This is a great software for our youth services teams. We are able to produce the necessary items for our rev. cycle, and the programs are able to track basic case management items that are not in the legally required system (Guardian).

Pros

It has a very good integrated financial system. The support we have received while implementing this new feature for our organization has been top-notch. Relatively reasonable for pricing as well, licensure is fantastic price wise.

Cons

It is not very intuitive how to use the system. Some of the processes seem disjointed or just clunky to navigate. I would not necessarily choose this system for complicated workflows (like utility or rental assistance workflows), because of the household level reporting and other complex outcomes.

We are no longer offering health services, as such we are ending our time with NextGen but still need to bill for some of our youth service programs. Extended Reach was a great option because they were already using it for client tracking.

I like how eR is set up, and when it functions as intended it is really great. My only gripe is when it gets unbearably slow. This slows down my workday significantly as I get bottlenecked by submitting case notes. Outside of this, eR is fantastic.

Pros

I like that I get reminders for tasks that need to be done. I also like that supervisors are able to look at documents I have submitted, provide feedback, and send them back to me so I can revise them.

Cons

At times, eR runs exceptionally slow regardless of internet connection. I find that it does this when I enter more than a couple items to an individual's case file. If this did not happen, eR would be absolutely incredible.

The software is very user friendly. It was easy to train staff on how to start using the software and it has all the features that we need as a non-profit.

I have had some problems that customer service has not been able to solve yet.

Pros

It allows us to document interactions with clients, ensure compliance and bill the appropriate parties timely.

Cons

It times out very quick and often, we realize it’s a safe guard but it’s very annoying.

Overall I have had a good experience with KaleidaCare Solutions.

Pros

I like that I am able to easily document my clients and information needed about them. I hate doing notes and keeping electronic records of clients, but I know that it has to be done. KaleidaCare Solutions makes my life a little bit easier to do so.

Cons

I feel as though there is additional information spots that are unnecessary, but that could be my administrators set up.

The overall experience is okay. I would recommend that the filter for inputting notes or extracting notes be streamlined a bit so that it does not take so many steps for the same outcome.

Pros

I like that you can export the notes to a Word document of a pdf which makes it easy to share clinical notes.

Cons

I feel like it is not easily navigated and there are many steps to the same outcome that could be streamlined a little more.

Most features are used the same way making it easy for new user setup. The ability to customize forms makes the software easily expandable.

Cons

Want more customization options with building custom forms and lack of a comprehensive security auditing tool.

Pros

I like how this software tracks all information relevant to a children's home.

Cons

This software is not very user friendly and it seems to be very confusing at times to use. A lot of us at our facility have a hard time using it and trying to figure out how to use it.
