Has everything to have a good production control, inventory management, costing and even employee payroll Cons I would like to be able to do copy the screens and do a paste to Excel. Pros Easy to use - I've taught myself to use it and find what I'm looking for in a short time. I like the ability to look at one plant at a time. Jump To feature is nice. Export feature is handy. Cons Hard to find some reports - have to be in specific area of module. In GL Activity, if there has been no activity in current year, it shows beginning balance in account as $0 - obviously OK for income statement accounts, but isn't for balance sheet accounts. The trainer was extremely helpful. During her presentation and training sessions, she answered our questions fully, and she worked with us to rethink our processes migrating from our old system to IQMS. The individuals that have visited our office since then have been extremely helpful to help us migrate to the new system. Cons At the moment, there aren't any problems to date. September 6, 2017 4.0 Pros Very user friendly I like the way I am able to jump from screen to screen without having to go all the way back out. Pros Excellent Document Control Library - provides capability to store historical revisions Efficient ECO processing through email Great flexibility and efficiency with ECO, MRB, CAR, ECR processes and is fully integrated into the ERP software Cons Not a real con, but this module does require more training to utilize correctly and is not as user friendly as other components of the ERP system Review Source RC Rodney C. Pros IQMS support has been a great tool for us. When we have any issues the solution is just a phone call away. The changes introduced in releases of new versions and service packs has shown IQMS is responsive to their customers needs. Cons There are an abundance of canned reports in the system but finding where the report is located can be difficult. IQMS is expensive. Review Source CP Charla P. Pros IQMS has more features and uses than we will ever need in the blow molding industry. We use inventory control, production scheduling, accounting, time and attendance, and quality modules on a daily basis. I find it easy to use and tech support works hard to answer my questions and get issues resolved in a timely manner. Pros I love the different colors so at a quick glance we can tell if we have a possible issue. Best scheduling software I have ever used - it all ties together and takes into account the daily changes Cons Several times there are work order in the scheduling pool that we know the start dates are not correct. We delete ALL the work orders that are related to that part and update the system again to get the correct data. Review Source CW Corey W. Purchasing Used the software for: ### "Supply Chain Management Made Easy" April 19, 2012 4.0 I would like to see the "materials on exception list" within scheduling improved upon. The majority of jobs show materials aren't available when they are, due to demand from other jobs. Overall, I am very satisfied with IQMS. Pros By using "Material Exception List" and the "Daily Projected Requirements" we were able to streamline our purchasing department, and free up staff to work on other needed tasks. I would recommend the software. Pros Ease of use, a very responsive customer support. Overall helped in organizing our company and communicating how the company is doing to the team. IQ is upgrading the software with new modules and upgrading the existing software to run more effeciently. Cons More communication on the updates, what is changed. More on line training classes. I can't review a whole lot right now because we are still in the build process and have a go live date in March. Pros Navigation in the software is by far superior to most of what I have seen before. The way you can jump between modules and drill down are major time savers for us. Cons We have ran into quite a few software bugs. The set up of the system is a very very long process much longer then we anticipated. We were told the Time and Attendance module would work for us and now we have figured out that is not true. Pros The EDI system is 100% IQMS. There is not a 3rd party involved. The EDI support staff is very knowledgeable. Whenever our customers' requirements change, the EDI group provides modified scripts, usually the same day. Cons We implemented IQMS more that three years ago. Honestly, I have not had any EDI problem that the EDI group failed to correct in timely fashion. Review Source AB Amanda B. Accounting Used the software for: ### "Acctg" April 13, 2012 4.0 If you are in accounts payable or receivable the modules are very easy to enter and reconcile the data input. The ease of jumping to other modules to check for details is great. Pros Comming from a jobshop accounting system IQMS is so much easier to use. The filters are great for looking up items and being able to jump to sales orders, purchasing, and receiving is great. Cons I have no cons especially coming from a less user friendly system. Pros IQMS is a fully integrated ERP system especially applicable for thermoplastic injection molding companies. We went live Nov 2009 and it has helped us reduce labor almost immediately; material handling lot traceability using bar coding is the main advantage to us. Pros The cash flow analysis report that goes out over an 8 week period is a wonderful tool! I love that commissions posts as an A/P entry Cons Correcting a journal entry is not user friendly. We like the drill down functionality as it proves to be helpful when reviewing account activity. Huge fan of IQAlerts. Should we encounter an issue, IQ support responds quickly. IQMS encourages and is very responsive to customer suggestions to enhance the software. Personable, engaging employees are truly interested in supporting our business. Cons Annual Maintenance Contract cost has increased over the years, so has IQMS Support Services. Would have liked Maintenance Contract percentage to remain constant from year of implementation; increasing only when new modules or user licenses are purchased. Review Source DS Debra S. Pros Ease of inserting work orders into the work centers. Have a visual at all times when talking to customers as to where their orders stand in regards to meeting their ship dates. I like it because it allows one to learn as you go. Makes it easier to go forward. Easy to see what product is available when we recive an order. Easy to train. Can plan month to month.
