Cons If I had to pinpoint something, it is overwhelming to a new user because of all of the capabilities. April 30, 2026 4.0 While the interface feels dated, the pros do outweigh the cons when it comes to Cority. It would be best for larger organizations that need compliance and audit tracking but would not work best for simple daily usability. Pros I appreciate that Cority is an all-in-one platform that is able to combine multiple functions within one system. Cons Unfortunately, simple tasks can take many clicks to get right so it can be time-consuming and difficult when you're first starting out on the program and getting used to it. Pros Cority has a lot of customizability which is very helpful for various reporting and data analytics. System is generally easy to use if everything is set up properly. The import utility feature is very helpful for mass data imports. Support is very responsive and helpful. Cons Cority is quite expensive yearly and has some background items that can cause the entire system to malfunction if they are not set up right. Some items are not set up ideally with the separation in between every data table (i.e., findings and actions not being able to have 5 whys in MyCority & only on main platform). Data analysis could be easier on Cority itself instead of having to export the data to excel. They weren't interested in our initial tender and even after convincing them to bid, they put in only the basic effort. Once selected, they immediately went into money maximizing mode and then we were met with a carousel of different people and account reps that never had any consistency. Some are of the staff are good and supportive but overall you just get this vibe that their focus is to just check you off their list and move on regardless of your readiness or the state of the product. Decent Solution but Subpar Implementation Services. Pros Cority is a powerful platform with tons of features and lots of integration opportunities. It is used by many large companies and is able to customize the solution to a degree if you're willing to pay. There is also a great community behind it where people can come together to answer questions and propose software changes. Cons 1\. Expensive - this is a very expensive solution, even compared to other players in the space. Not only is the base solution expensive, you are essentially forced into a position to buy "consulting hours" and time for anything after your basic implementation. It can get excessive at times. 2. Pressure - during implementation, you are under immense pressure the entire time from them to move the project forward and any slight changes in timeline are met with fee's and warnings. They have a overly intense emphasis on hitting the deadlines at the cost of implementation quality. I was asked to record the minimum amount of data for compliance purposes. However, I soon realized that Cority was the holy grail for EHS management software and the tool could do so much more for the utility if we used it more. When I started perhaps 10-20% of the utility used Cority as an end user. By showing the utility how easy it is to use and showOmg executives that helping us campaign for regular use would allow us to provide more guidance for improving our systems and programs, we reached about 75-80% timely event reporting and usage. Pros It’s easy to use, collects the data you need to be in compliance and develop strategies to improve your EHS systems and programs. Cons I lobe everything about Cority. I don’t think I’ve run into a situation where I couldn’t accomplish what I needed due to a obstacle created by Cority. Great Product." March 5, 2021 5.0 The Customer support is top notch. whenever we are stuck on a problem Cority User Community or tech support is able to help. Pros As one of a few IT Analysts working with this software for our company it has been very fun to learn the ins and outs of the software. We are self hosted so we need more help then most of Cority's other customers but their customer support has been amazing and top quality. I like that it is built of different modules which your company may or may not want so its very adaptable to your needs. Cons It can be over whelming when you are thrown into it at first but over time you start to understand the ingenuity in the software design. Our customers really like how this works during audits. The information is at your fingertips. The only suggestion I would make to the program is that all modules and support look ups have the ability to have a full page view. I use 2 screens and many people do now so it would be nice to view all information on a full screen. We love Cority and see the value in all the modules we’ve gotten so far, but it takes time. We are as good as our data, which means we need to truly invest our time and efforts into making it a great product. Pros The enhancements keep coming! I love that it’s ever evolving to the user needs. This helps us stay on top of the safety culture. Cons We get bogged down by being self hosted. I wish that wasn’t an option when we purchased.
