### "Great product"

August 18, 2025

5.0

It has been really great. Like mentioned above, there are some little things I wish could be changes, but overall, we have had a great experience.

Pros

The ability to have everything in once place is the best. We were using so many different programs before. With Clio, we were able to condense our file management, billing, and so much more!

Cons

There are only a few things that I wish I could change about Clio. There are some billing features that I wish would be improved. The things I do not like about it are minimal.

SharePoint didn't have the case management we were looking for. It is only for file organization. It was not doing what we needed it to do.

### "So glad we switched to CLIO"

August 5, 2025

5.0

The overall experience with clio has been great. It has allowed for partners in our firm have actual data at their fingertips and it has allowed our firm to get bills out quicker and a better handle on our collections with the multiple payment methods available with clio payments.

Pros

The software was easy to pick up and use, even after switching from a software the the firm used for 15+ years. There are several great features but our favorites are clio payments, efiling, the ease of billing and bill review, reporting and the newly added automations. Our firm also loves the tasking feature and the several ways to capture time. There are several integrations that also make clio a sharp software.

Cons

I do not like that we can not assign one task to multiple people. I also do not like that the trust listing report can not show the responsible attorney.

### "Excellent CRM for Law Practice Management -- Small to Large Firm!"

August 6, 2025

5.0

Overall experience has been positive; have not even considered using any other software. Customer support is always available to assist, and Clio offers options to test new product features. The ability to "customize" add-on features is a plus for law firms with changing needs.

Pros

Clio is an excellent law practice management CRM with multi-faceted capabilities. Time tracking and invoicing are easy to use, and the client portal allows for paperless practice and document management. Clio is user-friendly and continues to develop features to keep up with changing technology including AI.

Cons

Accounting feature does not offer payroll; Clio Draft is not easier than using the built-in document automation.

### "Operations View "

May 27, 2026

5.0

There are many resources available online and when I find myself in a hole, I can easily search online and find what I need.

Pros

It is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The custom fields allow me to easily add what is needed.

Cons

What I least like about Clio is the ability to not view custom live reports with visual graphs or charts.

### "Overall great case management system!"

August 13, 2025

5.0

Clio is easy use and easy to set up. It provides multiple payment methods which is helpful in getting bills sent to client and paid.

Pros

Clio is easy to use and very affordable. I especially like that Manage and grow share data very well.

Cons

There are some fields that will not automatically populate from grow to manage. It seems that it should be able to do that.

### "Smooth Navigation and Smart Features — Just Needs Tweaks"

August 1, 2025

5.0

Pros

Clio's document management is reliable and easy to use, making it simple to keep case files organized and accessible. Data migration, especially with Clio Grow, is smooth and well-supported, allowing for an easy transition from other systems. The overall navigation is intuitive, helping users move through tasks quickly without a steep learning curve. These strengths make Clio a solid choice for firms looking to improve efficiency without sacrificing usability.

Cons

There’s room for improvement in the Matter Stages feature. While it’s useful for visualizing workflow, it doesn’t remember previously used stage setups, which can slow things down when opening new matters. Additionally, the display of client names is sometimes incomplete, showing only partial names in some views—this can be frustrating when trying to differentiate between clients quickly. These are relatively minor issues but noticeable in regular use.

### "Assegna un titolo alla tua recensione"

May 17, 2026

5.0

### "Great Platform"

August 4, 2025

4.0

Overall, this is a great platform to keep everything in one place from contacts, documents, billing, time tracking, and invoices.

Pros

Great database management for contacts and ability to link contacts with multiple matters (cases). Document sharing. Calendar managment.

Cons

Sometimes takes a while to udate revised documents. Does not have a way to review "duplicate" contacts and merge together.

### "Like Randomly Shredding Files Without Warning"

July 23, 2025

1.0

If you are OK with information randomly disappearing and you don't care about he accuracy of your data, and you don't expect tech support to help when the system crashes - then you may not be too badly disappointed.

Pros

Clio was promising when we first adopted it over a decade ago. We stayed out of inertia. It was not the worst program we ever used.

Cons

Horribly unreliable with useless support. One benefit had been the ability to create and track notes under matters. Then today, without any warning 3 notes from 3 phone calls representing 3 hours of work disappeared. "Tech support" was a total waste of time. They had no idea why the notes disappeared or how they could be retrieved.

October 29, 2025

5.0

I have been with clio for over 10 years. I used them when they first came, left them, tried several other companies and then came back to Clio to because I found their software to have the best capabilities

Pros

Great program. Capability is awesome. The team is great and they offer more than just software. They order a termendous amount of online learning beyond the software.

Cons

My only complaint is in Clio Grow. I wish they offered customizable reports that would allow me the ability to choose the information I want in my report.

### "Clio Does It All!"

August 5, 2025

5.0

I have been using Clio for over 10 years and am extremely happy with the product. It is constantly growing and adapting with technology. It is user friendly and covers all our bases from invoicing to document management and even sharing items with our clients. Clio does it all!

