For the builders it is a good communication tool, which is huge. From a subcontractors point of view, it is some what difficult to work through.

Pros

We like all the information it can provide and on a web platform. It can be viewed from a phone or tablet.

Cons

Not clear on how to input and save information. From when we first started to recently they have done up grades that make it difficult to mark off jobs as complete or put in notes.

Because it is so easy to use, better process compliance from our users, which results in more accurate data derived. Excellent data archival, the ability to take/attach photos in real time, or to attach documents or request signatures is extremely helpful and time saving. The fact that this is a program that can be used by different departments within our company provides a standard which encourages cohesiveness in our processes.

Pros

Provides an easy, efficient means for Field to perform inspections, send notices to subs, other trade partners and inter-departmentally for internal use, and for these recipients to reply within the program to either clear the item or communicate what they need. All Inspections, including comments, are archived. Provides project and product data and a way to track performance by Project, PM, Vendor, Checklist and Checklist Item. The program is so versatile that we have tailored it to fit the needs of departments other than Construction, such as Land and Product Development and Purchasing, as well as using it for Safety Inspections in the Field. It is very user friendly, fast and efficient and we have had good feedback from our Vendors (subs) who use the the program to clear the items sent to them, or to communicate their needs back to the sender prior to clearing the item. The reports offered are very good, providing the opportunity to view data at different levels. There is much more for us to learn about this program in order for us to use it to its full potential. Also, working with the Developers and Customer Service - they are the best software company I have ever worked with, they are always available and genuinely interested in perfecting the program to meet their customers' needs, their willingness to help is unsurpassed and they are a pleasure to work with. There is a phone app for FTQ360 Mobile Inspections which is so easy to use that it is the preferred method of use for 90% of our Field personnel as well as a large number of our Subs.
