## FAQs about SIGNiX

Overview

### Which roles and teams benefit most from SIGNiX?

SIGNiX is most used by legal professionals, notaries, and small business leaders who need secure, compliant document signing. Attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants streamline contract and case paperwork, while notaries and signing agents manage remote notarizations. Owners, presidents, and administrative teams use it to speed approvals and reduce paper-based delays.

Answer based on 117 reviews

Overview

### What company size and specific industries is SIGNiX built for?

SIGNiX is designed for partners serving regulated organizations in real estate, wealth management, financial institutions, healthcare, and government. The description does not specify a company size, but it clearly focuses on businesses and service providers operating in compliance-heavy sectors that handle sensitive documents and transactions.

Features and Usability

### What are the key features of SIGNiX?

SIGNiX includes core e-signature and remote notarization features such as electronic signature, digital signature, multi-party signing, and document management. Differentiating capabilities include audit trail, authentication, compliance management, mobile signature capture, and workflow management, with Zoom-style signing sessions, signer verification, reminders, and templates supporting the signing process.

Answer based on 50 reviews

Pricing

### How much does it cost and what fees or limitations are included?

SIGNiX starts at $10/user/month for the Standard (MyDox) plan, billed annually at 120, while Team costs 20/user/month, billed annually at 240. Standard includes 5 transactions monthly. Reviewers often call pricing straightforward and affordable, with free training and no hidden fees, though some mention steep upfront annual costs.

Answer based on 27 reviews

Getting Started and Support

### How easy is it to onboard and train a team on SIGNiX?

SIGNiX offers in-person training, live online sessions, webinars, documentation, and videos, giving teams several ways to learn. Reviewers describe onboarding as user friendly for everyday users and even less technical clients, while admins, notaries, and teams handling multi-signer or advanced workflows often need more practice and clearer step-by-step guidance.

Answer based on 23 reviews

Getting Started and Support

### What customer support options does SIGNiX offer, and how do users rate the experience?

SIGNiX offers email/help desk, FAQ/forum, phone support, and chat. Many users describe support as responsive, helpful, and strong during onboarding, with training materials answering common questions. Others report uneven response times, missed calls, limited technical help, and frustration when bugs or verification issues required repeated follow-up.

Answer based on 58 reviews

Features and Usability

### How easy is SIGNiX to use?

SIGNiX works well for basic e-signature and remote online notarization tasks, especially for signers already comfortable with Zoom. Many notaries, healthcare staff, and small business teams find sending, signing, and retrieving documents simple, though back-office steps, login flow, training depth, and multi-signer sessions can feel cumbersome at first.

Answer based on 50 reviews

Features and Usability

### How well does SIGNiX handle remote online notarization?

SIGNiX supports remote online notarization with identity checks, document workflows, and journal records that fit many notary use cases. Independent notaries and law offices value those basics, but many also run into limits with multiple seals, interrupted sessions, KBA friction, state-specific scenarios, and inconsistent support when transactions fail.

Answer based on 35 reviews

Features and Usability

### Is the signer process easy for clients?

SIGNiX makes remote signing possible for many clients, but the signer journey can feel confusing in more complex cases. Businesses and notaries like the ability to email documents and guide signers by phone or Zoom, though two-email workflows, repeated identity checks, mobile issues, and multi-signer coordination often create avoidable friction.

Yes it was my mistake , I signed up for 3 years for a company which was not helping me the whole year , which has not properly working software , and because of this I just closed a couple notarized documents, I lost a lot of time on not properly working software, and because of all of this I closed my online notary business ! I hope my review will help other people not make the same mistake that I did .

Pros

This software is not easy to use , poor customer service

Haven't been using for that long but experience has been solid.

Pros

Easy to use and set up. My customers also find it very user friendly. I recommend it to simplify your business.

Cons

No glaring cons. Just have to learn to set it up but that's with any new tech product. It won't be a problem though.

Good product and great customer service. Also their \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] of eNotary products is very responsive and helps out wherever possible.

Pros

Compared to other electronic signature platforms, SIGNiX is certainly at the top. Preparing the documents is basically drag and drop. Clients are automatically invited to an encrypted zoom call and you can easily walk them through the process. They worked hard on constantly improving it and you can really tell the difference to a year ago.

