### "Need it, but don't like it"

Only if it works smoothly and the customer is more then 2 hours away is there a benefit.

Pros

It's nice to have as I have to work the entire state of FL getting NOC's signed.

Cons

Not the easiest to use. Too many customers get frustrated with the ID questions that can be extremely obscure, especially with those who travel or move often. The driver's license photo will often say it has been taken but the system can't approved it. After 2 tries, the customer (and myself) are fed up and I end up just driving to their house. There should also be training on how to use with just the customer using their mobile phone. And they don't have a repository, which is greatly needed, causing more issues with the end user.

Reason for choosing SIGNiX

I was told this was easier and less expensive.

### "Not a great UX"

Pros

It was easy to sign up and get set up. The concept of connecting and conducting a RON mortgage closing sounds great on the surface, but we have had several unsuccessful attempts and more frustration than ease of use

Cons

Configuring the signatures is painful, only allowing one notary stamp per pdf attachment is limiting and frustrating

### "Not easy to use but not impossible"

Pros

If you can get a client who is somewhat tech savvy, then it is a charm and works better than nothing. I have only successfully completed 1 and tried 2 others with no luck and the clients became frustrated and gave up.

Cons

I work for a law firm that represents low income and I have found that this program is very hard for our clients to utilize as it is cumbersome, includes a lot of steps and most of our clients either do not have access to a computer or smart phone.

Initial training was beneficial. Qualtrics integration in progress and enhanced Zoom was a plus for myself of which is included.

Cons

As always news softwares are a challenge so once you get the swing of it things will be good.

Our overall experience with Signix has been good, we were able to service most of our customers. We hope to have the KBA/photo issues resolved along with being able to place two notary stamps on one document. In comparison to its competitors and those programs approved by the State Signix is the better choice

Pros

The software is easy to use and we have been able to intergrate it well with our processes.

Cons

Although Signix is constantly working towards making it a better program the KBA/ID process is very sensitive.

Not a fan of the verification process, or inability to sign entity docs.

Pros

Great tool for the ones that are tech savy.

Cons

I don't see how one can sign for entities, POA's, etc. This is great for the people who are tech savy and not so great for the unsavy tech people. Even those that are tech savy don't like to type in their SSN's, and a lot of those question for the verification process are difficult. they date back to when someone was 2-3 years old.

I didn't like the software because it was clear.

Pros

I liked the webinar instructions, however one hour is not enough training to familiarize yourself with the software. I found creating the signers user friendly but once you logged out to get started with scheduling the Zoom meeting it was not clear. on how to complete the combined signed documents.

Cons

I didn't like that we only got one demo to learn.

It feels very much like a beta test. The known issues include having to log out to see changes, slow updating, transactions taking a while to show up again once you create them, etc.

Pros

I love the integrated KBA questions. That's huge. It is also fairly affordable.

Cons

You can't do multiple zoom meetings for different signers which makes it impossible to do multiple signers on the same document which is half the reason in-person notarizations/closings are tricky. This is a SERIOUS flaw.

The need to comply with Remote Online Notarization requirements.

Pros

Although tedious, tagging documents with a drag and place process is easy to implement.

Cons

I understand that the ID verification and KBA are third party, it is extremely difficult getting signers past this step and often the signing process can't be completed. Requiring selfies didn't work in many cases. In addition, if a field is missed on tagging, you are required to start a new transaction instead of doing an edit and resign.

I am still learning how to more easily use the service. Customers have been satisfied, but to process has been a little cumbersome. I think that satisfaction might wane as people get more used to RON signings... Signix will need to keep up with a focus on training users and making sure that we can provide the best experience for our customers.

Pros

I have used Signix before for e-signature, and I like the company's emphasis on security in general and the "integrity" of the "signed" PDF file. That focus comes through with their eNotary product. It is also valuable/helpful that Zoom is "built-in" the service.

Cons

Training and support seems limited. Interface is a bit cumbersome but understandable and workable. I struggled a bit the first time I tried to notarize a document with two signers. So far I have identified signers by having them hold their drivers license up to the camera and reading to me the address on the DL. I don't know if any KBA tools are built into the service.

Reason for choosing SIGNiX

I was familiar with Signix for esignatures, and the pricing was competitive.

Signix has a great platform, but with deficiencies that the engineers cannot help you with at best, it's a guess of what may be the problem. I tried using Signix numerous times without good results. I could proceed through documents only for either the client or me, the notary, to experience an error when completing the document for notarization. I tried several times on different browsers i.e., chrome, Firefox, etc. with no success. Getting the system errors fixed and then notarizing documents on Signix would be the best.

Pros

The platform is the easy to use, with it's functionality superb. Setting up the documents and notifying the clients unmatched. Putting all the information where it should be can be done with ease.

Cons

The software is perfect just un-timed errors makes it frustrating to use.

