Pros: Report link such as Manager Report and Business source is useful

Cons: Part of guest report a bit difficult cause have no total number of guest separate by adult, child

Overall: I don't say that the system is bad because of the function is not proper, some menus were hidden, in need to click to find it. training not clear because the trainer is English speaking and all user are Thai so some point is not clear and training seem like a lecture. In my opinion, training should have monitor separate and all trainee can practice in each proposition.

Recommendations to other buyers: If possible need to mix good point of Fidelio or HIS or etc. into this system then will be the best.

Dear k. Mong, Many thanks for your review, even though I think you have been somewhat harsh. With regards to your comments I would respond, all the initial training was undertaken with every student using a computer. With the students practising all the key operations as we went along. I also repeated the training four times because of your high turnover of staff. With regards to the language, from before you purchased the software it was known by the hotel management the training would be in English. As to a 2 stars rating for customer support, you receive a response to every request within hours, and usually minutes, not even Fidelio responds that fast. Finally value for money, I challenge you to find any comparable system that is even close to our low pricing. Most similar system are 3 to 4 times the price of our system, if not more. As I said, overall I think you have been somewhat harsh.

Comments: We wanted an all embracing hotel management system at an affordable price. Our previous system was very good, but in needing to update a huge expenditure for both soft and hard ware was requireed. Resort Manager was recommended by a respected colleague in the business and we opted for this. What is particularly good is that the system can be adapted to suit particular needs and this was done effectively. The training was very good and importantly, the follow-up sorting out inevitable glitches was speedy and the ongoing support is excellent. There are a few minor things which could be developed, but overall, we are more than satisfied with the system.

Comments: We replaced our existing PMS which was one of the big three systems with resort manager, We made the mistake of buying a global brand PMS through a Thai licence holder which you have to do due to there company rules. The back up support from the Thai licence holders based in Bangkok was absolutely abysmal, after three years of constant phone calls and e mails we decided we would have to move on and find a PMS that had the back up we required.
We have a middle size hotel of forty rooms and after a lot of research were recommended Mark Townsend of Littlefish Technologies, What a breath of fresh air after all the problems we had in the past three years. within a day of my e mail to Mark we were talking on Skype where he very patiently ran me through the departments of Resort Manger, from there we had signed up within a week and within a further week he was on his way to our hotel. The original agreement was that he would stay for two weeks to install the new PMS soft wear and carry out training in all departments, Ha stayed five weeks in the end to insure that everybody knew how to get the best from his system.
The system has been running for a couple of months now with no problems, plus Mark is always on the other end of the phone to answer any questions from our staff.
If there is a down side to this product i haven't found it yet.
I must finish by mentioning the very competitive price, Best value for money we have spent since the day the hotel opened .
