Pros Cority is the environmental, health, and safety software my company uses for multiple functions, most notably safety incident reporting and tracking. In my role, I am a Cority user and can submit incident reports, set corrective actions, and assign validators which I can then track to completion. Cons When using Cority for the first time, there is a little bit of a learning curve to understand how to navigate the software and properly input data. After your first couple of logins however this becomes very straight forward and essentially second nature. Cons I was not involved with the core team in building the companies platform within Cority, so I feel like I missed out on a lot, which probably could have been beneficial to me as an administrator. Pros Cority has a lot of customizability which is very helpful for various reporting and data analytics. System is generally easy to use if everything is set up properly. The import utility feature is very helpful for mass data imports. Support is very responsive and helpful. Cons Cority is quite expensive yearly and has some background items that can cause the entire system to malfunction if they are not set up right. Some items are not set up ideally with the separation in between every data table (i.e., findings and actions not being able to have 5 whys in MyCority & only on main platform). Data analysis could be easier on Cority itself instead of having to export the data to excel. Covers creating surveys, sampling schedules for air comtaminants, chemicals and noise, equipment management, respiratory protection and fit testing, saves to time and very efficient way of data management for IH. (Possibly one of the best support teams I have used) Pros Cority supplied us with our own dedicated implimentation consultant (\[sensitive content hidden\]) who was extremley knowledgeable - They provided us with excellent training which made the move from our old clunky system to Cority GX-2 a fairly painless experience Cons As a large Occupational Health team looking after 15,000+ employees and numerous external contract there are a couple of things missing - it isn't easy for our recruiters to search the dashboards, although I understand Cority are working on a solution for future releases.Also we do a huge amount of blood tests daily and there is no ability for us to connect a label printer that allows us to label blood samples - this is a major failing of this solution. Pros I have been a Cority administrator for 9 years, but a Cority user for 15 years. The software is great for doing industrial hygiene. Layouts can be customized to fit the users needs. Cons The company I work for recently went into a joint venture, merging together several sites with over 7,000 employees. While migrating the data from one Cority environment to another (around 40,000 records) Cority put an upload limit of 200 records in place, severely crippling my migration progress. When discussing this issue with tech support & recommending a way around the issue, I was told by tech support "the 200 limit is to be respected" and they refused to help. In addition, I have two other outstanding issues that have been out there for about 3 months. Tech support occasionally will contact me to try something, but they have never been resolved. Having been at the Cority APAC Roadshow on \[sensitive content hidden\] i got to see the overall capabilities of the system. Presenters showed how they have implemented, developed or use the system based on how long they have been using Cority. That experience has given me new passion to further develop our capabilities, Pros Overall system capability is excellent, as is the user community. As a new user to the administration function of the system the support i am getting from the Cority team has been awesome. Pros As one of a few IT Analysts working with this software for our company it has been very fun to learn the ins and outs of the software. We are self hosted so we need more help then most of Cority's other customers but their customer support has been amazing and top quality. I like that it is built of different modules which your company may or may not want so its very adaptable to your needs. Cons It can be over whelming when you are thrown into it at first but over time you start to understand the ingenuity in the software design. Review Source R Reviewer Tool Shop Lead Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Equipment Maintenance with IQS software 2016 " May 17, 2017 4.0 We have been using this software since 2008 and we switched to the web version in 2013. We use this software to maintain our equipment and it is a valuable asset to record keeping and documenting the preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling. It does require some time to add data to the fields but once it is done it is easy to look up and check on the equipment to see when maintenance has been completed and any upcoming PM's that we need to plan for. I also modify reports in IQS to make it easier for managers to use. I add the new users into IQS and help them with any issues they run into. The software has made it easier for us to show our customers how we are maintaining our equipment during audits.