Pros

I like the ease of use and cleanliness of using Clio. It is extremely user friendly for all ages and users.

Cons

My least favorite thing about Clio is its inability to automatically sync Clio Grow with Clio Manage. I think once this integration happens this software will be amazing.

### "The only software you will ever need for a Law Firm"

April 16, 2026

5.0

I work with my client, a personal injury law firm. I do marketing emails and try to help them keep their business running smoothly and efficiently.

Pros

Clio integrates our law practice so anyone can be logged in at anytime and access a patient's file and see their medical reports and accident photos and see the client's status.

Cons

We didn't label all of the clients as clients when we went in so when we merged clio with a 3rd party software to send marketing emails, many insurance company contacts came up instead of only clients.

### "Clio is a Game Changer"

November 5, 2025

5.0

I've been user for several years, but its evolution, combined with some additional training, has made it a vastly more valuable tool.

Pros

It has evolved into a whole practice tool, including matter management, automation and CRM management.

Cons

The inability to charge payment processing fees to clients is a persistent irritant. Second, there must be a better way to manage fields in Clio Draft so that they are more uniform and easily accessible, lest they get broken when they are modified for a new template.

### "Clio is Reliable "

May 7, 2026

5.0

I would think twice before using another software, Clio is reliable for all of my work. The rest of my team thinks the same.

Pros

I have used Clio since I started this job and right from the start I have never had issues. The program is easy to navigate and keep track of all work completed.

Cons

There are not many cons that come to mind, whenever the program has any issues I get alerts and the issue is fixed within a couple minutes.

### "Do not recommend for Australian lawyers "

September 25, 2025

1.0

Dissatisfied. Beware that if you’re not happy with their service and you’ve paid for a yearly subscription, they will say they will "check refund eligibility" and just cancel your account and not refund you without advising you.

Pros

Clio Payments was good - it was the only thing that worked well for me. Payments and billing generally

Cons

Everything else. The platform is not suitable for Australian practitioners — it is very US-centric and doesn’t align with our requirements. The system feels clunky and fidgety. Smokeball and Leap are far better alternatives for Australian firms.

October 9, 2025

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear Clio has not met your expectations and that your experience with our cancellation process was frustrating. We take any concerns raised by our customers seriously and understand the importance of clarity and transparency in service agreements. Clio’s subscription terms, including our refund policy, are outlined during sign-up and in our Terms of Service. While we do not offer refunds for monthly subscriptions after activation, we should have communicated this more clearly at the point of your cancellation request, rather than after processing it. We acknowledge the confusion this may have caused, and we will review our internal processes to ensure clearer and more timely responses in the future. We understand Clio may not have been the right fit for your workflow. Our aim is always to set realistic expectations during demonstrations by showing core functionality and relevant features for Australian firms. We will

### "Clio is good, but could be better"

June 7, 2026

5.0

Pros

I really like how Clio organizes all our client information and case documents in one place. The task management is pretty solid too, it helps us stay on track with deadlines. Automating some of the basic intake forms saved us a good chunk of time when we first set it up.

Cons

The mobile app can be a bit clunky sometimes, especially when trying to quickly access a specific document. It's not a huge deal for day-to-day work but can be frustrating when I'm out of the office and need something urgently. Wish it was a bit more intuitive.

### "Great Client & Matter Management Software"

May 14, 2025

4.0

My overall experience with Clio has been good. There are several areas where I believe improvements can be made. They are constantly rolling out updates to the software and they do accept recommendations from their subscribers so I believe it will get better with time. The software hits on practically every aspect needed by a law firm so I would recommend it if you wanted assistance in managing your firm.

Pros

I like that it offers an academy so you can learn how to properly work the software. They also have an extensive help section that allows you to seek assistance at any time and most times I have found a solution. I also like that if allows you to track a client from beginning to end and offers you the option to enter as much information on a client and matter as you wish.

Cons

What I like least about Clio is that there is not an easy way to invoice a client who has hired the firm on a flat rate instead of hourly. It will allow the flat rate however it does not allow you to break down the time with descriptions of the work completed without jumping through a lot of hoops. It can be done however it requires several steps and can use up quite a bit of time.

### "Highly recommend Clio for all attorneys, especially those with solo practices!"

May 28, 2026

5.0

I was pleasantly surprised with Clio. I started with only Clio Grow and Clio Manage. I was not positive I would ever learn how to use them properly. However, once I did, I liked them so much that I tried Clio Draft and Clio Work. Now Clio is a necessary part of my practice.

Pros

I love that Clio has thought one step ahead. The products save a step for attorneys and paralegals on every platform. I am saving time and increasing my revenue by incorporating all Clio products into my firm.

Cons

Like any other software, it takes time to learn how to use Clio. While many functions are clear cut, some things are counterintuitive. Once you learn the software, you are cutting hours out of your day, but it does take some training hours to get there.
