Whenever I'm not sure how to do something, there's a great library of tutorial videos. A couple of times I needed help and their customer support was great! They answered me quickly and gave me what I needed. My employees like the modern look and it's very easy to navigate, and our management team likes the reporting capabilities.

Pros

The ease of use, my employees love it and so do I.

Cons

I can't think of anything that I don't like about it.

Pros

I like it for the simplicity. I have found success with the support team. The applications have provided new opportunities to apply the product to help our company.

Cons

I do think there is room to build functionality independently for each company to enhance the use of the modules.

### "More webinars and a module manual"

Overall, if I knew of a resource I could reference anytime I need to for instructions, it would be so helpful. I appreciate the ability to schedule a call, but sometimes I need to generate information quickly and don't have the time to wait for a call. I wish there were more webinars on specific topics, rather than fewer that are so packed with information it's tough to follow.

Pros

I like that there is a variety of reports to access. I also like how easy it is for staff to use the time clock module.

Cons

There is a learning curve since there is no hard copy to reference for instructions. I also don't like that the modules don't communicate with one another. I have to pull reports out to Excel and manipulate the data there. It can be time-consuming.

The system works well and does what we need, just need the option to download reports to Excel (or .csv).

Pros

Works well and gets the job done. We only have 2 non-exempt employees for which timeoff is tracked, so only needed something basic.

Cons

Reports cannot be downloaded to .csv or .xlsx which is needed. If you add that, I'll give it 5 stars.

We appreciate how user friendly the modules are. We love the product and the staff are very helpful when we have questions!

Pros

All of my supervisors love the ease of employee attendance tracking and the time clock. Leave is easy for users to submit and supervisors to approve. The time clock works perfectly! The price point is good as well for our small non-profit.

Cons

I can’t say that there’s anything that I would change. Of course, things can always be cheaper but this product is very reasonable compared to other solutions.

Overall PurelyHR meets our needs perfectly and exceeded our expectations when the team began using the Time Off module. It beats tracking time off on an Excel spreadsheet, and the reporting is excellent.

Pros

User friendly, highly customizable, easy tracking and approval, great reports, easy onboarding backed by a supportive and communicative staff.

Cons

Initially setting up our time off balances was a little confusing, but customer care was always just a phone call or email away.

### "Solid HRIS System"

Overall it's been positive. We've been using them for about 3 years now and it's a very easy, simple system that works well for a small company.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to make adjustments to PTO and timesheets, overall staff have found it to be quite intuitive and user friendly as well.

Cons

For the most part, the system is very intuitive. With that said, when I run into things that are difficult, while I've been able to get through to support, it sometimes takes a little bit of time to get the problem resolved.

A very intuitive HR tool that we have used for attendance for the past 10 years. It has many robust features and reporting.

Pros

PurelyHR is extremely easy to set up and use. The support team is incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions.

Cons

I have not really had a negative experience with any of its functionality. I can always count on its accuracy.

Very easy to use and setup isn't too difficult. Help Desk Support is also very accessible and friendly.

Pros

Clean, simple interface and easy for both Administrators and Employees to use. I also like that you can add or remove modules to suit your business needs.

Cons

It's currently only available in web form; an app would be much more effective and would render better for mobile users.

Overall, my experience with PurelyHR has been positive. The customer service team is incredibly responsive and thorough, but some of the modules seem clunky in general.

Pros

I appreciate the helpful and thorough customer service from the PurelyHR team. They follow through on problems and offer many solutions.

Cons

The performance module is a bit antiquated and clunky. There are not many options to personalize (tools, drop down options) the overall module outside of competencies.

It is fairly easy to use. We can easily upload to our calendar from the approval email.

Cons

It doesn't work well with Carryover Days. We will be doing lots of manual work in order for it to work properly.

Completely improved the way we manage employees PTO. What a time saver and paper saver! Probably reduced our time spent managing PTO by 90percent.

Pros

The ease and convenience for both administration and staff. The record keeping aspect without a paper trail is probably one of my favorite features.

