Been very good. We are happy with all the support and the product itself. I would find it hard to move to a different platform.

Pros

Very easy to use and has tons of reports for all my clients. I love how detailed the software is and covers everything we need from an RCM standpoint.

Cons

Adding additional employee users is very expensive compared to other softwares. It adds up very quickly when having a larger team.

The onboarding was so amazing, the info I learned was so great. It honestly was so easy and you just can't screw it up. Once we were onboarded things went pretty smoothly. Right now its trying to figure out the tricks to make things even faster. Oh and tech support and customer service has been super amazing and quick when I have issues.

Pros

The ease of use, ease of navigating, the value for the money. It was pretty easy to learn and they have so many videos to learn tricks of the program also.

Cons

That it did not integrate with our EHR so everything was manual entry, no fault of theirs though. I also am still trying to figure out tricks to make things faster and easier, so many things to navigate that it takes time to get to some of the easy stuff.

Honestly, it felt like others were promising things they couldn't actually deliver, I felt EZ Claim was being more honest and working with the fact we couldn't integrate with our EHR, Also they were easier to use and get set up quickly.

Overall, the program is simple to learn and use. It is very helpful in our day-to-day posting of payments and invoicing.

Pros

The software itself is pretty easy to use. The functionality of the program ties into our Quickbooks program pretty well.

Cons

Their customer support is lacking for sure. I have submitted 3 different support tickets to attempt to update our account, with response to only 1 of the requests. It was something that our IT department is unable to do, so I replied to the same "open" ticket, and received no response.

Overall my experience with EZClaim is very good, I love the ease of use, it has been very reliable over the years; I have not experience any down time where the software is not working. It is easy to log in, and if I do have any questions, a live person will reach out to me, or I can call and speak to someone over the phone.

Pros

We have been using EZ-CLAIM for many years now, and I love the ease of use. I also like the fact if we are updating the Ez-Claim software, if any issues arises, I have always been able to email or contact a representative, who is always very professional and able to quickly resolve my issues.

Cons

I wish that each statements matched with each individual claim ID number; this would make it easier to attached the correct claim number to the statement.

The customer reps are very knowledgeable and helpful, and I know I can get an answer to my questions.

Pros

Ease of use. Useful and helpful when needed. I can request help by phone, email or open a help ticker.

Cons

The cost per month is a little steep for me. As a small time practice plus the cost of TriZetto, it is a little much.

I have used Ezclaim for 16 years now for 5 different offices and have been pleased with the ease of use. Haven't found a better software especially for reports and control of how claims need to be submitted

Pros

Easy to use, useful and easy to understand reports, patient bill pay option now available, patient statement options

Cons

EzClaim offers a user friendly billing software, easy to learn, and claim submission, payment posting and follow up ease.

Cons

Unfortunately, support is lacking in communication and providing information about processes. Requested call backs do not occur...Account change requests are met with errors and lack of follow through by Support. Expressed my concerns although same issues occurred again.

Pros

The EZ claim software is great! I have been using for maybe 12 years. I feel other medical software is more complicated and to many clicks..

Cons

Some of the reports could be more precise, I think doing more upgrading would help that. I also would like the help desk to be quicker with the phone calls

EZClaim is a very user friendly product. It's very straight forward and has the ability to do all required functions for Medical Billing.

Cons

It would be nice if I could fully customize my own reports. There are a lot of great reports to choose from, but there are times I have to combine two or three to get the data I really am looking for.

Pros

Real live eligibility with Trizetto combination is a great tol to speed up the billing process. Highly recommend

Cons

Calendar, the wek starts with Sundays and not possible to select a default montgs for older billing. Also, there is no option to attache a file together with the claim.

I have only had positive experiences with setup and support. Quick response times for questions or concerns. In depth training.

Pros

Easy to use and offers remote access. Simple design is easy to navigate. Multiple reporting options. Offers electronic billing and payment features. Great price for what is offerred

Cons

Does not come preloaded with ICD or CPT codes. No report available to search for possible duplicate patients. Resetting remote passwords without support is difficult.

Overall, our experience with EZClaim has been positive. They are generally very receptive to correcting and troubleshooting any issues we have. I appreciate their professionalism as well and quick turnaround on product support.

Pros

The process for setting up a new account with EZClaim as well as the ability to quickly and easily start billing was very beneficial. The software is not "clunky," or difficult to navigate and makes inputting claims fairly easy (no pun intended). The software is also very user friendly from the stand point that if you have limited billing experience or knowledge, you can still effectively and efficiently submit claims.

