Everything else was by paper, charts and scripts etc. We were finding that RxNT was easier and CHEAPER to escribe scripts then it was to write paper scripts for our patients. Easy to use interface and great support when needed. Cons I've tried several times to get the diagnostic codes to be uploaded so we can chose them from the drop down but support always sends me to voicemail and gets back to me at the worst times in my schedule Review Source AO Ayodele O. Pros No longer have to write out and fax Rxs! Major time saver. Cons Only able to approve of one patient's meds at a time. I have to keep the hard token with me at all times. It has a comprehensive list of pharmacies which is helpful to locate the one that he patient want his/her to medications to be sent. Cons Adding patient to the database takes time. October 13, 2016 5.0 Very usable for an individual or practice. Saves time and frustration and improves RX monitoring ease. Pros A nurse can load the prescriptions saving a huge amount of time. If everyone in the practice uses it, you have a handy and portable record of what Rxs were sent when for how many which is invaluable on evenings and weekends and probably quicker than getting into the EMR or state controlled substance monitoring program. Cons A few pharmacies are not signed up. Surprisingly, even many small local pharmacies are connected with this program. A second con is this program cannot yet be used to write and then fax anything that needs to be put onto a prescription, such as off work notes, order for a wheelchair, etc Review Source BV Bridgette V. Cons If a patient has a home address out of state, like many of the college students do, RxNT autopopulates pharmacies for the home state rather than the state I'm located in Review Source KD Kirk D. More recently, we started with Kareo and it was problematic. While searching for e-prescribing solutions I came across RxNT and we enrolled for the entire package. My biller--who has experience with many systems--loves the system. Kareo just about broke the practice as it took 3 months to get enrolled with Medicare. With Kareo, it's taken 2-3 weeks. Customer service is outstanding; when submitting a problem you will generally get an answer the same day and often within an hour or two. Pros Easy of use Customer service Price Cons The EMR is a bit cumbersome but we will be using another system. But for PM RxNT has been terrific. e-Prescribing software prohibitively expensive if looking to integrate with other software Review Source RB Ricardo B. November 6, 2017 1.0 None - I went back to my prior Electronic Health Records provider. Pros Customer Support tries to provide: the product is not good, so they are essentially trying to do their best with the poor quality of the product. They really try, though... Cons Work-flow is a disaster. If you need to look back at information to complete a current page, you have to lose what you've done in order to go back. Back arrows don't work - system freezes. If you are in one area of the system (Clinical, for example) and remain idle in another (Scheduler, for example), the idle area will throw you off the system and require you to sign in again and again, even though you're still in system. I like how you can easily prescribe and refill prescriptions quickly and efficiently. This is an app that does it all!
