Pros
Keeps great customer records, and personally I thought it was super easy to learn and catch on to how it works in a short amount of time.
I loved that there is almost always 2 ways to go about any single function.
I like the easy use of looking at the calendar and scheduling appointments.
And at $50 per month it's on the top of the price spectrum. They offer seminars that you can pay to go to and the support staff is nice.
Cons
Anytime we had a software issue, customer service was immediately on the problem.
It fails to install properly, will not play well with Windows, and seems almost network unaware.
Getting it up and running reminds me of how hard it was to install software in 1982.
Forget about using it on your iPad or Phone. If it were cloud based it could be used anywhere anytime from any machine, but it's not.

"Never double book a date again"
Pros: One of my most used features is the calendar booking, I am always afraid to double book a date and succesware makes sure I do know when I have a job and when I am available to take another shoot
Cons: it takes some time to learn to use it, but after you set it up is great
"This checks all the boxes"
Overall: We purchased this software about a year and a half after starting our small business and we are now a muti million dollar company. We could not have handled the growth with such ease if not for a program such as Successware that guides us in all aspects of the business from dispatch to book keeping to agreements.
Pros: Although a learning curve is to be expected, we find our new employees able to easily grasp how to work with the system.
Cons: I wish there was more flexibility with adjusting agreements rather than cancelling and recreating.
"Too Dang Much Trouble !!"
Overall: The software is pretty decent, once you go through 1 - 7 DAYS of misery to get it installed and working properly on your system! Their app does not like Windows, and is a REAL PAIN to get up and running. Once it is working, do not touch anything, because.... They introduce bugs into every new release, so the upgrade process is a repeat of the original install -- it will fail to launch at all, or run poorly, because it cannot access its files over the network. Best to look elsewhere for a decent product.
Pros: Once functioning, the software is reasonably good.
Cons: Getting it up and running reminds me of how hard it was to install software in 1982... It fails to install properly, will not play well with Windows, and seems almost network unaware.

"My favorite software"
Overall: My favorite benefits of SuccessWare is that there is less time spent scheduling a customer, with color coding based on areas customers are located at it is less time consuming when asking the customer which dates they are available b/c it is easy for user to determine which dates technician will be in area which benefits not just the user but the technician and company b/c by doing so you are being time efficient and gas efficient . I also love the access to customer history and billing.
Pros: I love the shortcuts to access clients, client history & that there is many options to put in private information regarding customer or customer preferences.
Cons: I did not feel there is any feature missing. However, in comparisons to other software, it is a bit harder to navigate because it offers so many features. I did love that there is tutorials and easy access to questions you may have as a first-time user.
"Nice Functionality but Outdated UI"
Overall: Overall, Successware is a good solution for companies with services requiring dispatching, but the UI is older and does not function well if hosted outside the office. There are other solutions like Service Titan that may work better if you are looking for a more modern solution, but do some research on the features to make sure it meets your company needs.
Pros: Successware has a lot of functionality when it comes to using this for dispatch purposes in a service industry. There are a lot of features built in such as invoice management, timesheet management, lead management and of course dispatching. It does what it was designed to do very well.
Cons: It is highly recommended that you host this locally on your own server. Our company was using this hosted outside the office, and it was very laggy, would constantly freeze and shut-down, and was unresponsive a lot. The UI is also outdated and needs a major overhaul.
"Make Money in Photography"
Overall: Successware is a tool to help you run your photography business. Developed by photographers for photographers. From confirming my marketing is profitable, to pricing, to confirming all are orders are completed, its all there.
Pros: I run my complete photography business with Successware. I dont have to use one client management package and another accounting software. It works in an all in one package.
Cons: The set up is the hardest part. Once I started using the software, following my clients through reports and pricing my products properly, It was totally worth a little pain.
"Very Helpful"
Overall: This program is very helpful for our scheduling and dispatching needs.
Pros: I like the easy use of looking at the calendar and scheduling appointments.
Cons: I wish there was a way we could download our paper copies onto the customer account so that we could eliminate the need to pull the original docs when researching a job.
"Good Service Software"
Overall: It has been a good product for us.
Pros: Everyone in our office that uses it likes it.
Cons: It is mainly for residential service companies. They are missing a huge market opportunity in the commercial sector (which is what we do).
"Review"
Overall: Overall it works pretty good for dispatching.
Pros: I like the way successware has their memberships set up.
Cons: I don't like how slow successware can be.
"Sera Review"
Overall: It is extremely user friendly and easy to use
Pros: How easy and user friendly it is, it doesn't have tabs that are pointless, every thing is very black and white.
Cons: I think it would be helpful to have had the memberships we use, imported over from successware.
"Amazing dispatch software"
Overall: Anytime we had a software issue, customer service was immediately on the problem. I was using this software for 10+ years and could navigate it in my sleep, recommend it to any service trade type company
Pros: I loved that there is almost always 2 ways to go about any single function. Keeps great customer records, and personally I thought it was super easy to learn and catch on to how it works in a short amount of time.
Cons: I liked the price and reoccurring fees the least
"Dispatch with ease"
Pros: Everything you needs is accessible from one page
Cons: Typos to personnel files are impossible to remedy.
"Not up to date."
Overall: Successware was what I was trained on so I thought it was a great program until Sera came along. Im not sure I would recommend to anyone.
Pros: I liked how it keeps track of cust memberships and lets us know what is left to do for that customer.
Cons: The software goes down alot. It seems to not be up to date.
"It's okay"
Overall: It's a monster program that had every possible feature but is oitdated. Forget about using it on your iPad or Phone. If it were cloud based it could be used anywhere anytime from any machine, but it's not. It's interface and look is that it was designed by accountants for accountants. They focus on the business end of things, but honestly it's a grind, pure tedium to set up and use. It's just exhausting. And at $50 per month it's on the top of the price spectrum. They offer seminars that you can pay to go to and the support staff is nice.
