Cons I don't like the fact that it is a bit costly, as it seems to a very simple application alltogheter. Thinking the price should be lower. Cons It tends to be a bit invasive especially because someone can install it on your machine and you might not even notice it. Beyond that, the competitor in me wants to do better each day, meet my goals, and see the numbers go up. The great thing is that the tracking and analytics just takes care of itself and I can see the results. Pros Ease of use, fantastic insight, great plugin, syncs across devices Cons There are some options that I want that I don't get with the free product, but that's to be expected. Cons I really do not like that you have to download the software to keep track of what you are doing, it is a little invasive. It seems like you should be able to do what this program offers without having to download and install software to track your actions. I wanted to see what my work habits looked like, but after a while it just because a useful tool to track how I spent my time. I was able to find out when I did my most productive work and very clear patterns of breaks and slumps came out. I only ever used the free version, but that was adequate for tracking my research time online and helped me break a few bad habits. The statistics are quite detailed and you can quickly see what you're doing on your laptop or smartphone that you weren't aware of because the time passes so quickly sometimes. Cons The premium version is super expensive, but then again most of the people don't need it. It was difficult for me at first to see a history of months back to actually see my progress. It awesome at tracking my time within apps. Also, the biggest pro of RescueTime is how customizable the reports are. Cons I find the software to be expensive. Worth it, but expensive. Cons Nothing. Rescue Time is a great application that works as it should. It is very powerful though. Lacking only a few areas . The interface is not the most intuituve or prettiest, but they are improving with every update. I strongly recommend it.
