Pros I continue to use Mailchimp because I need a good email system that not only performs well, but offers a modern look. I am now using Mailchimp for my artwork, so it's important that my emails match the design look my clients expect. I like the updated look and feel of the email templates. They're easy to use. However, I can also use the older version of templates as well. Cons At this time, I have no complaints for myself. I do feel that it could offer AI capablility for creating a series of emails on different topics to help people who are new to emails and don't understand how to properly inspire their subscriber's interest. I also liked that I could send out a second text when the person has not opened them. Pros We just started using Mailchimp. I think it is helpful that it integrates with Canva so that I can keep all my designs in one place and pull from there. I would recommend this product to other users. Pros It is a simple email service that is easy to integrate with any application. It can be used to send marketing and transactional emails. Templates are available to help users customize their email design. Cons The thing I like the least about Mailchimp is the inability to undo sending transactional emails within a short time period after they have been sent. There are also TONS of features I would love to try out but don't have the time for...yet :) Cons I would LOVE to be able to just pull up the platform, type an email in two minutes, and SEND, without having to set up all the background data. I found it robust, the customer service friendly and for doing the job for newsletters and marketing emails, really solid. Pros Mailchimp is a neat solution for smaller enterprises or individual needs - free up to 500 contacts is great if your list is small. You get plenty of features and integrations for this price. Segmentation is basic unless you buy a Standard (or up) package. Cons For me as an author with a large email list, MailChimp simply is not competitive for the number of contacts I require. If you have a small niche list this is a fantastic starter product. Database/contact cleansing is basic compared to other tools I've used. Templates are decent and you can do a lot as long as your design requirements are not top-end. I only used the more basic functions as my organisation was very small, but there were a lot of other features I could have used if I needed to. It was generally easy to use their email editor but there were some funny quirks about it that made it more complicated than necessary in my opinion. I really liked the link checker function which saved me a number of times from using the wrong links!
