### "Using RXNT"

I've been in the medical business for 30 years and have watched EHR evolve and have worked on many systems both big and small. By leagues RXNT is the worst I have ever come across. Even if they pay you, do NOT use this system.

Pros

The layout is OK at best and is modifiable but that takes time.

Cons

The list is too long. There are endless glitches, it is web-based and incredibly slow. Whenever you're using/working don't worry, NO help will be available.

I’ve used RxNT for years and it just works. Simple to use, sends prescriptions to all pharmacies that I have tried to find, never had a single prescription that was not sent perfectly

Pros

Easy to use Remembers the medications that you use most commonly Keeps track previously prescribed medications for each patient Can be used on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android cellphone Best ePrescribing software that I’ve used

Cons

Need sufficient memory on a desktop to run smoothly

Ease of use, several pharmacies to choose from.

Cons

There is not an option to choose "delivery". I still have to call the pharmacy and tell them to deliver meds after they are put into RXNT.

Love the ease of a mobile app and web based interface. Easy to order medication and refills for patient to get sent immediately to MD for signature

Cons

Hard to add pharmacy via mobile app. Maybe send reminder texts to MD for pendings.

Not good at all. It slows things down quite a bit for Primary Care

Pros

e-Prescribe. was good for the pricing they offer.However, I was looking for all in one package EHR and it turned out to be a bad decision.

Cons

SchedulingEHRBilling- One module does not communicate well with other modules of RXNT

Pros

Compared to a previous e-prescribing software, this one is much easier to navigate and has not given me almost any glitches or mishaps.

Cons

The version I'm using did not connect directly with my electronic health record. Also, sometimes a medicine prescription did not go through to the pharmacy, and it did not notify me directly about this; I had to check on another screen.

Income went down drastically by using their billing and accounting software.

Pros

Easy to send electronic prescriptions. EHR is easy to use.

Cons

Billing and accounting. Customer service is bad. Phones are usually answered asking you to leave a voice mail. Ads in the EHR are annoying

I like it. It’s simple. It seems up to date with the pharmacy list - I have never had to add a pharmacy into the system, like I have had to do with other programs.

Pros

Once I get to the e-prescribing page, it is easy to use. I like that I can use it on my phone.

Cons

For me, getting to the prescribing med page is not instinctual. Each time, I click around before coming to it. Also, when choosing medications to renew or send or whatever, it is also not instinctual for me to click on the box to select the medication. I always click the medication name, wonder why the program is not responding, then remember to click the box.

Overall, I've been very happy with the platform and software.

Pros

It seems very easy to make templates and the information is carried forward from clinician to clinician.

Cons

Very little. It has had an occasional down time with e-prescribing which greatly impacts the clinic flow.

there are no problems i've had so far, only one issue i had this whole entire time of using rxnt, i think they were doing maintenance on it because the site wouldn't load but other than that, rxnt is very easy to navigate and use

Please change the dates on Current Meds to reflect when the ACTUAL prescription was written, and not when the pharmacy wrote asking for a refill!

Pros

Mostly fine.

Cons

When I look at "CURRENT MEDS" it shows the date when a \*\*Pharmacy asked me for a refill\*\* as being the last date date a prescription was "written," instead of the ACTUAL last date I wrote one. This is very confusing, as I do not respond to these pharmacy requests 99% of the time. Patients must come into the office to get refills. When they call asking for refills, these misleading dates make things more difficult to figure out, as I try to see when they should run out of their prescription and by which date they need to schedule followup. Very frustrating but my only real complaint.

Well worth using

Pros

A highly intuitive system with excellent connectivity. Data entry is easy and instructions are clear. Support services are prompt and always helpful and polite.

Cons

NONE except for poor support availability outside business hours. Althouh the weekend recording states that emergent issues can be addressed there are no instructions as to how to indicate an emergency situation exists. A message I left on a weekend indicating the need to resolve an emergency situation was not answered until Monday, the first business day.
