" September 15, 2024 4.0 I love you using MailChimp for when I send bulk emails (about 200) at a time daily for a few weeks. It's pretty easy to set up once I got over the learning curve. There are quite a few YouTube videos on how to get your mass emails set up to send to bulk email addresses. Pros What I like most about MailChimp is that I can send the same email for a large amount of business email addresses. Cons No complaints, MailChimp is so easy to learn and use - when I onboarded at a past job I had never used it before, and it literally only took me 1 week to become completely immersed easily. We can easily upload our branded files. Pros Our organization appreciated the ease of use but also the metrics for who has opened the letter, clicked on any links and engaged with the newsletter. This helped us figure out our audience and what features had the most impact. It would be better if the glitches were taken care instead of ignored. Feels like the company only cares about getting paid and not about helping consumers. Pros Easy to use for a small business. You can use it to send emails and sms messages. Which makes reaching contacts all at once easier and faster. The price is also not horrible when you look at other companies that offer the same thing. Cons The free version was nice at first. But you can't add that many contacts. We purchased a paid subscription and it's better but there are annoying glitches that cost money. They charge for emails that may have been duplicate contacts. You can try to remove said contacts but it may or may not happen. Mailchimp isn't super user friendly and doesn't have great tie-ins to Shopify. It was nice, though, to have Mailchimp-hosted forms. Pros It was helpful to have surveys/forms (outside of signup forms) living within the email marketing platform. Cons Mailchimp was just kind of clunky and not super user friendly. Also, it does not integrate with Shopify nearly as well as Klaviyo does, which can make a big difference for businesses on Shopify. Review Source Chad W.