Cons

Can't say that I have one currently. If there was one thing, and it might be operator error on my part, but I would adjust the choice to limit the number of employee request on a given day to specific categories such as 4 employees requesting a personal day without restricting a sick day request if it's over the limit for requests.

### "Great Time Management Tool"

Very good online time management tool that employees can use very easily. Great for end of year time off reporting!

Pros

Easy to request annual leave, sick leave or other leave by signing in online. It keeps a record of time used and the balance of time on hand.

Cons

You cannot request time off into the next year. Understanding that time off needs to be approved and cleared at the end of the year, it would still be nice to be able to request time off for the next year.

We've been using PurelyHR since it was called Time Off Manager. It's been a great tool for us at a great price-point. Would love to see if there as an optional automation tied to Slack that would alert the company when someone is OOO, or has time off coming up.

Pros

PurelyHR is easy to use by employees and administrator alike. The reports are easy to pull and review. Appreciate the calendar view and seeing everyone's time-off schedule, plus holidays. Love being able to add our own events (like a conference or company offsite). Customer service has always been exceptional -- quick to respond and helpful.

Cons

It might be a setting that I need to tweak, but usually when someone wants to take off time that is not 8 hours or 4 hours as the account admin I need to manually enter it. Not really a problem, but sometimes the employee is confused about how to handle that.

Overall Purely HR support has been quick to respond to all issues and easy to work with. The software is also reasonably priced.

Pros

Ease of use for Manager and employee to submit and approve time off via most computer systems. Easy to manage from the IT side of things.

Cons

Purely HR struggles with their performance review program as it doesn't allow different managers for reviews vs time off approvals

I love the ease of using the software. It is easy to add and delete people. I like the color coded items.

Cons

I wish we had the ability to role vacation time over a 13 month period vs 12 month period. Our milestone days have to be added manually and wish this could be automatic

Great. My team has no issues managing the tool or setting it up for new years. As I mentioned in the above comments, easy, simple, and useful tool.

Pros

Clean user interface. Simple to use & Simple to teach. No hassle with set up. No bug issues. The scheduled reports are good for keeping leaders up to date.

Cons

Need an option for hourly employees for accrual. Other than that, the tool works great. No other enhancements needed.

PurelyHR is a great online platform to track leave days and great quick customer support. Reasonable cost.

Cons

There isn't a lot that I don't like about PurelyHR. The only thing I would comment on is that it's hard to navigate, particularly tasks I don't do regularly.

Satisfied. The system does exactly what we need it to do. Autogenerated reports that we set up for managers and members of executive staff are very helpful and appreciated

Pros

The system is user friendly. I like the reports that are available as they offer a variety or ways to present information.

Cons

Correcting policies sometimes can be a bit confusing. I have noticed results in reports can be incorrect at times (ex. anniversaries). but that was on me - how I requested the data. Once I revised my search things appeared correct.

Pros

PurelyHR makes keeping up with employee's time off so easy and efficient. There is never a question about whether or not time has been added or deducted.

Cons

Creating polices was a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it and a little bit of help from support, I got the job done.

PurelyHR has simplified our time-off requests. With a simple to use, easy to learn platform, requests have been super simple to make, as well as reviewing them and logging them.

The design feels a little dates and the navigation is not as intuitive but once you learn it it's quite simple to use.

Has mentioned before we have been using PurelyHR for 10+ year and we are quite satisfied we would recommend for time-off.

Pros

Simplicity and customization are made quite easy for administrator and employee's onboarding. We currently only use the time tracking portion of PurelyHR but we have been using for more than 10 years with great satisfaction. The cost has been quite positive as a not for profit.

Cons

As far as time-off module goes, I think there's many reporting options and sometimes its hard to find on the first go the exact report type you need but there are some many options that what you are looking for does exist.

This is a great product with quick support. We have a 20 person office and it helps us tremendously to keep up with accrued time. The settings are customizable to a complex time off accrual structure too.

Pros

This is a perfect product for our 20 person office. We are able to keep up with accrued time with ease and it is user friendly.

Cons

We have had intermittent issues with getting e-mails when there are two approvers for a single employee.
