The process to set up a basic front end is very intuitive and can be done by someone with no front end development experience. Building back end processes can also be done relatively easily be someone with little back end experience. This has the potential to close the gap between front end and back end development. Cons I am an front-end developer and if I am trying to build an application that looks pixel-perfect to what my design team wants, this can be a very tedious process. OutSystems has the capability to customize css but it is not very straightforward and I am often digging in the browser dev tools to figure out what classes are styling what elements. Cons The transparency on the ideas that are supposedly 'on their watchlist', I would like some more information/insight on this.
