Pros It was the perfect choice for creating high-quality charts and graphs quickly and easily. With its charting options and powerful data analysis tools, I make it easy to explore and present data in a professional way. With Microsoft Office integration, I can more easily access data from Excel spreadsheets and present results in Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. Cons It is a software that requires having a good computer machine so that its performance is optimal since it consumes a lot of resources and you cannot have several applications open at the same time. In ogni caso, questo software offre comunque molto funzionalità (soprattutto nell'ambito di creazioni di grafici 2D e 3D) che vanno però scoperte e padroneggiate con un certo livello di impegno in quanto a mio parere SigmaPlot non eccelle sul lato dell'intuitività e dell'interfaccia user-friendly. Pros SigmaPlot offre molte funzionalità riguardanti la visualizzazione grafica dei propri dati in modo professionale ed elegante, largamente accettati e riconosciuti dalla comunità scientifica. Il software presenta anche numerose funzioni per l'analisi di dati che possono essere utili. Cons La mia esperienza durante l'utilizzo di SigmaPlot è stata spesso complicata da incomprensioni riguardanti il suo utilizzo e le sue funzionalità. L'interfaccia non è molto user friendly e non sempre risulta facile comprendere il miglior modo per ottenere il risultato desiderato. Nel complesso ho trovato questo software meno intuitivo di alcune alternative presenti sul mercato.Il programma è anche abbastanza costoso, se la propria istituzione non ha una sottoscrizione attiva. I worked with big data and truly enjoy using the easy features of systat. Cons Poor customer service and very difficult to install and get strated. I spent 3 hours on the phone with the customer service to get it to work. Pros Clean interface and easy to use. The software looks good and the plots produced are good looking with good quality for publishing. Cons To change the style for some plots is really difficult and time-consuming in comparison to other software, it is not so friendly for some basic functions. The analysis performed is sound and the graphs are perfectly reasonable, however, they do not look as "flashy" as those produced using other software. Pros The software is well suited for the organisation of data-sets and the subsequent analysis and graphing of the data. The software was robust at performing an assortment of statistical tests and demonstrating these in an easy to digest manner. Cons I felt that this software was not as intuitive and user friendly as other statistical/graphing softwares that I have used. The graphs do not look as attractive or as neat as those from a rival software that we now use. As we publish in peer-reviewed journals we want our data to look as good as possible.
