Pros
What I liked about Advantage is how easy and user-friendly it is, as someone who first used advantage 9 months ago it was extremely easy to pick up and use with training from my team.
I like the available support facilty. I speak to [sensitive content hidden] from the help desk and his honestly a lovely guy and able to assist with any issues.
Overall, a very satisfied long-time customer. We have been able to grow our business significantly with Advantage and the price is excellent compared with many CRM's on the market.
Really knowledgeable, helpful team who are always a phonecall or an email away. Always happy to help and find solutions.
Cons
The problem is our donors move or have multiple emails and then it created duplicates which is complicated to catch and merge the donors.
The thing that we struggle with using advantage is how we have to manually input data, and it is quite difficult and time consuming to import data from spreadsheets.
We deal with thousands of donations a week/month and to re format a spreadsheet to upload and not create duplicates would be even more time consuming.
This is a problem for all members of my team. Also, some of the parts are quite confusing to learn and will require help from the team, which does take up a lot of time.

"Advantage The Only Way Forward"
Overall: Overall I believe Advantage is perfect for our small to medium sized charity. Its a very reliable source and in order for us to track, create reports or even complete our Gift Aid transactions its been consistant. We havent changed for over 10 years and that can say alot about the company and our experience. I would definitely recommend Advantage.
Pros: I like the available support facilty. I speak to [sensitive content hidden] from the help desk and his honestly a lovely guy and able to assist with any issues. I dont feel alone.
Cons: Its all positive from my side. I dont have any negatives.

"Perfect for our Small Charity"
Overall: Having used AdvantageNFP for 12 years I definitely feel it was an excellent investment and we have grown our supporter and donor base because of it.
Pros: The friendly, helpful service from the sales and support team Inexpensive and modular therefore can expand if we need it to. Easy to use
Cons: The importing of online donations takes time to rearrange the data, and then manually enter all fees. The exporting and need to verify mailing list for sending out newsletters, would love this to be linked.

"Charity Review of Advantage Fundraising"
Overall: My overall experience with Advantage is biased as its the only platform I have used. However, with some small tweaks I think it could be such a great platform for data and donor management. It is extremely user-friendly, but needs some work on being a bit more modern and make it easier to import data.

"Right at the beginning of my AF journey "
Overall: I asked for some training and the price is potentially prohibitive for our small charity so I will teach myself by watching webinars. It would be handy if there was the option to take a journey through them based on job role (like the Salesforce Trailblazer although bizarrely that didn’t have fundraiser)
Pros: So far I’ve only used AF to look up a supporter and to record comms I’ve had with them
Cons: I’m hoping the interface will look fresher (perhaps it would with cloud based set up?)
"Review of AF"
Overall: On the whole, it does what we need it to do on a daily basis, however, there are areas we would like to see developed. For example, we currently have to manually input all supporter email comms because AF doesn't sync with the version of outlook we use. Also, we would like to see VOIP integration if possible.
Pros: Great customer support, especially [sensitive content hidden]. No problem is too big or too small for him and he's very efficient, friendly and quick to help. The report system, which we use to send to our accountants, is very useful. Gift Aid claims are easy and trouble free and setting up new adoptions/renewals is fairly seamless.
Cons: It can be very slow and buggy - it often crashes. The interface is a little outdated and clunky. The merge button has not worked for a while, and it would be great if duplicates were more readily identified via uploading. For example, we would like all v6 batch uploads to have communication preferences so that we don't have to omit email addresses.

"It works for us"
Pros: The thing I like best about Advantage may be seen as a disadvantage by others ! It sometimes feels like it is a database editor, which makes it easy for experienced users to find what they want and work out what is happening.
Cons: I would have preferred it to be a cloud based system, as updating the client and database version an be a faff.

"Reliable product"
Overall: Overall, a very satisfied long-time customer. We have been able to grow our business significantly with Advantage and the price is excellent compared with many CRM's on the market.
Pros: Really knowledgeable, helpful team who are always a phonecall or an email away. Always happy to help and find solutions.
Cons: Dated interface and features. Still a brilliant product for financial/donation management but a little limited at integrating with digital platforms and relationship management. Also, no colourful graphs and dashboard.
"Good Charity Admin, Finance, and Comms Tracker"
Pros: I like the customer support most - if I ever have an issue, the team will always aim to help in under a working day (in my experience). Similarly, once understood, the site is easy to use and has everything all in one place (comms, correspondence preferences, monetary income, regular giving).
Cons: Sometimes, the programme is rather slow and crashes regularly. This is a problem for all members of my team. Also, some of the parts are quite confusing to learn and will require help from the team, which does take up a lot of time.
