.

Pros

BigContacts is easy to start-up and use. The initial (or ongoing) import feature kick starts your usage. Great tracking for phone calls and note taking. Good at reminding you of history. Fast interface on multiple browsers (although Chrome seems best)

Cons

A little quirky inside Chrome at times. The ability to be able to reply to emails inside BigContacts would be nice (and is promised in soon-to-be-released version)

Overall, I'm very impressed and continue to look forward to new add on's in the future.

Pros

I've progressed from ACT to Goldmine to Big Contacts. Big Contacts enables me to quickly access client information from any internet connection. Scheduling "Tasks" is quick and easy. Need to write a letter- everything is there for you on one screen. Also, I've used the support team and found them to be very helpful.

Cons

I'm currently working on resolving a problem with my email drop box- although it could be an issue with my email provider?
