Pros Mailchimp is very user friendly, definitely improved in the last few years. we tried other mailing server but always go back to mailchimp Cons I had some issues with cleaning database but it has been sorted promptly. it would be very useful to have a handbook in pdf format. I don't find myself too comfortable in using it long term and with long lists because I find the UX overwhelming and I don't even fully get to explore all the features. Pros Relatively easy to use, good quality-price compromise, overall a good starting solution but not the best Cons I find the user interface a bit confusing a messy. Like all SAS, the free version has some key limits, but it's very versatile for designing, sending, and tracking marketing emails. Exactly what it's supposed to do. Cons Is it fair to criticize a free service? No. What would I like to have access to? The exported contacts to have included the Contact Rating. Because that's a list of who you should call to find out why you aren't engaging them. Cons MailChimp price can get really steep once my list grows. This makes it expensive for large audience, so I usually have to purge my audience to reduce number of contacts I maintain. It’s increased our repeat purchase rate, including when we target customers by their last purchase or abandoned purchase. The automation allows us to keep our hands free, while remaining in view of the customer. Pros Creating visually impactful campaigns with Mailchimp is a breeze something particularly helpful when we’re announcing new seasonal collections or limited-time promotions. My team can quickly spin up beautiful emails that are on-brand even if they aren’t designers thanks to its drag-and-drop editor. Cons Working with both online and in-store shoppers leaves you with lots of overlapping segments. It was so easy to navigate. Cons I wish there was better options for the paid versions. Once you get past the free email numbers the prices aren’t competitive with other paid programs. Their product enables reliable deliverability of emails. Their editor is easy to use allowing clients to update campaign templates themselves through their user interface. Cons Pricing has increased over the years. The user interface for custom templates is quite poor in comparison to their email builder tool.