Cons

Unfortunately, the security features do disqualify a lot of people from even accessing their documents. Especially the KBA questions pose a big barrier. Also, keep in mind that the contract you agree to with them is over several years and even tho you can cancel any time you have to do so at least 30 days prior to the end of every full year.

SIGNiX is so far very easy to use and as close to fail-safe as it comes to complying with state of ohio requirements for e-notarization. Very happy with it so far and how efficient it makes doing e-notarization.

Pros

This makes electronic notarization exceptionally easy (the program makes you go through certain steps and will not advance you unless they are done correctly) and also provides an electronic journal to keep all completed transactions in. This is important as this is a requirement from the state for all notaries who do e-notary signatures. Also provides advanced security features that outshines other similar software programs. Cloud based!

Cons

The one thing that can be confusing is when you are ready to send a document for signature, there is the option to send the documents to them at the same time the zoom meeting link is sent. When signing for e-notary, the signer cannot begin the signing process UNTIL the zoom meeting has been started by the notary. This can be confusing if both emails are sent at the same time - you can check a box to send the links at your choosing, so its just important that you remember to check that box.

It was terrible. I wasted 2 hours with a paralegal trying to work the software, trying to get me to the point where we could sign the docs. Never did happen.

Pros

It was easy to go throught the verification process the first time, but when I had to do it 5 times over again it became very annoying.

Cons

I could never get verified. Customer support does not exist. No real live person. Send an email and hope someone gets back with you. When they do it's a typed out, manual answer that doesn't help.

Horrendous, like screaming in the dark to no audience. They kept insisting that is was my lack of knowlege of the product (without asking my background -bad mistake) I finally received help from the poor sales guy who took pity on me and let me in on how to overcome some of the bugs. Many of my clients are coastal so there is connectivity issues from time to time but there was no mitigation written into the software (setting limits for receiving data) that were adjusted for the likeliness of this type of issue. Shoddy crafting. Very green coding. Not ready for prime time.

Pros

I liked the price. I liked that the tutorials claimed this to work with a smart phone alone.

Cons

This software appears to be comprised of several modules plus outside vendor plug ins. These characteristics imped the product from being functional at the best of times. Because the resource material was not accurate about what was needed for it all to work I received many bouts of frustration from EVERY client that attempted to process a remote notarization through the signix system. The Zoom launch was problematic. Because of this it was necessary to reset up the documents or save them some how. Only the template feature allowed for the work to be saved in the system reliably. There were other bugs as well to do with the affixing of the stamp itself. Great idea -but definitely not there yet. I should have paid 1,000 dollars to docusign. Now I have something I cannot use that is a source of embarrassment to my company and I am out $250.00 for something that doesn't work. The customer support was extremely lacking. I never got a ticket resolved nor did I hear back 2 days later once only to receive a boiler plate email letting me know how busy they are. There were other issues with the knowledge based questions and the likeliness of such question being answered incorrectly. Yet, NO warning about the system preventing a transaction for 24 hours!! If you are a one man band such as I, I would strongly recommend Docusign instead for a remote notary signing platform. Let us not forget -you do get what you pay for. Signix costs close to nothing as it is not reliable.

EXCELLENT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Pros

We switched from DocVerify, which had great support and marketing, but the software was not nearly as easy to use (did not have the image capture technology) and the ability to tab documents was glitchy. Signix support is just as good, the training is really comprehensive (unlike its competitors) and best of all, it has a demo toggle so you can practice without paying for an actual notarization price just to learn the software. The pricing is very straightforward. For DocVerify, the pricing was confusing and turned out to be much more expensive than the advertising suggests. Signix is straightforward, in pricing and use, and built well.

Cons

Signix does not offer to maintain the recordkeeping for RON (some other services offer this). But it is nothing. Get a dropbox or use google apps.

Customer support was not helpful when having difficulties getting an electronic signature onto the electronic notary application form saying they couldn't help. It was the whole reason I purchased the SIGNiX plan.

Pros

It seems great for a remote notary, but it isn't conducive to use for only swearing in a witness to give testimony and being in compliance with electronic notary rules.

Cons

It's not easy to navigate. You can't obtain your signature from the software to place on other documents.