I think it's the best service out their for independent notary publics.

Pros

It sure gets the job done affordable, but can run into frustrating bugs that requires signers to redo their work. Nice when it works and customers service is very expedient. Once you get used the the web app you start learning to work with it much better.

Cons

I don't like the 3rd party ID Verification. I think they're "smartphone or only approach" is poor design, and their facial recognition AI could certainly do better. The ID Verification by 3rd party is the step I dread the most and I'd like to see Sign find other 3rd party vendors that can provide a higher quality service.

Online notarization has become a smoother and more routine process as we've become more comfortable with the software. Tech support is very responsive.

Pros

It's easy to explain to the signee his/her part in the remote transaction process.

Cons

Initially, we had difficulty with completing transactions because the software would not pass signee identification credentials, if the signee's driver's license picture did not precisely match up with the selfie the signee is required to take for comparison purposes. We worked with the company to have that component removed from the process since the notary is ultimately responsible for confirming the identity of the signee. The process runs much more smoothly now.

Pros

Easy to use and set up. My customers also find it very user friendly. I recommend it to simplify your business.

Cons

No glaring cons. Just have to learn to set it up but that's with any new tech product. It won't be a problem though.

Trying to use this with online Notary and have had nothing but issues. Documents not loading correctly or putting in words that were not in the original document.

Pros

I like that it integrates with Zoom Meetings.

Cons

Need more options to other text to a document, such as state, county, date, month, year. Also the ability to put multiple notary seals on documents for one transaction.

Reason for choosing SIGNiX

After watching the videos and talking with the salesman from Signix I thought it was exactly what I needed for online notarization. I have had nothing but trouble with it and the process doesn't work exactly how the video describes. I think an updated video is needed.

I think the product overall is good. It could be a bit more user friendly on the back end. Lastly I feel like they need to know what each state requirements are and be able to provide that quickly. I felt that part was lacking.

Pros

The client verification process is great and easy to use.

Cons

The back end can be a little confusing when you first start using the product. I had a little trouble getting the required information that my state required in order to get commissioned to complete remote online notarizations.

I was unable to get Certification and Documentation in a timely manner. I now have the ability to work with more than one company.

Once I was able to go through it one time to figure it out I got the hang of it - client's found it easy to use which is the most important aspect.

Pros

Very straightforward pricing structure. Easy to get started and trained on. Once everything is properly setup, the flow of signatures happens very smoothly. Downloading the completed documents and required compliance files was easy as well.

Cons

Setting up the document was cumbersome. Having to split the document into individual pdf's created a lot of extra work. The system is very specific as to how signatures are to be applied to the document when preparing which can get frustrating.

There has been no helpful support for me to receive my digital certificate in order to submit my application to the state and therefore I have been unable to use the platform. I would like a refund.

The experience was great! They respond as quickly as possible. They actually offer training.

Pros

I love the fact that everything is included. You don't have to make separate purchases for different things such as certificates, video etc. It is all included.

Cons

I do wish that they offered the ability to notarize more than one document per signing. For example a loan signing may have several documents in the packet that require notarization.

Yes it was my mistake , I signed up for 3 years for a company which was not helping me the whole year , which has not properly working software , and because of this I just closed a couple notarized documents, I lost a lot of time on not properly working software, and because of all of this I closed my online notary business ! I hope my review will help other people not make the same mistake that I did .

This software is not easy to use , poor customer service

Process is very easy. I love that if any issue comes up, customer support is right there to help you along the way.

Cons

I feel like personal branding would be a plus. Say the Client goes into the portal and it has our logo. One feature I dislike is that customers have to do the KBA a 2nd time to get the notarized document.

Overall, I highly recommend SIGNiX for any notary looking for the most understandable remote notarization platform on the market.

Pros

SIGNiX made it easy to transition into facilitating Remote Online Notarizations in a chaotic time. The user interface works extremely well and has made understanding remote online notarizations a breeze for both myself and clients I serve.

Cons

Since demand for remote online notary platforms has increased significantly, SIGNiX customer support has suffered in response times. However, that is to be expected.

So far, my experience has been limited as we are discovering how to assess the fees to the clients ( we are a PI firm and many times, this issue of having to notarize a document will come after case settled - nothing to do with signix), but I very much like it, it's easy to use, can be used across a couple types of "platforms" (tablet, cell, etc) It's takes care of all NNA requirements without the need to purchase add on's. The prices are very reasonable compared to other applications we reviewed.

Pros

I liked the ease of use, very user friendly. Many of our clients are cellphone only users, so the fact that this can be done via cellphone is extremely helpful

Cons

Integration with Zoom and the ability to notarize two places in the same document for same signer. However I understand the staff is working on these issues and they will definitely assist in the event you have multiple same signer w/in same documents notarizations.
