Pros: Easy to use for Rx management. For storage and inventory, as well as dispense and administration. Easy for end users to manage.

Cons: Back end has to do any single changes, there is not a hybrid end user position for them to make small changes.

Comments: This system requires a ton of mouse clicks, filters, and other navigation to complete tasks. This is a very non-intuitive system. Although it includes a ton of features, the most important tasks are slowed down by the navigation. If time and efficiency are important, this may not fit your needs.

Comments: I have worked with RX30, QS1 and McKesson Computer Systems and I have to say GuardianRx is the easiest one to work with. I have used CarePoint for 10 years and we have 10 locations that use it. Like all new software, it does take some time to get familiar with. I may be a little biased but the features that GuardianRx offers allow your pharmacy to be the most profitable and operate at high level. Their Customer Service is also great. You┬┐re not just `customer┬┐, they get to know you by your first name and they form a nice relationship with you. The option to call and speak to the same support person every time is awesome. I know when I dealt with QS1 and McKesson Computer System, that wasn't the case. The only thing that GuardianRx is missing is an integrated POS system. Besides that, GuardianRx has been a great Pharmacy Software System!

Comments: I have been using this product in a compounding pharmacy for several years. The software is not meant for compounding, no matter what they tell you. It is not possible to make a legal prescription label for multi-ingredient compounds as there is insufficient room to list the ingredients on the screen. When entering a new formula the software crashes for no reason about 2/3 of the time and all the information entered is lost and must be re-entered. The help desk will open a ticket, but they rarely close a ticket. We have had numerous issues that we have had to just work around causing inefficient work flow. The format is not user friendly or intuitive. Promised features do not exist, such as an app for customer refills. Tech support is often surly and tech support management is apparently uncaring of this. My IT guy has been wanting us to change vendors since he started with us. It takes several hours after every update to get labels and paper to print from the correct drawer. 24/7 support is a misnomer, if I call after business hours I get a message machine and issues left on the voice mail may or may not be addressed, ever. I highly recommend NOT buying this product if efficiency, workflow, training and support are important to your business.
