The process is straight forward and the pricing is far superior to that of its competitors. Most of all I am pleased that all necessary features for Ohio's eNotary process are fully integrated in the product. Cons The one drawback to the SigniX software is its inability to allow for rescheduling of the requisite Zoom calls. But his is easily overcome by canceling and restarting the transaction. Owner Government Administration Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Notary Reviewer " May 19, 2020 5.0 I am able to regular notarization online easily, but we should not be charged if the documents do not get notarized. I have several occasions when the document did not get completed but, I still had to pay for them. I thought it would be cheaper and easier but it turns out that it is not. Also, with SigniX the fidelity industry does not recognize SigniX as being on their approved Platforms to use. So, it makes it very challenging to use just one Platform for all of my business. Pros It was somewhat easier to use than some of the other platforms out there. Cons You should be able to upload all the documents that needs notarized and not only be limited to one notary stamp per document. As my company deals with closings which means a lot of documents needs to be notarized in the packet, but you have to spend the time to load each set of documents separately since you system only allows one stamp per document. It was the whole reason I purchased the SIGNiX plan. Pros It seems great for a remote notary, but it isn't conducive to use for only swearing in a witness to give testimony and being in compliance with electronic notary rules. Cons It's not easy to navigate. You can't obtain your signature from the software to place on other documents. Reason for choosing SIGNiX The notary department recommended you. It is easy to setup, easy for me to use and easy for our clients to use. Everything is so simple. Upfront pricing, no hidden fees. Cons The only issue I've had is that once the video conference has started, if you get "kicked out" of the conference as the host, you can't just relaunch the conference, you have to reschedule and it will not record your new conference. I wasted 2 hours with a paralegal trying to work the software, trying to get me to the point where we could sign the docs. Never did happen. Pros It was easy to go throught the verification process the first time, but when I had to do it 5 times over again it became very annoying. Cons I could never get verified. Customer support does not exist. No real live person. Send an email and hope someone gets back with you. When they do it's a typed out, manual answer that doesn't help. Review Source CP Christine P. After learning the process and interacting with customer support, I am glad I made this choice. The Webinar-based training has been thorough and fairly straightforward, and any questions I've had along the way have been answered. Cons A more thorough step by step checklist based on the training webinar would be helpful as there are numerous nuts and bolts to using the platform for RONs. Pros The work flow is good and the integration of Zoom, the recordings and document management Cons It is not flexible at all! If the session has a hiccup, you have to start the entire process over, including preparing the document. Reason for choosing SIGNiX They were too busy to accept new clients. Pros I like that it is fairly easy to use. The price is affordable for me and my customers that need the service. Cons I do not like that I have to load each document separately that requires notarization. I hear this is being changed. I do not like that there are 2 emails that go to the customer that signs first without the information automatically stating wait for the zoom meeting in order to sign your documents. Reason for choosing SIGNiX It appeared to be the most user friendly. The most cost effective. I missed out on a large hospital system contract I was planning on expanding with due to the fact they couldnt see their patients using this as a possibility. Cons Some of the features need to be more customized for a variety of signing situations. It would be nice to also have time stamps on the invoice for the transactions. ZOOM can also be a little tricky for folks who are not familiar with it. It allows me to be able to have customer video and conversation with clear video. Cons It's a bit confusing to set up.
