This is very helpful to keep from having to double enter. Pros Good option to have so there is no double entry. Also, they notify you when the pharmacy requests a refill. Cons When you fill a pending order the pending request does not go out of the patient record. This tends to fill the medication list with non pertinent information. I used to be able to hit refresh and it would add the new RX and remove the discharged, it was fixed for awhile, but now there are errors when I try to refresh. It eventually pops in though. Cons RxNT does not integrate with primary care and Profiler EHR/EMR. The system is more ancillary and will likely be eliminated by Dr. First with Profiler EHR that integrates well with Profiler. We tried several others before deciding on RxNT. It has easy to find quick tabs help finding patient information. Electronic prescribing is quick and easy. Great reports to keep your office on top of meaningful use. By far the best EHR company out there. Pros This product was very easy to learn. It has scheduling, e-prescribing, rx history, encounters and vital tracking all on easy to view tabs. It really does have everything to help a practice run smoothly. Pros I appreciate that I can look up a patient's med list before they come in. Extremely helpful for new, older and pt's with multiple medications. I like the med history page and how I can import it directly to my EHR. It's easy to write scripts and send them to the desired pharmacy. Pros It's very easy to search for a med and prescribe it electronically. My favorite part about this software is that it gives you drug tiers and tells you if the drug is covered by their insurance or not. That saves a lot of time because I know which drug to send and not have to later worry about PAs or switching the drug after fighting with the insurance company. Cons Every now and then the software glitches when I search for certain medications. I will try searching and when I select the drug I want, the page goes blank. It only does this with certain drugs. But after i submitted i waited only a couple minutes and called the pharmacy and they had received it and were working on it. Cons There are several screens to click through so it's not as easy as i would like it to be. Often times I have problems in the mornings and can not have access to system and there is no support person to help me or my staff. Their explanations are baseless in my opinion as to why the system does not work and I have been very disappointed with this company and their performance. Pros low cost even that I am not sure because there are other competitive companies that one can find. Cons There are frequent problems with accessing the records and especially in the mornings. RxNT is straight forward, efficient and so easy to use. The support is quick and helpful...and you get to talk to a human being without huge waits and phone trees. It is easy to customize and you know right away that your prescription was sent electronically to the pharmacy. Pros Easy to learn; easy to use; makes sending Rxs very quick and easy. Cons Occasionally "kicks you out" and shuts off while you're in the middle of sending an Rx; this doesn't happen too often. Also, many times when I add a pharmacy to my favorites, although I get a message saying it was added, when I go to retrieve it from my favorites, it is not there. This software communicates well with our pharmacy, Enclara. It is easy for me to set the script up for the physician, so he just has to review and sign/send for our patients.