Cons

The thing that I like least about EZClaim is its lack of integration with some of the practice management/emr softwares. For example, we use Practice Fusion with EZClaim, but the products are not seamlessly integrated and does create some work to correct the claims on the backend. Overall, its not the big of a problem because we "scrub," our claims before submission. However, it would be more useful if they were seamlessly integrated. The only other thing I would mention is that there is no weekend or after hour support, which can be frustrating when we experience issues afterhours or on the weekends as we bill seven days a week.

Ultimately we chose EZClaim over alternative products because of the ease of use of the system and the cost relative to the system usage as well. The other products were significantly more expensive and required a massive amount of lead time for start up.

Phenomenal. The software is fantastic, the price is great and the customer service is out of this world. The best purchase I've made for my company, hands down.

Pros

Customization. Not having a plethora of 'area restricted' signs all over was a big selling point. I don't like when something I purchase tells me what to do or how to do it and EZClaim allows me to captain and that's my main reason for choosing them.

Cons

Honestly, anything that's ever been an issue - EZClaim has solved in one way or another so: nothing.

Overall, I like the system, and I have been able to learn and effectively use it relatively easily. I don't use all the features as they aren't pertinent to my job but the ones I use work well.

Pros

I am able to submit my claims without problem and, if there's a problem with the claim, I am able to see exactly what the problem is and correct it as necessary. I also like that I am able to leave myself detailed notes to refer to in each claim. I also really love the responsiveness of the help team. When I ran into a big problem I couldn't figure out, I got to have a video call with a support team member which helped me a lot.

Cons

It took me a while to learn some of the features I use. However, I will say that once you know what you're doing, it's an easy system to use. Also, I have had some difficulty locating the help I need in the help section and have sometimes resorted to an internet search or YouTube.

Pros

Very user friendly for what needs to be done for a small company. The reports are very useful as well.

Cons

It could have some improvements, like being able to search an account by state would help a lot. pdfs also do not need to be viewed on the software so having the option to opt out of that question could help too.

Sometimes it's a little off when I login. I have to log back out and get back in. It also has a few things I don't understand and I which the training was a bit better.

EZ Claim is easy to add new payers and work with multiple clearinghouses. We are easily able to load our data into the system from our EMR.

Cons

Our least favorite aspect is the use of eligibility checks and the posting of ERAs. The workflow for eligibility checks is cleaner to complete within the clearinghouse.

EZClaim has worked for most of what my organization has needed, but there were several glitches encountered over the years. At times the staff using the software was unfamiliar with how to address an issue. More training resources for staff would be helpful.

Pros

EZClaim is a low cost option for billing. It can handle the large volume of claims my organization submits on a weekly basis. Reports are good as long as the imports are succesful

Cons

import issues--We primarily use the software for Medicaid billing. When clients have a temporary Medicaid ID and claims are submitted and paid using the temporary ID, Medicaid subsequently voids the original claim and creates a replacement claim with the Clients permanent ID. EZClaim accepts the void import but can't handle the replacement claim. This results in large distortion of unpaid claims and make Accounts Receivable management very difficult.

Pros

I love the zoom calls. They are so helpful with questions for a first time user. They are very patient and willing to answer any questions.

Cons

There are no cons at this point. I am still new to using EZClaim but I do not have anything that I do not like at this point.

EZClaim has hands down been the best billing software I have ever used, and I have been in the medical industry for 23 years. It is user friendly, has great shortcuts, and the customer service has always been amazing!

Pros

The entire system is extremely easy to use. The feature I like the most is the use of templates. I set up templates for the most common type of appointments. This allows me to create and finish a claim in less than 30 seconds. Saves me and my staff a TON of time.

Cons

You have to manually input every new patient. You cannot use a CSV upload to add many patients at a time.

We are always able to stay up to date with our billing and our receivables. The reports are helpful in keeping track of aging claims and unpaid balances. Customer Service is easily reached and the staff are always dependable.

Pros

EZ claim is very flexible for our billing needs, no matter the payer we are billing to or adding to our payer list. Also, we love the ability to duplicate some of the repetitive data in claims day to day, saving us valuable time.

Cons

There are some data elements that do not copy over from previously billed claims that we wish would do so as it would eliminate even more duplicate entry claim to claim, specifically on UB04 institutional claims.
