December 20, 2024 5.0 Whenever I'm not sure how to do something, there's a great library of tutorial videos. A couple of times I needed help and their customer support was great! They answered me quickly and gave me what I needed. My employees like the modern look and it's very easy to navigate, and our management team likes the reporting capabilities. Pros The ease of use, my employees love it and so do I. Cons I can't think of anything that I don't like about it. We love the product and the staff are very helpful when we have questions! Pros All of my supervisors love the ease of employee attendance tracking and the time clock. Leave is easy for users to submit and supervisors to approve. The time clock works perfectly! The price point is good as well for our small non-profit. Cons I can’t say that there’s anything that I would change. Of course, things can always be cheaper but this product is very reasonable compared to other solutions. I appreciate the ability to schedule a call, but sometimes I need to generate information quickly and don't have the time to wait for a call. I wish there were more webinars on specific topics, rather than fewer that are so packed with information it's tough to follow. Pros I like that there is a variety of reports to access. I also like how easy it is for staff to use the time clock module. Cons There is a learning curve since there is no hard copy to reference for instructions. I also don't like that the modules don't communicate with one another. I have to pull reports out to Excel and manipulate the data there. It can be time-consuming. Pros User friendly, highly customizable, easy tracking and approval, great reports, easy onboarding backed by a supportive and communicative staff. Cons Initially setting up our time off balances was a little confusing, but customer care was always just a phone call or email away. We've been using them for about 3 years now and it's a very easy, simple system that works well for a small company. Pros Easy to use, easy to make adjustments to PTO and timesheets, overall staff have found it to be quite intuitive and user friendly as well. Cons For the most part, the system is very intuitive. With that said, when I run into things that are difficult, while I've been able to get through to support, it sometimes takes a little bit of time to get the problem resolved. Understanding that time off needs to be approved and cleared at the end of the year, it would still be nice to be able to request time off for the next year. It's been a great tool for us at a great price-point. Would love to see if there as an optional automation tied to Slack that would alert the company when someone is OOO, or has time off coming up. Pros PurelyHR is easy to use by employees and administrator alike. The reports are easy to pull and review. Appreciate the calendar view and seeing everyone's time-off schedule, plus holidays. Love being able to add our own events (like a conference or company offsite). Customer service has always been exceptional -- quick to respond and helpful. Cons It might be a setting that I need to tweak, but usually when someone wants to take off time that is not 8 hours or 4 hours as the account admin I need to manually enter it. Pros Setting up new users is very simple. The pricing is reasonable. The application has run seamlessly for our company for many years now. It has everything you could need for your small business including the ability to customize holidays based on workers locations which as an organization with employees in multiple provinces is important. Pros As a small organization we needed something to track employee time off more accurately than just a spreadsheet and this software fit the bill. It's easy to learn and the time it saves in reporting and tracking is well worth the monthly cost. It's also great for figuring out carry over and balance projections. Cons i wish employees could cancel just one day of a multi day request instead of an admin needing to do it but that's really a minor issue overall it's a great product. Review Source KB Kevin B. Cons There are some learning curves with the system, and there is a limitation for hourly employees with the Time Clock and Time Off model that did not work for our firm. Pros Works well and gets the job done. We only have 2 non-exempt employees for which timeoff is tracked, so only needed something basic. Pros Since, we are a global company, it was very difficult to manage staff leave and their line managers to approve based on different territory. PurelyHR made it very easy for us to consolidate and get various leave approvals easy. Cons I think there's no way for PurelyHR to send a calender invite or something for MS outlook for their line managers to know their off schedule. For now its done manaully. Pros Simplicity and customization are made quite easy for administrator and employee's onboarding. We currently only use the time tracking portion of PurelyHR but we have been using for more than 10 years with great satisfaction. The cost has been quite positive as a not for profit. Cons As far as time-off module goes, I think there's many reporting options and sometimes its hard to find on the first go the exact report type you need but there are some many options that what you are looking for does exist. We do not have a full time HR department so tracking PTO and planning PTO is so much easier with Purely HR. No complaints from PRO! Pros We are a small business so Purely HR offers us a reasonably priced option to provide time off transparency to our team members so we dont end up with too many people off per day. Cons Nothing in particular.
